Your POV

"I don't need you guys to protect me all the time." I say when I walk to lunch while Minho and Myungsoo walk in either sides of me.

While we walk down the hallway, I can feel all eyes on me. I could feel the jealousy from the girls.

"What are they thinking about?" I ask curiously.

"They're jealous." Myungsoo says.

"Don't worry about them." Minho says.

I really don't care about them.

I was still curious to how Minho and Myungsoo had every single class with me.

"Will you guys care to explain how I have every single class with you?" I ask folding my arms.

"Its another vampire thing. Compelling." Minho smiles.

"We persuade someone to listen to us. They have to do what we ask." Myungsoo says.

"So you compelled the counselor for you to have all your classes with me?" I ask.

"Sure." Myungsoo smiles.

"I'm not a baby!" I exclaim then leave. Yes, I'm mad. I don't need protection, I'm 17 years old! I don't need bodyguards...no matter how hot they are. 

When I get to the cafeteria, I see a familiar face.

"Look who it is." I hear.

I just keep walking past him. Then, he pulls me by my hand, which makes me jerk back to him to where my face is an inch from his.

"Tell me why you're here." Gikwang looks deeply into my eyes.

He waits for a moment.

"What?" I ask.

"It's not working." Gikwang says.

"What's not working?" I ask.

"He's trying to compel you." I see Minho and Myungsoo walk in.

"I told you, I don't need you guys watching my every move." I say.

"Awh, so you have a babysitter now? Isn't that quite cute?" Gikwang fakely pouts then laughs.

I roll my eyes.

"We're just protecting her from you." Minho says.

"Why can't I compel her?" Gikwang asks.

"She's different." Myungsoo says.

"I can't read her (mind) either." Gikwang says.

"Like I said, she's different." Myungsoo repeats.

"She smells. So good." Gikwang says while coming closer to me. I'm not so scared, I'm more curious to see what smells so "good" about me.

"Get away from her." Myungsoo's face gets extremely red. I felt like something violent was going to happen.

"Myungsoo." Minho says. Then Myungsoo calms down.

"Gikwang. Don't start something that doesn't need to be started." Minho says.

Gikwang scoffs. Then I feel someone's hand on my wrist.

"Let's go." Myungsoo says while dragging me to his lunch table.

I see Taecyeon and Kris already settled. 

I haven't seen Doojoon since the morning...

"Where's Doojoon?" I ask when we sit down.

"He's done with school. He's working now." Taecyeon says.

"What was up with Gikwang back there?" Kris asks.

"Nothing." Myungsoo says. I could tell he was still angered by what just happened.

"Are you guys not going to eat anything?" I ask.

"We don't need to, remember?" Kris says.
