A tall girl with a dirty coat pacing around the empty and hollow hallway. There're either nurses or doctors passing by but she paid no mind to them. One of her bestfriend is missing and another one is badly injured. If it's not someone she knew, she definitely back to her desk and investigating it as usual.

But it's Taeyeon, her longest bestfriend. Someone she already think of as family. Both of them including Yoona are orphans. They only have each other to turn into. Talking about Yoona, where is she? Where had she gone to? Did she knew who's hurting Taeyeon? She felt so complicated that she can't think straight.

"Sooyoung!"

A high-pitched voice broke her thoughts. A blonde girl seen running towards her.

"Jessica? Where's Tiffany? "

After she had sent Taeyeon to the emergency room, she tried to call Tiffany but the heiress didn't answered. So she called someone she knows closest to Tiffany. Jessica. But she never thought the girl will come here.

"I tried to tell her but whenever I mentioned Taeyeon's name, she shut me out to the point we almost quarrelled"

"I'm sorry Jessica. As someone closest to Taeyeon, I thought at least she deserved to know"

"What happened? Taeyeon had an accident?"

"I won't called it an accident. From her injuries, I guess she got beaten"

"What?! By whom?!" the usually aloof girl looked shocked from the revelation

"I don't know. She's a bodyguard. It was expected but that person really left her to die. I don't think it's about her job anymore"

"Sooyoungie!" a more deep voice interrupted them as Jessica want to reply

As soon as that, a body crashed into Sooyoung, giving her a tight hug

"You're not hurt, aren't you? I tried to come here as fast as I can"

"Yuri" the cop was too shocked to reply, another guest she didn't expected

"H-how do you know?"

"From your annoying partner when I visited the HQ. He said you're at the hospital. I can't believe he even thought I'm interested in him" she grumbled while still didn't let go of the cop from their hug.

"Ah, Siwon. Who's else"

"Ehem" the blonde-haired one coughed. Annoyed by the fact she feels like the third wheel and then got ignored nonetheless.

"Ah, Miss Jung. I'm sorry, didn't see you there"

"Just Jessica, Miss Kwon. No need for the formalities here" she smiled but everyone can see it was a fake one

"Likewise. Just call me Yuri" the lawyer gives the girl a fake smile one of her own

The cop shivered from the sudden coldness emitted from the two. It seems like they have started another starring match continues from the last dinner. Even the hospital's staffs distancing themselves away when they stumbled across the 'death' match.

"Uhm.. " she spoke, tried to ease up the tension "Guys, we are at the hospital " she reasoned, no one replied "Guys, Yoona is missing"  no reaction 

"Guys, I'm getting married"  "What?!" two voices echoed, enough to scare away the nearby people

Sooyoung, startled by the sudden shouts plus a, wait no, two. Two deathly stares shot holes through her, can't help but shuttered

"I-I'm kidding. Both of you didn't r-replied"

She sighed in relief as the two glares soften "I think my life just flashed in front of me"  she mused

The two girls shying away as they realised their childish act

 "Sorry" Jessica only nodded 

“Are you okay? Why are you bleeding?”

The lawyer, intentionally or not ‘checking’ for injuries at the cop’s body, as in opened Sooyoung’s coat and her shirt’s buttons.

“I-I’m fine, Yuri. This is Taeyeon’s blood” she blushed, tried to be polite as possible prying herself away from the lawyer’s grasp

“Taeyeon? What happened?”

“She had an accident” at this Jessica looked at the cop

“A car crash?”

“Yeah. Maybe a hit and run”

“That’s so bad. Is there anything I can help?”

“Uhrm….” she froze, she already lied to her to begin with

“It is. You can help by talking to Tiffany” the silent Jessica suddenly voiced out “That’s for interrupted us before” her evil inner side thought

“Why is that?” Yuri almost fumed, maybe mad because her moment with the cop being interrupted

“Jessica talked to Tiffany but she won’t listened. Maybe she would listen to you”

“Yeah. Apparently she’s mad at Taeyeon because she claimed her Taetae cheated on her”

“What? Taeyeon is not like that? Did they even dated in the first place?”

