Yuri’s POV

“Are you sure about this?” I asked Seungri one last time on the phone as my car is nearing the restaurant.

“I AM! Trust me. Table No.8 ok!” Seungri reminded.

“Arasso.” I hanged up.

It wasn’t long until the car stopped.

I got out and went and sat at table No. 8.

My palms were sweating.

I wonder how he’ll look like.

Do I look ok?

I tried to calm myself down and started playing with my phone to pass time.

“Ehm.” Someone cleared their throat.

I looked up.

My eyes widened.

“Are you hear for the blind date that Seungri arranged?” he asked politely.

“Ne. My name’s Yuri.” We shook hands.

“I’m Taeyang.” He smiled.

“I know.” I giggled.

While eating we would talk about music and how we got into the industry.

Taeyang seems like a really nice guy.

“So, I heard rumors that you and Minho are dating… Since you’re here, I guess it’s not true.”

I smiled weakly “Ne.”

“I heard that you and Dara unnie were dating.”

“Oh! Noona, aniyo!” he laughed.

Time went but really quick.

There was not a single awkwardness between us.

We just connected.

“It’s getting late. Let me drive you home.” He offered.

“Ani, it’s ok.”

“I insist.” He showed me his aegyo.

“Aigo, arasso.” I giggled and we got in his car.

“AHAHAHA!” I couldn’t stop laughing as Taeyang danced to 2ne1’s song, “Fire” which was playing on the radio.

It wasn’t long until we reached my dorm.

“Gamsamhamnida for tonight. I really had fun, and thanks for tonight!” I waved before getting inside.

Once the elevator opened I was confronted by Jessica whose arms were folded on her chest.

“YOU WENT ON A BLIND DATE!?” She screamed at me.

I nervously laughed.

“What is wrong with you?” Jessica asked.

“Nothing.”

“Then why would you go on a blind date with Taeyang?” she crossed her arms.

“Ugh! Didn’t we already talk about this?” I finally huffed out.

And yes, Jessica knows exactly why I’m doing this.

“Aigo, Yuri ah… How would this prove anything?”

“Minho has 5 chances … or else its game over.”

There was silence.

“He’s on to something. He’s been asking Krystal about it too.”

I twisted my lip, “He shouldn’t know ok? Or else, that would ruin everything.” I reminded.

“I know.”

Minho’s POV

The practice with Krystal went great.

Though she’s been acting kind of awkward now.

She seems nervous.

Could it be possible that she likes me…. Again?!

“Omo! Omo! Omo!” Key jumped out of his bed and started jumping.

“Wae?”

“Sooyoung just texted me!”

“AIGO!” Jonghyun threw a pillow at him before covering his face with a pillow.

It’s past midnight and everyone in the room is sleep deprived.

Soon there was silence and I slowly drifted to sleep.

“Maybe, it wasn’t our time… But I do know that we’re destined to be together and that faith would find a way to bright us back together… someday.” I spoke in between my breath.

“YOU SAID YOU WOULDN’T HURT HIM! THAT WAS THE DEAL!” Yuri shouted.

“Please! Don’t hurt anymore innocent people. I’ll do whatever you want! See, you already have me!” I heard Yuri pleading.

“Yuri!” I screamed.

I was woken up by four man shaking me.

“MINHO! WAKE UP!”

I quickly got up, trying to catch my breath.

“It was just a dream. You were having a nightmare.” They explained.

I looked around and nodded so they wouldn’t worry anymore.

Why am I sweating? Why am I crying?

I quickly wiped my tears away and took out my phone.

“Yuri ah?”…”It’s me, Minho.”…”Can we meet up?”…”Ok, I’ll be at the café near your dorm in 5 minutes!”…”Bye.” I quickly hung up and got dressed.

~At The Café~

I spotted Yuri sitting down on a table far away from people to see.

I smiled and sat in front of her.

I stared at her for a while.

“Uhh, Minho, you wanted to tell me something?” she asked.

I could tell that she hasn’t gotten much sleep.

That kinda made me feel guilty cause I made her meet me in a café so early in the morning.

“Yeah… you see….” I cleared my throat.

“I had this dream… and it’s a really weird dream.” I started off.

Yuri looked at me seriously so I continued.

“In my dream. I met a… genie.” Yuri’s face expression didn’t change.

I bit my bottom lip before continuing.

“And in my dream, we both fell in love with each other. The genie saved me from all sorts of trouble. She even sacrificed her own life just to protect me. In the end I wanted to protect her, and the only way I could do that was to let her go.”

Yuri frowned, “What does that have to do with me?”

I sighed out before coming clean.

“That genie… was you.”

Yuri looked confused then she looked at me straight in the eye.

“Well it is just a dream.” Then she smiled.

I laughed nervously… “Yeah.”

“I mean… ME! A GENIE! Ha!”

I laughed weakly.

“You’re my dongsaeng and I’m your noona! Us falling for each other would probably never happen.” she pointed out.

My heart ached as she spoke out those words.

“Y-yeah…” I tried to smile.

“Something wrong?” she looked worried.

“Ani.”

“Arraso. Krom, if that’s all you have to say then I guess we better get going. This restaurant is getting pretty crowded.”

I nodded and we both walked outside.

I dropped her to her dorm first.

“Don’t worry too much kiddo. It’s just a dream.” She smiled.

“Ne!” I tried to sound happy.

“Anyeong!” she waved before getting inside.

I slowly walked home with a broken heart.

Jessica’s POV

“Unnie! He asked me about it yesterday too!” Krystal sounded worried.

“Just play it cool and get your act together.” I advised.

“I’ll try but I don’t know until when I can keep this up.” She sighed.

“You can do it! Oh wait, I’ll call you back later, Yuri ah’s back. Soojung, fighting!” I hanged up the phone before she could reply.

“Yuri ah! How did it go? What did he tell you?”

Yuri looked upset as she slumped on the couch.

We were the only one in our dorm as everyone else went to the gym.

“He told me about his dream…”

“OMO! And what did you say?”

“I said that Minho and I would never fall in love with each other in real life.” She quickly hid her face with a pillow.

I rubbed her back.

“Aigo Yuri ah… Do you really have to do this?”

“Ne… You know I do…”

I deeply sighed out.

I knew she had to do this, but it’s hurting her way too much and I’m sure it’s hurting Minho too.

Poor Minho.

He must be so confused right now.

I mean I would be too if I was him.

But then again, this is the only way.

~RING~

“Yoboseyo?” Yuri answered.

“BWOH! JIGUM? ARASSO!” she quickly got off the couch and closed her phone.

“C’mon Sica! He’s already down stairs!” she quickly grabbed my hand and dragged me to the elevator.

As soon as we stepped out Yuri quickly got inside the car and so did I.

“It’s nice to see you again oppa!” I smiled as he looked at the rear view mirror.

“You two girls.” He spoke calmly before he drove off.
