Sooyoung’s pov

We're having fun teasing each other while talking about our daily lives. It’s really interesting since our daily lives are not like any other normal girls.

Yoona with her gang’s experiences, Taeng with her mistress’s antics and secret admirers, while i told them about my interesting cases that i had handled this past years.

“Sooo, unnie. What happened last night between you and Jessica-unnie?” Yoona said with a teasing smile

“Haish..” i sighed

“Yeah, Soo. I promise i won’t tell Pani about it” Taeyeon smirked

“Pani huh. I don’t know you guys got a nickname now~”

“Don’t change the topics”

“Okay, okay.. But don’t laugh or interrupt me” the two dorks nodded happilly like the 5 years old kids.

Flashbacks

“Sooyoung, do you want to dance with me?”

I freezed. Did i heard it right? I hope its not my imagination. I turned and facing her. My heart melts just by looking at her beautiful eyes. How come i rejected her when she’s looking at me like that.

“....Okay, i guess...” i trailed off, i’m started feeling nervous

Just as a cue, the music changed to a romantic slow song. She smiled and take my hand to the dance floor. I have to hold my breath as she pulled me closer and put her arms around my shoulders.

It has been a long time since i hold her this close. I hold her waist and swinging to the slow beat. The world stopped as i succumbed to her enticing smell and presence.

I didn’t even realized the song has ended and it’s has changed to a faster beat. I have to recollect myself when we separated.

“I’ve to go now. I don’t want my boss scolding me again for skipping my duty”

“I understand. Hope we can meet again, Sooyoung” she smiled

I nodded tried to hide my sudden warm face before i turned to leave. Suddenly i felt she tugged my suit before i started walking.

“Wait! This is my number. Call me when you’re free so we can catch up”

“Sure” i smiled once again before heading to the sidehall

End flashback

“So that’s it?” Taeyeon said dissappointly

“Yes, that’s it. Are you guys expecting a drama or what?”

“ I hope you guys making out or something...” she whispered but unfortunately i heard it

“Yah!! We are not byuntae, byuntaeng!....” i meronged at her

“....... Unnie” the quiet Yoona suddenly spoke

“Yes, Yoong?”

“What happened next? After your dance with Jessica-unnie?”

Her unreadable expression kinda bothered me since i can’t guess what  she is thinking. But i comply to her question anyway.

Flashback countinued

As much as i want to spend my time with Jessica, i have to settle matter between us slowly. I still have to recover the shock from our unexpected meeting tonight.

“So, cared to tell me” i heard a guy voice interrupted my thoughts

Siwon (with a new shirt) looking at me with his gross raised eyebrows while he playfully nudged me.

“Tell you what?”

“About your relationship with Miss Jessica. I’d never thought you guys knew each other before. The world is small, eh?”

“No big deal. She was my senior when i was in the highschool.” i shrugged

“Really? So did you have her number then? She’s my type”

“Every women are your types, Siwon. No, i haven’t and she’s off limit”

“Nothing big, huh. Suit yourself. I’ll get her number myself” Siwon said while heading to Jessica’s direction with his player smirk

“That good for nothing hunk” i cursed inwardly

I’m about to stop him when i felt someone pulled my hand.

“Who the h*ck...! Yuri?!”

She pulled me outside which i assumed the mansion's garden while she keep silent until we arrived near the pool. She quickly turned to me with a dark expression.

“Did i make her mad or something?”

“What’s your relationship with her?”

“What?”

“You and Jessica. Are you guys dating?” she’s asking me impatiently, as if trying to hold her anger

“W-w-what?! N-n-noo!!!... W-we were just highschool mate ”

“Really? Is she your ex?”

“No! What’s wrong with you?”

“Did you like her then?” i barely heard her since she kinda trailled off her last words

She’s looking at me with a sad eyes. Why indeed? As much as i want to tell her the truth, i felt it’s better if i lied a little, for an unknown reason.

“No, she’s just my childhood friend. We were catching up a little since we’d never seen each other for a long time”

I said confidently while staring at her eyes. Her frown and sad eyes quickly dissappeared after she heard my words and being replaced by a happy face.

She smiles really bright that makes me wonder whether she’s bipolar or something. Without saying anything she dragged me AGAIN with a wide smile into the mansion.

“Let’s dance” she said while laughing happily, blending into the crowd

For once, i’m happy when i see her smile. Totally forgetting my duty, i followed her and we are dancing together at the dance floor until the party end.

Flashback end

After i ended up my story, Taeyeon nodded while Yoona being in a silent mode. I nudged Taeyeon asking for her attention. Sometimes Yoona is a mystery to us.

You may called me dumb or dense, but i can’t help it since i’d never really fall in love or in a relationship before. Jessica is an exceptance because she's just my highschool crush. I might be not totally head over heels for her, MIGHT.

We are exchanging looks and glancing at Yoona. Maybe she’s also scared by Yoona’s silent. Then she looked at me with a smirk and challenging looks. Obviously challenged me to question her myself.

“Yoona, Yuri is just my co-worker. Nothing else”

“Ahaha, yeah right unnie. I’m just spazzed out, that’s all” she laughed it off like want to tell us she’s fine

Eventhough i want to believe her, i can't. I'll figure it out somehow
