What the heck.

I actually stressed myself for this kind of message? Seriously? Now I don’t know how I should respond. I already said it. Why does he need to confirm it? Damn. I have written a message about a hundred words long and what do I get? A four worded reply. Great, just ing great. Now I’m stuck up whether to admit that I like him for the second time or just let him figure it out that I’m serious. No matter how tempting the latter is, I wanted everything to be crystal clear between us. So, before sending a message to Woohyun, I read his other messages. Most of them were nonsense, just Woohyun asking what happened to me, and a bunch of “Hey?”

First, I did an imaginary draft of my message for Woohyun in my mind, just to be sure that I don’t get the words wrong. Then, I carefully typed my message.

To: Woohyun

     Uhh.. I left my phone in our house. So, sorry for replying just now. And I'm very serious about what I said earlier. Telling you that was already embarrassing. Imagine my shame for saying it again for the second time. It's really humiliating, no kidding.

I felt the tension building around my whole body again. I am nervous right now, that’s a fact. Will he laugh at me? Will he just ignore my message this time? Will he–

Before I even jump in another conclusion, my phone alerted me that there’s an incoming call from Woohyun.

“Gyu…” his voice sounded like melody in my ears. Yes, I decided to answer his call. It’s now or never guys. Now or never.

“Y-Yeah?” I nervously asked. Unconsciously, I started playing with my folded blanket.

“Well… about yesterday… the thing that I said was a joke wasn’t really a joke.” He said so quickly that’s why I didn’t even understood a thing.

“Pardon?”

“Ah…. I like you too, Gyu. No joke.” He said slowly and I can hear the serious tone in his voice.

I felt like jumping for joy when I heard that. He likes me too! This better not be a dream, I swear if it is I don’t know what I will do to make this real. I muffled my girlish screams by hugging a pillow and burying my face on it. I almost forgot that I’m still on the phone.

“Y-You’re not kidding r-right? What you said… don’t ever t-take that back! I’m capable of m-murdering you if you don’t stick to your words!” I said happily through the phone. I bet my eyes are even smiling too, scratch that, you guys might not even see my eyes anymore right now.
