“Aw, grabeng hang over to. Kahit I had one whole day to get over my headache ang sakit pa rin ng head ko”, Kim talked to herself as she got out of bed to get ready for school.

Gerald: Good morning gorgeous. (kissed her cheeks)

Kim: (mumbled) Morning.

Gerald: What’s wrong?

Kim: Nothing, just a little headache that’s all.

Gerald: Oh my poor Kimmy! Wait I have some headache tablets in my bag.

Kim: Hindi na, I’ve taken some before I left home.

Gerald Kim’s hair and started giving her a head massage.

Kim: Ge, what are you doing?

Gerald: Head massage para mawala ang headache mo.

Kim: Sinisira mo lang hairstyle ko eh, tagal ko pa naman pinaghirapan ito this morning. Excuse nga I have to find Mel may usapan kami.

~ At lunchtime ~

Gerald: Joyce! Hi! Nakita mo ba si Kim?

Joyce: I thought she was with you. You guys always have lunch together.

Gerald: I know that’s why I’m wondering asan na sya. I noticed medyo distant sya today. Siguro it’s her headache.

Joyce: Oh. Yeah, headache…of course. (naku baka tinotoo na talaga ng bruha na iwasan nya si Gerald!)

Shaina: Kim, where have you been? Kanina ka pa naming hinahanap nawala ka buong lunch. You’ll never guess who came to our campus for a visit. At take note, ikaw ang pinuntahan nya dito!

Kim: Artista ba?

Shaina: Bakit naman may artistang maghahanap sayo? May kilala ka bang artista personally?

Kim: Wala. Eh sino nga?

Shaina: Si loverboy Enchong mo!

Kim: Yeah right! As if that would happen!

Shaina: Totoo, we were looking for you nga the whole lunchtime.

Kim: I had to get something at home. Eh kung ganun, where is he?

Shaina: Bumalik na sa school nila pero he said he’ll be back later after school. Eto o, may rose with love note for you daw.

“Hi Kim. It’s a shame hindi kita nakita during lunchtime today. I was really looking forward to see your gorgeous face. Hope to see you after school. Missin ya, Enchong.”

Lara: Wow Kim gwapo naman ng visitor mo. Nag-clubbing pala kayo nung Saturday tapos naka-meet ka pa ng gwapo hindi ka man lang nagkwento.

Kim: There’s nothing to tell. (smile)

Gerald: Meron kaya. May ka-dance ka na guy, binigyan mo pa ng number mo and private details mo. Ang dami mong dapat i-kwento!

Sarah: Oyyy, may nagseselos.

Gerald: Sorry but I’m not the jealous type.

Joaqui: Hindi daw jealous pero kitang kita kanina when Enchong was here, hindi ma-drawing yung mukha mo, naimbyerna!

Gerald: Concern lang ako sa bestfriend ko. Who knows baka stalker sya or psycho killer?

Kim: Wa’g ka nang concern, I can handle myself. Anyways, harmless sya. New friend lang naming apat nila Mel si Enchong so there’s nothing to tell talaga. Let’s get to class na nga baka ma-late pa tayo.

This wasn’t Gerald’s day at all. At first he got worried na parang napansin nya na Kim is avoiding him. Then dumating ang guy na walang ibang hinahanap kundi si Kim and he found out about what she got up to on the weekend. (except for the drinking alcohol part as her bestfriends and Enchong kept that a secret para hindi masira and reputations nila in school) After school naman, routine na nila na Gerald gives her a lift home pero this time Kim decided to go with Enchong. He felt so down and broken-hearted that the moment he got home, he headed straight to his room, locked the door and just cried his heart out.

The next day, Gerald decided to stay home para mag-emote and to think things through between him and Kim. After school, Joaqui came by to see what his bestfriend is up to.

Joaqui: Gerald. Are you ok?

Gerald: Hey Joaqui. I just don’t feel well kaya hindi ako nakapasok kanina.

Joaqui: Wala ka namang lagnat ah. Ano bang sakit mo? Heart problem siguro no? I bet this is about Kim and Enchong.

Gerald: Nakakainis lang kasi pare, ka-meet pa lang nya sa tao, she ditched me na for him. Napaka unfair diba? Ang laki na ng effort ko for us tapos may guy na pumoporma sa kanya she gives him a chance kaagad parang wala man lang kaming pinagsamahan. Ang sakit dude. Parang ayoko ng mag-attend muna sa school. Hindi ko kayang makita syang masaya with another guy.

Joaqui: Sabi ko na nga sayo noon pa eh. See? Nakakita ka na ng katapat. It’s only a matter of time, syempre marami talagang manligaw kay Kim, obvious naman bakit diba? Alangan naman forever syang maghintay sayo, syempre dumating na rin siguro yung panahon na ready na syang mag-entertain ng other interested guys. Kung ikaw walang guts na manligaw sa kanya, there are other guys dyan na hindi natatakot. Dadami pa yan, so you better make your move now na bro.
