~Hana~

"Hana? You're not hungry? You've barely touched the food in front of you" Mom asked

I woke up from my thoughts and looked at mom

"I... just don't have the appetite" I mumbled

I couldn't really hide my disappointment in not meeting the guy by the lake earlier this morning and no matter how much I waited, it seems like he didn't show up. I had to go home in order to help mom prepare for lunch and just by preparing it, looking at it made me feel full already.

I was more than determined to go back this evening to see if he was there and I was hoping that he would be. Or else how am I suppose to ever see him again?

"Maybe you can put it away and have some later on ?" Dad suggested

"Sounds like a good idea" I mumbled

I helped mom to take care of the dishes and as soon as we were ready I went inside my bedroom, packed myself a bag and changed into a bikini and a long dress over. I wanted to take a swim by the lake.

I looked at the jacket that was lying there lifeless on my bed and I decided to bring it along, just in case he would show up. I packed myself some fruits and water and then I was off.

This time I walked slowly, trying to understand how I could be so excited to meet someone I barely knew. How I was so determined to give back his jacket when he should be the one looking for it if he wanted it back. Maybe I was acting a bit chilidsh since I was thinking like this but the entire night and this morning, it felt like i had been waiting to meet him and yet he was nowhere to be seen. But of course, he had friends and family too. Why should he stroll around the lake?

I rolled my eyes, sighing at myself for being so stupid and out down my things and the dress and ran down to the bridge and jumped straight away into the water.

As I came up to the surface, I floated around, letting the sunbeams hit my face, warming it up as the water was making me float around as it was wrapped around my body

I kept sighing while wandering around in the forest, waiting for the sun to go down. I hated the sun. I used to enjoy it but ever since this happened to me, I had started to hate it.

Now I felt even more lonely and lost than I have ever felt before. So empty inside.

Angrily I sat down on a tree and threw a stone somewhere.

That girl had been in my mind all day long and for some reason, I just couldn't help but to assume that she came down to the lake this morning just to give me back my jacket. I smiled at the thought of knowing that she came all the way down here just to give it back. How thoughtful..

I decided to go back to the lake as I knew the clouds were changing and the color as well.

Just a few more hours and then the sun would disappear.

I heard splashing the closer I got to the lake and when I came to the open wide place where the lake were located I saw someone swimming in the lake. I leaned against the tree with my shoulder as I looked at her.

She was here again. I couldn't help but smile

She was swimming around, sometimes floating, sometimes disappearing under the water and then she floated. She must be enjoying the water.

An hour passed and it started to get somewhat colder and I saw the sun was getting itself ready to disappear behind the cloud. But it wasn't sunset yet.

I saw her getting up on the bridge and walking hurriedly towards her stuff and she wrapped a towel around her as she sat down and dried herself.

When I saw she was finished and dry she put on a long dress and a long sweater and started to pack her things. I suddenly felt the panic coming as I started to understand that she was going back to her house. I looked at the sun desperately but it would take at least 10 more minutes before it would disappear.

"Just wait a little" i whispered and started to walk towards her

She packed her tings and for a second she stopped herself as I saw that she stared at my jacket. She then stood up, straightened herself and looked around and I saw her eyes looking at me, but through me. I wasn't there.

She then grabbed her bag and started to head back where she came from.

"Don't Go!"

She stopped and a few seconds passed before she spun around and looked at me

A bit surprised that she suddenly saw me, I realized that the sun were already down and now the sky just needed to change and darken. But the point is, she saw me now when the sun was gone

"You're here"

I smiled

"I'm here"
