A sport car stopped in front of a huge building in the middle of the busy city. The driver released a heavy sigh while she fondling with a bouquet of flower in her hands. She tapped the steering wheel impatiently and countinued with her sighs.
For some reason she felt really nervous for the first time in her life. Maybe because this is her first date or maybe she's scared of her date. Nah, that can't be. She's not scared of her, or that's what she'd thought.
Flashback
"We have to construct a perfect plan for this investigation since our main suspect is a high ranked officer. Once we get caught we are done"
The oldest one said seriously while her hands quickly grabbed a pen and sketch something on a piece of paper.
"So, there are 3 places we need to investigate. One is his office....." at this the girl who's eating next to her coughed slightly
"Second is his lawyer's files and lastly, his house"
"Why did we need to investigate his office? There's no way he keep anything illegal or risky in a police HQ" the youngest one among them spoke
"Here is his secret. He likes to use some kind of reverse phychology"
"Reverse phychology?"
"Yeah, for an example people tend to keep what's important to them in a safest place they think off,right? But if what Sooyoung say is true, he'll keep them in his office. People will never suspect anything if he did something illegal there because that place full of government enforcers" Taeyeon reasoned
Yoona nodded like a 10 years old kid and continued to stuffing herself with the potato chips she found after her quick exploration in Sooyoung's kitchen.
"I'll search any evidence in his house. For his lawyer, i want both of you to think of a plan to find his files"
"What about his office then?"
"We'll go together, at night. I need all of us to be there"
The shikshins nodded simultaneously at Taeyeon's order, still stuffing themselves with their food.
"So, any plan yet? Except eating?" Taeyeon grabbed some chips from Yoona's bowl. Her bestfriends habit has rubbing on her somehow.
"I'm thinking of breaking into her office but it's too risky since the building has high security system, especially at night. Their system even more tight than the Police HQ"
Sooyoung said, ignoring Yoona's dolphin squel who's trying to save her chips from Taeyeon's wandering hand.
"How about you asking her then? You guys are friends, didn't you?" replied Taeyeon after she'd meronged at Yoona
"We're not friends, Taeyeon. We are acquintances. Still, i don't think she will give me something confidential belongs to one of her important client"
Sooyoung even flinched a little when she heard Taeyeon called Yuri and her as friends.
"I have an idea. But i don't know it will works with you, unnie" Yoona said after she had make sure her chips are save.
The two older girls looked at the younger one with curious eyes. Yoona always has good ideas but most of them were literally too extreme which make her unnies freaked out, always.
End flashback
And she was right. Yoona's plan is to break into Kwon Yuri's office in a broad daylight while she has to distract Yuri. Yoona will search for any evidences there during Yuri's absent.
So she had called Yuri for the first time and asked her to have a lunch in a cafe nearby. That's not a problem for the Choi Sooyoung actually. But the problem began when Yuri had misunderstood it as a date, as in a freaking date.
The woman rubbed her suddenly dizzy head. Just for this date, she had asked Siwon about any suitable restaurants and many dating tips. She also has wearing a new formal suit that Taeyeon picked up yesterday just for this date.
It's makes her wondering why did she get along with it anyway, it's not that she wanted to impress her or anything.
"Ah, screw this. Just get done with it"
After she inhaled 2-3 deep breaths, she stepped out of her car and heading to Yuri's office. Along the way, she keep playing around with her flowers to release her nervousness without realizing other people glances.
"Good afternoon, can i see Miss Kwon?" she asked a young girl which she assumed is Yuri's secretary
"Good afternoon. Your name,...." the woman trailled off after she lifted her head for her paper
"Uhmm, miss? Are you alright?"
Sooyoung waved her hand in front of the girl since she didn't even blink nor stop staring at her which make she felt uncomfortable.
"Ehem, what's going on here?"
A woman in her 50's with an elegant dress stepped out from Yuri's office. Her face has a really similar feature with someone which she can't figure out who.
"Hi, Sooyoung. I'm sorry for making you wait" another voice diverted her attention from the previous woman
"Make her wait? Where are you going?"
"I have a date, umma" Yuri happily answered
"....What's your name, young lady?" the women somehow slightly shocked by the revelation and turned back to the poor cop
"I'm Det. Choi Sooyoung, Ma'am. I'm here to pick up Yuri for a lunch.."
"Date... for a lunch date"
"Yeah, for a date"
-cricket-
Sooyoung unexpectedly looked cool eventhough she's a mess inside because of the intimidating woman, who has like 10 times of Yuri's scary aura around her. She keep staring at Sooyoung up and down like she want to analyze her all over.
"Hhmmm, i'd never thought you have a nice taste Yuri" her scary aura suddenly vanished along with her frown while she smile widely
"Umma! We are going out as friends"
Sooyoung nodded with this statement, somehow puzzled by the her sudden change of attitude.
"I, Madam Kwon, approved you, Choi Sooyoung as my lovable and scary daughter's partner and soon-to-be lover"
The previously scary woman playfully patted Sooyoung's head while her blushing daughter tried to stop her mother from embarrasing her any longer.
"Uh-oh, eh?" this indeed puzzled the poor girl more
"Bye, umma! We're already late for our date" Yuri pulled Sooyoung over toward the lift direction since her mother won't stop teasing them
"Bye, honey! Just go have fun and don't bother to come home early!" her mom yelled before the couple go into the lift which make Yuri's face blushed heavily
The older woman sighed happily after her daughter disappeared from the her view. She turned back to head to her office next to her daughter's office.
"Eh? Since when did Yuri put a statue in front of her office? It's looks like a real human!"
