Author's POV
"Yah! Don't push me you midget!"
"Don't be such a scaredy cat then, and stop calling me midget!"
After fighting for couple of minutes in the bathroom, the duo heading to their table with much force from Taeyeon since the shikshin attempted to escape the date she planned beforehand.
She should knew earlier that asking Taeyeon out will only resulting Tiffany following behind and the eye-smile girl pretty much will ask Jessica too.
The duo arrived at the table with an awkward smile and sensing an unknown creepy atmosphere emitted from the girls.Yoona only shrugged when her unnies glancing at her questionly.
"I didn't knew you two are close friends" Tiffany's spoke sweetly till give other occupants creeps especially Sootae
"Uhm, i'm sorry Pani-Miss if i unintentionlly keeping my relationship with Sooyoung from you and your father" Taeyeon calmly answered
"That's right, Tiffany-shi. We didn't intended to keep it as a secret from you"
Tiffany nodded slightly after stared down at the two friends, maybe as a sign of they're forgiven. The girl hated being kept a secret by the people close to her, especially if it was from her Taetae.
"At first i'm shocked to know Taengoo works as your bodyguard and Sooyoungie works with your father. It is a small world, eh?"
Jessica chuckled slightly, somehow missed the discomfort face from Tiffany's and Yuri's face when she called Sooyoung and Taeyeon by their nickname.
"And you Yoongie, what are you doing now by the way?"
"I-i have a business in Japan. Now having a vacation"
"Yoong? I thought your name is Im Hana?" Yuri asked, slightly puzzled including Tiffany
"My korean name is Im Yoona, Hana is my japanese name"
She answered swiftly while her two unnies released a relief sigh.
Sooyoung and Taeyeon holding their breath when Jessica called Yoona's name. It's not a good thing when you have a gang leader, a lawyer and the chief police officer's daughter in one table.
-cough-
"So, enough with chitchat. Let's order our dinner" Sooyoung quickly interrupted, afraid of the lawyer's incoming questions
"We have ordered, unnie. You guys spent too much time making out in the bathroom" Yoona smirking teasingly
She only heard the first sentence, ignoring the teasing while Taeyeon blushed. She's about to retort to her dongsaeng's teasing but the sudden chills and glares she feels from an eye-smiled girl silented her.
"Ehem. Uhmm... what about me then?!"
"We ordered everything in the menu just for you, Soo. You are still the same" Jessica giggled
"Really?! Thanks, Sica-ah!"
"Sshh, you are so loud shikshin. Don't embarrass us, please" Taeyeon whispered to the shikshin, slightly embarrassed by her friend's antics in front of her boss
"That's for bringing Jessica without informed me you midget"
The two girls arguing silently with shushed voices, continuing their previous argument.
"How did you know Sooyoung, Jessica?"
Yuri's voice suddenly heard across the table. The flat tone in her voice kind of startled them, stopping them both from their arguing.
"And Taetae too" Tiffany interrupted
Jessica raised her eyes slightly from Yuri's tone and her bestfriend's envy? voice. Did she do anything
that makes the two girls mad at her?
She glanced questionally at the duo before shifted back her attention to Yuri and Tiffany.
"We were highschool mates along with Yoona before i moved to US" she calmly replied
"Just schoolmates?"
"We are close friends too "
"Really?"
"Yeah. And Taeyeon is my husband, Yoona is my wife and Sooyoung's my girlfriend" the princess carelessly shrugged
-crickets-
"Bwahaha!!! You should see your faces. I'm just joking, guys! Hahaha!!!"
The blonde girl laughed loudly, amused by her friends's expressions. Especially from Tiffany's shocked
face and Yuri's petrified expression. Yoona and Taeyeon can only facepalming. This is so expected
from the ice princess, known as the 'Sica's effect'.
Only Sooyoung have a different expression from others. She's frowning, wondering whether there is a certain
meaning from Jessica's words. This is go unnoticed from the other girls except Jessica, since the girl keep glancing at the cop eventhough when she's laughing at her said 'joke'.
The table tun silent from the 'Sica's effect' aftershock and also because the foods had arrived.
"By the way, since some of us just met today. Why don't we introduce ourselves?"
The strict lawyer voiced out. She wants to know all Sooyoung's friends and her maybe potential love rival. The smart lawyer didn't missed the blonde-haired girl's hint after all.
"Okay, let me start then. Tiffany Hwang. A businesswoman and still learning. That's my personal bodyguard,
Kim Taeyeon. Only i can call her Taetae" Taeyeon blushed from her boss introduction.
This is the first time she heard Tiffany called her nickname in front of others. She quickly glaring at
Sooyoung and Yoona who snickered teasingly at the older girl blushing face.
"Im Yoona, Taetae-unnie's and Soo-unnie's childhood friend. Lived in Japan, run a business there and
currently in a vacation"
The doe-eyed girl thinks Taeyeon's mistress possessive side is amusing and decided to tease the girl more
which she just did. Tiffany's glares only making her more amused.
"I'm Kwon Yuri. A civil lawyer and Tiffany's friend from university. And also Choi Sooyoung's date for tonight" she didn't forget to highlight the date part
"Jessica Jung. Just come back from my fashion studies in Us. Those three dorks friends in highschool and
Tiffany's bestfriend"
She said while smiling lightly at the eye-smiled girl. Now she know why Tiffany was mad at her before, maybe she can later like Yoona.
"Oh.." Jessica interrupted before Sooyoung open to introduce herself
"..and i'm Choi Sooyoung's crush during highschool" Jessica bluntly said leaving the others gaping at her.
Not before she smirked at the other occupants especially her new-known rival and the now gaping cop. That's
not something you announced when you introduced yourself but this is THE Jessica Jung. She will do what
she wants to do.
"Wow, two girls for you dude. Good job" Taeyeon whispered, getting her revenge back while playfully
patting the poor girl's shoulder.
Sooyoung tried to open to speak but Yuri cut her to it.
"You don't need to introduce yourself, Choi. All of us already knew you"
Sooyoung shut back, scared by Yuri's pissed off face. If she ever knew this will happen maybe she won't invited Yoona, who invited Taeyeon, who of course will bring Tiffany along and also Jessica, who unexpectedly brought out Yuri's scary side. (whew, long words there.. XD)
She missed the tanned girl's lovely soft side eventhough she felt it was annoying before. She pouting at Yuri like a kicked up puppy and playing with her food back when the girl ignored her. Unknown to her, the lawyer squealed innerly from the cute sight eventhough she profesionally masking it with her poker face.
This interaction didn't go unnoticed by other girls who watched this scene with interest. Jessica only shows unreadeable expression but her eyes shows she's unamused by it.
"Love quarrels aside. Let's start eating. I'm starving" Yoona playfully stated. She's still in mode to tease. It's somehow helping to cover up the pain stabbed through her heart.