“I had no idea but she won’t listened to me whenever I said your name or Taeyeon’s” the ice princess shrugged. Back to her aloof self

“Okay, I will talk to her” Yuri said

“Huh?” both Sooyoung and Jessica seem suprised when the lawyer agreed to their lame reason but they nodded off anyway

“Just take care of yourself, okay” the lawyer said before leaving the duo. Not before gave Sooyoung a kiss. On the cheek. Sooyoung blushed again while Jessica not so secretly, rolling her eyes

After Yuri had disappeared around the corner, Jessica looked at the cop “So, tell me. Why you said to me Taeyeon got beaten but told her otherwise”

“I can’t tell her the truth, Sica. I think this, involved Yoona”

At first, Jessica fluttered when she heard her old nickname but alerted back when she heard Yoona’s name.

“Is this.... about her clan?”

“Yeah. Except for me and Taeyeon, only you knows who Yoona is. I can’t let someone else got involved in this and be like Taeyeon”

“Huh, so it’s okay for me to get hurt but not your girlfriend”

“Jessica, this is not the right time”

*sigh* “Okay, what's you want me to do?”

The cop glanced around them, then dragged the girl to a more secluded corner.

“Okay, I want you to find Yoona. She had disappeared when we found Taeyeon”

“You had any ideas where she goes?”

“I don’t know. I hope she didn’t do anything stupid. You know what had happened the last time when someone bullied Taeyeon” when she said ‘bullied’ it was more like the bully almost got killed by none other than the Im Yoona

“You are right. Wait, I think you left out something else here. Yoona won’t appeared here suddenly to visit you guys”

“Can I tell you later?”

“Nope. If you want my help, you have to tell me the truth”

“…….”

“…….All of them”

“Grrr, fine. Yoona’s said clan is in trouble. We suspected someone else had disguised as her clan members and killed many influential people”

“Wow, thats....huge. Had you find any lead?”

“Yeah. Mr Oh”

“Tiffany’s father?! But he is your boss. A police chief!”

“shhh, lower your voice Jessica”

“Sorry”

“As I said. He is our only lead but we didn’t think of him as the main suspect. We barely got any proof. So as you go to find Yoona, I’ll continue our investigation”

“But, Soo. It’s dangerous. You saw what had happened to Taeyeon. What if they got to you too?”

“She won’t if I helped”

Suddenly another voice interrupted them, again.

A figure appeared behind them "Yuri?" "Yuri!"

“How much did you heard?” Sooyoung started become nervous, she can’t believe she let her guard down. What if they hurt Yuri too? What if..? What if?

“Relax, Soo. I put a bug in your coat. No one else heard you”

“Damn it” she cursed

“Are you didn't trust me that much? Because I’m Mr Oh’s lawyer?” the black beauty’s voice hoarse out as her eyes moisten

“No, no. It’s not like that, Yuri. I’m just afraid”

“Afraid of what?! Afraid I’ll sell you out to Mr Oh?!” her voice started to rise

“What?! No! I’m scared what if they hurt you too?! I can’t let you get hurt because of me”

“So, it’s fine if you got hurt?! You think I’ll be fine if you got hurt instead?! That’s it?!”

“Guys, guys. Stop the shouting, will you! You guys already alerted this whole damn place!”

Jessica, already got enough with the lovers? quarrel risen up her dolphin-like voice. She can’t counted how many time she rolled her eyes seeing the drama unveiled in front of her. She always enjoys drama. Just not this kind of drama. The aches she felt didn’t helped it either.

“Jessica, you shouted too” suddenly calm Yuri said

“Yeah, Sica. Sorry by the way” Sooyoung said, already realizing her mistake

“Stop calling her that”

“Huh?” Yuri’s word puzzled her

“Your ‘nickname’..” the lawyer said while mimicking a weird gesture

“Sica?”

“Yeah, that. You can only call mine”

“…….” Sooyoung, again, flustered

“You can call me Yul” she said, smiling shyly

“Ugh, that’s it you lovebirds! Yuri, you can join us. Help Sooyoung. I will find Yoona. Bye”

“What had just happened?”

The cop only shrugged “Is she jealous? Or simply just annoyed?” she wondered but afraid to figure out why
