Chap. 5~
Still With YouThe door softly clicked shut, failing to do its job. The instant it shut Junsu was awake and already pushing himself out of bed. It didn’t take him long to dress in more casual clothing, before making his way down.
“Well, you’re home for once!” Nichkhun teased while he made his way out the back door. Junsu didn’t say anything; he rolled his eyes with a smile and went to living room.
Junsu scanned the room and made his way to where a little body sat. “And how are you doing this evening, Sir Junho?” Junsu asked his lil brother pinching his cheek as he kneeled beside him. “Bad!” he told the elder. “Why?” Junsu asked while he adjusted the stray strands on Junho’s head.
“Sulli and Luna are making wear these weird clothes.” Junho whined while tugging on the ruffles on his sleeves. “They make me look funny and they’re itchy.” He continued with a pout on his face.
“Well, it’s better than wearing this.” Someone spoke up catching Junsu’s attention. He looked up and coming down the stairs came Chansung wearing a somewhat similar outfit to Junho’s except made with bed sheets.
“See, now you look like a handsome prince!” Luna chirped behind him skipping happily.
“Are you going to play with us too, Junsu?” Sulli asked Junsu who was mesmerized by Chansung’s presence. Chansung looked over and their eyes briefly met before Junsu looked away.
“Junsu?” Sulli tugged on his shirt bringing him back to reality.
“Yes, Sulli?”
“Are you going to play?” she asked again with pleading eyes. Junsu brushed the loose strands of hair back to its place before standing up. “Not this time, I think I’ll go help mom in the kitchen. Besides, you don’t want to make your new guest jealous, do you?” Junsu asked as he walked by Chansung, nudging him forward with a sway of hip, causing him to stumble forward.
“Ah you’re right! Come on now Prince Chansung!” Sulli grabbed one of Chansung’s hands while Luna grabbed the other leading him the where Junho was sitting. Chansung just gave the two girls a small smile and followed their lead. As they pulled him, he looked over his shoulder at Junsu’s retreating figure as he disappeared into the kitchen.
Junsu walked into the kitchen and took a seat at the table, “And how was work today, Junsu?” she asked while she mixed the mixture in the bowl.
“Could be better…” was Junsu’s simple answer taking some vegetables and started chopping them.
“Junsu, you know that we’re worried about these late night jobs.” Victoria told the other. “I mean we understand your situation, but we are here for you…”
Junsu stopped his chopping and turned towards Victoria who just looked at him with sad eyes. “I know, but you’ve done a lot for me and Junho, there’s no way I could have you pay for any of the burden that woman left behind.”
“Oh Junsu…” Victoria put her bowl down and hugged the young boy.
The sentimental moment was soon interrupted once Amber and Woo Young came running in from the backyard.
“Mama, is it time to eat?” Woo Young asked making his way to the dining table trying to see what was on top.
“What are we having?” Amber asked following the same position as her brother.
Victoria returned to her bowl and handed it off to Woo Young who started mixing, while Junsu
