Yuri’s POV

As hard as I tried, I couldn’t fall asleep so I decided to have a walk by the beach.

I sat down on the sand and just started at the beautiful view that lay before me.

“Umma… Appa… I really miss you…” I whispered.

I didn’t notice that my tears were starting to fall.

I hugged myself tightly as a cool breeze came rushing in.

“Tissue?” A manly voice appeared.

I looked at who was offering me tissue. My heart stopped.

“Minho?” I quickly got up and dried my tears.

“What are you doing here?”

“Well… Sooyoung invited Key and Key invited all the SHINee members.” He explained.

“I see…” was all I could say. “When did you get here?”

“A few hours ago. Everyone was sleeping so we just crept in quietly.” He smiled.

“Chincha? But I don’t think this house is big enough for all of us.”

“So you want me to leave?” he asked innocently.

“ANI! I mean… aniyo. Ofcourse you could stay. It’s just that there may not be enough rooms. Where are you gonna sleep?”

Minho rubbed the back of his head “Molla.”

“Well… There’s two beds in my room. You could sleep on the other if you want.” I offered.

“Jongmal? Gomawo!” his eyes sparkled.

I nodded and we both sat down on the sand.

“So, what brings you out here in the middle of the night?”

“I couldn’t sleep. Neo?” I admitted.

“Same. Mianhe but I overheard you earlier…” he started off.

I looked down. “It’s ok. I just really miss them.”

Minho nodded.

“A-CHU!” I sneezed.

“OMO. Mian.” I quickly apologized.

“Bless you!” he smiled. “We better get inside before you catch a cold.”

I nodded as we both walked back inside the house but then we heard footsteps.

“Shhh…” Minho signaled me to keep quiet.

I nodded but then I accidentally stepped on a packet of crisps.

“Yuri ah?” another manly voice appeared.

Minho quickly hid as I walked over to who was calling me.

“Oh! Taeyang, what are you doing here?” I acted innocent.

“Looking for you. I went to check in if you were ok but you weren’t in your room.”

“Oh. Mianhe, I was just taking a walk.” I apologized but then he suddenly hugged me.

I stayed still as he my hair “You got me worried! Don’t do that again.”

“Ne… jongmal Mianhe.” I apologized yet again before he sent me off to my room.

I didn’t know where Minho hid but he’ll probably get to bed soon.

Minho’s POV

“Oh! Taeyang, what are you doing here?” Yuri spoke calmly.

“Looking for you. I went to check in if you were ok but you weren’t in your room.”

“Oh. Mianhe, I was just taking a walk.” She apologized but then he suddenly hugged her.

My heart was aching but there wasn’t anything I could do.

 “You got me worried! Don’t do that again.”

“Ne… jongmal Mianhe.” She apologized yet again before they went upstairs together.

As soon as there was no one around I hid from under the couch.

“Aigoo…” I dusted myself off.

Onew hyung couldn’t make it for this vacation.

I bet Key is with Sooyoung and Jonghyun is with Jessica.

Taemin has already passed out on the other huge couch.

And all that’s left is me.

“Well… Yuri did offer the other bed on her room.” I smiled to myself before getting up.

I walked as quietly as I can, trying not to wake anyone up.

I saw an open room at the 2^nd floor.

It must be Yuri’s.

I slowly took a peek and there she was, sitting on the bed by the window.

“Hey… I thought you’d be asleep.” I whispered as I slowly walked in.

“Still not sleepy.” She smiled lazily.“Is that bed ok for you?”

“Yeah. Ofcourse!” I walked towards the bed and sat down.

I was already settled down in my pajamas because Taemin and I were planning on sleeping on separate couches in the living room but being here is much more comfortable.

~Flashback~

“Minho… are you ok?” Jonghyun asked as I gave him back his phone after looking at the group photo Jessica sent.

“No.” I honestly spoke.

The photo is still printed in my mind.

They all seem so happy.

I should be happy too, right?

And TOP is there to protect Yuri. He wouldn’t let anything bad happen to her.

By my heart is still unease.

Right after Key’s shoot I quickly ran up to him.

“HYUNG!” I panted as I reached him.

“Calm down dongsaeng! What’s up?” he asked.

“Beach house… Sooyoung… Let’s go!” was all I could say in between my breath.

Key smirked.

“Yuri’s there too isn’t she?” Key smiled mischievously.

“Would there be any other reason for me to go? C’mon jebaaaaaaaaaal!” I showed him my aegyo which, I don’t usually do.

“Kyopta! Arasso… Right after we wrap this video we can go.”

“NOMU NOMU NOMU NOMU KAMSAMHAMNIDA!” I hugged him before walking back to the trailer.

