It was around 5 in the morning. The sky was getting lighter.

Jaejoong’s eyes flew open. He looked around *Where am I?* Jaejoong felt something light and warm in his hand. It felt like it belonged there. Like it was a piece of a missing puzzle. J

aejoong turned his head. He saw you, still sitting on the chair, asleep with your hand in his. *How did we end up holding hands?* Jaejoong wondered, not that he mind one bit. He checked the time. As much as he didn’t want to, he had to go. Jaejoong carefully slipped his hand out of yours. Quietly, so that he wouldn’t wake you up, he pulled on his shirt and buttoned it up. Jaejoong touched his side. It still hurt but not as much. He could handle it. Jaejoong wrote something on a piece of notepad and placed it on the nightstand. He took the blanket and was about to wrap it around your shoulder but stopped.

The blanket was a bloody mess.

Jaejoong thought about it for a second before pulling off his jacket and wrapping it around your shoulder. Subconsciously, you snuggled into the warm, slightly big clothing. Jaejoong slightly smiled. With a last look at you, he left.

3 hours later, you woke up to the bright sunlight hitting your face. You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion and opened your eyes. You remembered the events of last night and sat up.

The bed was empty.
