Minho’s POV

“Yuri…?” I gasped out.

She just looked at me then smiled. “Annyeong Minho-shi.” She bowed.

Minho-shi? Why is she suddenly using honorifics?

“Anyeong Yuri unnie!” Krystal bowed.

“Oh! Soojung! Jessica unnie’s been looking for you. She’s at the cafeteria with the rest of the members.” Yuri smiled.

“Ah, gomawo. I’ll leave you two alone.” Krystal excused herself and left.

I couldn’t help but stare.

So Yuri is real… So it’s not a dream!

I quickly hugged her.

“Uh- Minho-shi… What are you doing?” she asked trying to let go from my hug.

“Yuri… What’s wrong? Aren’t you happy to see me again?” I asked with my voice full of life.

She looked at me weirdly.

“Nothing’s wrong… and I see you EVERY DAY. What’s wrong with YOU?” she started backing off.

Why does she look scared?

“Noona! Minho bumped his head earlier… So he still can’t think straight.” Jonghyun explained.

I didn’t notice him approach us.

“Ohhh… Are you ok?” She asked worriedly.

“I…I’m fine… are you?” I asked.

“Of course. I think you should rest.” She gave me an odd smile before walking off.

I just stood there, expressionless.

“MINHO-YAH! I can’t believe you just hugged Yuri-ah like that!” Onew scolded.

“Wae? She’s my girlfriend!” I protested.

All the SHINee members burst out laughing.

“Bwoh? Why are you all laughing?” I asked seriously.

“Hyung! You definitely hit your head HARD!” Taemin tried to regain back his energy from the laughing fit.

I narrowed my eyes brows together.

“PABO YAH! She’s your noona Minho!” Key pointed out.

“So?”

“Aigo. You’re still in your dreamland. C’mon dude, we have to finish practicing “Juliette”… We’re going to shoot the music video tomorrow, remember?” Jonghyun asked.

What? We already debuted!

Last time I checked we were still trainees.

A lot of things really did change.

I looked to my side to see Yuri laughing with the other So Nyuh Shi Dae noona’s.

~Later that afternoon~

“Thanks for the lift hyung!” I waved Onew goodbye before I headed inside my house.

It’s still the same, even the inside.

But then I smell something…

I went straight to the kitchen.

“UMMA… APPA!” I shouted.

“Oh, Minho yah. You’re home! How was your day?” Appa asked as he patted my shoulder.

My jaw dropped.

My appa… Minwoo… Is here right in front of me!

“What happened son? You look a little pale. Are you not feeling well?” Umma approached me the touched my forehead.

“A-ani…” I stuttered then I hugged them both.

I’m so happy to see my family together.

Yuri’s POV

“Chincha?” Sunny asked.

She was roommate.

“Ne, he just hugged me out of the blue!” I explained the whole Minho incident that happened earlier.

“Well I heard that he’s been acting strange ever since that fall in the basement.” Sunny laid down her bed.

“Hmm, I see.” I murmured as I too lay down.

"But his kind of cute don't you think?" Sunny giggled.

"Aish, stop being a e!" I threw a pillow at her.

"It's true! And Minho acts more mature than you do so he's not considered as my dongsang!" 

I meronged Sunny and so did she.

“Aigo. Get some sleep Yuri ah! It’s a big day tomorrow.” Sunkyu reminded.

“Ne!” I smiled before closing my eyes.

~The Next Morning~

“Ani, you have to move left THEN right.” Jessica was going over our dance moves with Tiffany.

Everyone was exhausted. We’ve been practicing for hours.

“Lemme just get water.” I got out and headed for the cafeteria where I met a sweaty Minho.

“Oh Yuri…shi.” He looked surprised.

“Annyeonghaseyo!” I bowed before I grabbed the water from the vending machine.

He stared at me, which made me feel really awkward.

“Wae?” I asked.

“A-aniyo…” He looked away, but then zoomed out in an instant.

“Anyeong Yuri-ah!” Donghae bowed.

“Oh, Oppa!” I bowed back.

“Minho yah!” Donghae shook Minho who gave off a forced smile.

“Dongsang! Are you ok? I heard about the fall.” Donghae sat next to Minho.

“Ah, ne…” Minho scratched the back of his head.

I smiled at both of them before heading out but I was stopped by Minho.

“Oh!” Donghae gasped but I didn’t mind.

“Wae? Is there something wrong?” I asked.

“Yuri-shi, Wait for me at the entrance later.” He smiled.

I nodded “Arasso.” Then walked away.

What’s gotten into him?

He’s never like this.

He’s usually really quiet and he never really talks to anyone other than s.

And he’s active all of a sudden!

Could it be just because of the fall?

I shook my head before entering the practice room.

~Later That Day~

I ran as fast as I could to the entrance.

We had extra practice time and I couldn’t excuse myself out.

I spotted Minho leaning against the gate, looking at his watch.

“OMO! MIANHE!” I quickly bowed.

Minho just smiled.

“I’ll walk you back to your dorm.” He offered.

Well this would be awkward but then I made him wait here.

I guess I have no choice. “Ok!” I smiled back.

Halfway through the walk Minho broke the silence.

“Noona?” He seemed doubtful.

“Ne?”

“How are you?” he asked seriously.

“I’m doing good.” I answered awkwardly.

Why is he always asking how I am?

Then he suddenly stopped and took out something from his pocket.

“Do you remember this?” he showed me a necklace.

“Um, It’s the necklace you’ve been wearing since you were an SM trainee. Wae?”

“That’s it?” he seemed desperate.

“Yeah? Wae, is there something else to that necklace?” I asked.

Minho stared at it for a while before smiling.

“Ani. It’s alright.”

Minho’s POV

“Thank you for walking me back!” Yuri waved before heading inside.

So Yuri doesn’t remember anything!

Or maybe because the whole necklace incident was just a figment of my imagination.

Either ways, this is a good thing!

I get to have a fresh start with Yuri!

But what if she doesn’t like me?
Ani, think positive Choi Minho.

You both were destined for each other!

She has to like you… right?

~At the SHINee dorm~

“MINHO! We saw you with Yuri noona earlier!” Key shouted.

“Are you still delusional? She’s not your girlfriend!” he smacked my head.

“AIGO! I know she’s not!” I rubbed the back of my head.

“Then why are you hanging out with her?” Jong came out of nowhere.

“Can’t I be friends with my noona?” I was starting to get annoyed.

Why are they all ganging up on me because I’m with Yuri?

“It’s not that, it’s just because, you’re usually… anti-social.” Taemin spoke carefully.

Well that part is true.

But after everything I’ve been through in my “dream”, a lot of things have changed.

I used to be the quiet guy.

I wouldn’t talk to any other SM artist unless they approach me first.

And the only people who I’m comfortable with are my members.

“People change. Plus, I have an image to build up since were debuting soon.” I made an excuse.

They all nodded. Phew, well at least they bought it.

I’m still unsure as to whether or not I should tell them all about my dream.

They’ll probably think that I’ve gone insane.

“I’m tired; I’m going to take a nap.” I excused myself and lay on my bed.

I took the necklace out.

“It seems like destiny has given Yuri and I another chance. This time, with a far less complicated life. That’s gotta be a good sign… right?” I smiled to myself before closing my eyes.