~End of Flashback~

Yuri lay down with her back facing towards me and her facing the window.

“Are you ok?” I asked.

I don’t know why but I always feel like I need to make sure she’s ok.

Like I need to protect her.

“Ofcourse.” She turned around to face me this time. “Are you?”

“Ne.” I smiled back.

I feel more relaxed now.

Knowing that she's safe.

But until when does she have to hide her feelings for me?

I'm still waiting for the right time to confront her.

I sighed before slowly drifting to sleep.

~The Next Morning~

“YAH! WAKE UP! WAH …OMO!” I heard a girly voice.

I slowly opened my eyes to see who was screaming so early in the morning.

“MINHO YAH? What are you doing in Yuri’s room?” she asked.

“She offered me this bed. It’s much better than sleeping in the couch so I took it.” I smiled.

I looked at Yuri and so did she.

Yuri was still fast asleep.

“Well… breakfast is ready so come down as soon as possible.” She glared at me before throwing a pillow at Yuri.

“YAH!” Yuri groaned but went back to sleep.

I chuckled as Jessica left and went straight to the bathroom.

“Yuri ah… The sun is already shining… wakey wakey.” I whispered softly as her eyes flickered open.

“Oh. Gomawo.” She smiled.

If only I could wake up to seeing her every day, I would never have a bad day.

Aigoo.

“Breakfast is ready downstairs. I’ll wait there.”

“Ne.” she smiled as she slowly got up.

I left her in the room but as I walked down stairs I bumped into Taeyang and TOP on the way down.

“Minho?! Since when did you get here?” They both yelled.

“Erm, last night with Key.”

Why are they both shocked?

It’s like they don’t want me here.

But I still flashed them a smile as I carried on walking downstairs but the two just stayed there.

What has gotten in to them?

“Good morning everyone!” I greeted as we got seated down.

“Someone’s happy.” Taemin groaned.

“What’s up with you?” I asked.

“My back is aching.” He complained and I just meronged him.

Soon everyone was downstairs but there was an awkward atmosphere in the air.

“Guys! My uncle is bringing his yacht here later. How about we spend the whole day there touring the islands?” Sooyoung smiled as she broke the silence.

“YES!” all of us said together.

~After breakfast~

“It’s here! Are you guys ready?” she screamed.

All of us went downstairs with a small hand carry and lined up.

“NE!”

“Good. So what are you guys waiting for?” she led the way to her back porch where a beautiful and HUGE yacht was waiting for us.

As soon as we got settled down and the yacht started moving I spotted TOP hyung alone.

“Hyung.” I smiled and sat next to him.

“Ne?” he seemed as calm as always.

“Why didn’t you tell me that you were coming here with Yuri?” I asked.

“I didn’t know I needed your permission for everything.”

I was taken back by his answer.

“What’s wrong with you?” I was kind of ticked off now.

“Nothing. I’m perfectly fine. Why don’t you go check on where Yuri is? Taeyang isn’t shy to showing his feelings.” He adviced.

I huffed before standing up and looking for Yuri.

TOP was right. She was with Taeyang.

But then what is this I see?

Why is he putting his hands on Yuri’s thighs?!
My blood was boiling up.

I quickly ran up to them and pushed him off.

“What do you think you’re doing? Touching Yuri like that. Don’t you have manners?” I yelled.

Taeyang glared at me “What I do to her is none of your business!”

I clenched my fist.

He’s really testing my patience.

It was long until we were throwing punches at each other.

“STOP IT YOU TWO!” Yuri screamed.

But we couldn’t just calm down that easily.

Taeyang accidentally elbowed Yuri causing her to lose conscience. “YUL!” I screamed.

For a split second I was caught off guard and Taeyang pushed me into the control room.

I landed on some switches which immediately started making noises.

“LOOK WHAT YOU’VE DONE!” he screamed.

“Me?! You started it!” I yelled back.

“AHHHHH! WHY ARE WE SINKING?!” I suddenly heard Sooyoung scream.

Her uncle quickly  came in and tried to fix things but it was too late.

“We must have hit a rock. The water level inside the boat is rising.” He warned.

“EVERYBODY! GO TO THE STARBOARD! THE EMERGENCY BOAT SHOULD BE READY. PALLI!” he announced on the megaphone.

“Yuri!” was the first thing that came into my mind.

I quickly rushed back to where Yuri passed out and carried her.

By the time I got out the water level was already up until my chest.

“MINHO! YURI! PALLI!” I could hear voices calling us out but it was hard to see where it was coming from.

The water level continued rising and rising until both Yuri and I were underwater.
