Unfair
Snow FlowerYunho stared at the doctor, stunned, “Did you just say he has…brain cancer, doctor?”
“Yes, I did.” He nodded.
“What?” Jaejoong asked, still in disbelief. Was this some sort of sick joke? Did his enemies hire some doctor to make him play dead?
“You have brain cancer, Mr. Kim. It means you have a tumor-“
“I know what it means. I’m not stupid!” Jaejoong snapped.
“Jaejoong, calm down.” Yunho held out an arm in front of him.
Jaejoong stood up and threw out his arms in fury, “You can’t just spring something like that on me and not expect me to react! What the is this?!” He grabbed the doctor’s coat and shook him madly, “Tell me you’re ing lying!”
“Jaejoong!” Yunho tried to stop him.
“I’m sorry.” The doctor sadly lowered his head, “I wish I was.”
“Great.” Jaejoong spat and headed for the door. Yunho blocked him, “You can’t just leave.” “Why not?!” Jaejoong snarled. “We have to treat it! At least for ~~~~~~’s sake!” Yunho argued. At your name, Jaejoong softened. He did his best to calm down and hesitantly sat back down.
The doctor leaned forward and pointed to the scan of the brain, “Your tumor is here near the center. That’s not the worst case scenario but still, it’s pretty bad. On top of that, it’s been spread to the side regions. Haven’t you experienced any bad headaches lately?”
*Yes. I’ve had them for a long time.* Jaejoong blankly thought.
“We have to take care of this soon. You should have a surgery.” The doctor pressed.
“…Can I live if I do?” Jaejoong asked.
The doctor paused then replied, “I’ll be truthful, Mr. Kim. The chances of you living are 50%. And in that 50%, the chances of you becoming paralyzed, losing your speech and vision, and all other capabilities are 30%.”
