There is no thrill the days I am living out my existence. My family is stable, and my school grades are average; so there is no emotional/physical rollercoaster going on with me, sadly.

The thought of death never came up in my head.

“What the hell…” I picked up the slim glass bottle, a pink concoction bubbling inside. It was just there, lying in the middle of the roof. Yes, I like to spend my lunches relaxing on the school’s roof.

The label on the tube read: Potion specified to bring a daring exploit to a brave individual. Warning: Don’t regret; taking this drink will confirm half of the contract.

I didn’t care much whether this beverage was for me or not. Even if it was a prank, I didn’t mind. My throat was extremely parched.

Pulling off the cork cap, I swallowed the liquid. A momentary burning sensation invaded me before it cooled down. It tasted like strawberries, but mixed with the distinctive flavor of carbonated lemon soda. Not bad.

Subsequent to finishing the concoction, I sat down by the railing. It was nice to look up at the clouds after a satisfying drink.

“Aigoo, now what is that?” I stared at the blob of color shooting down from the sky. After the unknown specimen landed, I recognized its features; it looked like a human of some sort.

“Hello Kim Kibum!” The figure headed towards me. “What are you?” I asked, utterly terrified. It looked like a common female, but its weird see-through clumpy scarf was something. “She” wore a short blue dress, a flimsy loose sweater, and “her” hair was short and boyish. Even “her” normal appearing black tights and white boots looked odd. Actually, the stature’s whole outfit was in a weird fashion.

“I’m a demon. The name is Sulli. But I am referred to as a girl here on earth,” She replied with an innocent smile.

“Is this a joke?” I questioned.

“Oh, you accepted the contract, so I’m here to help you accomplish it. And does this look like a joke to you?” She swung out the designed axe she was floating on. Apparently, the axe was some kind of flying device.

“I see you’re serious. So what’s the contract?” I swiped my bangs off my face in sheer annoyance. Class was going to start soon.

“So my job is to help men rid of their “evil souls” and get them back to Hell, where I came from. But I need a human partner to help me. To get the spirits out of the body, love is needed so it disappears. You need to make the person with a bad soul inside them fall in love with you. That way, the person is relieved of their problem, and the spirit goes away. I collect the spirits after you get rid of them.” Sulli explained.

“Sounds interesting…Wait what if I make a lot of people fall in love with me? Chaos will come if they all start coming at me.” I say.

“Don’t worry; I erase the being’s memory of being with you after the evil soul leaves. Most of the time, my magic works and the person shouldn’t be in love with you anymore.” She replies.  

“What if I don’t want to do this?” I cautiously ask.

Sulli smirks, and then waves her axe around a bit. A dark colored collar appears on my neck. I try to pull it off, but it won’t budge. “If you don’t fully accept, that collar will chop your head off,” she tells me.

Now, even if I am bored with my life, I don’t want my head to be cut off. This whole conquest sounds interesting too.

“Fine, I’ll do it.”
