RYEOWOOK POV

Today is Kyuhyun's second day at the hospital. The three of us were anxious because of what the doctor said on the day of the surgery. As of today, we still didn't see any response from Kyuhyun. He's the same lifeless prince lying on the stupid hospital bed!   Since Ahra noona went home this morning, I'm alone with Kyuhyun. We are able to ask the doctor to transfer him to a private room instead of him being in the ICU. A rare chance considering Kyuhyun's state that require constant rounds from his attending physician.    I'm currently seated in a couch beside his bed, reading a book. In few hours noona will be here to take care of Kyuhyun, giving me time to have a full rest which I doubt because I can't stop thinking of him and his condition. What will happen to me when he doesn't survive this? Yes he hurt me but it's not enough for me to think that he'll die.   His parents need him so as Ahra. His fans need him same goes with Changmin and Victoria. I will not deny it, I need him too. He's the only person that I want to spend my life with but is it possible for us to have a second chance? How selfish can you get Kim Ryeowook! He doesn't feel the same for you anymore so stop that foolish thinking! In the end, you'll be more devastated than what you're already are right now!   I check the time, 10:18 am. The nurses already went in to give Kyuhyun his medication around eight and the doctor came in around nine so I'm confident that if I take a nap I will not be bothered by the medical team. I yawn a couple of times and close the book, I rose from my seat and took Kyuhyun's free hand and planted a kiss on top of it.   "Kyuhyun, you're sleeping too much. We need you here so please wake up." I carefully put his hand down and whisper to his ear, "I love you babe... I'm waiting for you..."   The moment I turn around his cardiac monitor suddenly went on buzzing and Kyuhyun started to jerk involuntarily! Even though I'm 100% panicking I tried to think logically, if I allow this panic attack to take over me Kyuhyun will be in danger!    'COME ON KIM RYEOWOOK!! THINK FAST!!'   I remember the red button above the patient's bed. If you push it the nurses will be informed that something is happening and they'll attend immediately. RIGHT!! I hurriedly push the button and a buzzer sound resounded the hallway.    Since I don't know what to do anymore and Kyuhyun is still having some kind of seizure attack or something, again I took his hand and mumble, "Kyuhyun-ah, don't leave me... please be strong.. hang in there babe.. please.." I repeat it over and over again until the nurses and doctors barge into the room.   "I'm sorry sir but you need to wait outside." the nurse said to me, leading me towards the door.   "Please do everything to save him.. Please.." I pleaded her with tears flowing down my eyes.    When the door closed I dropped myself on the floor, still crying. What did I do? Did I put him in much more danger? STUPID LITTLE BUNNY! STUPID! STUPID! I continuously pour my hearts out until I heard a familiar voice coming my way.   "Wookie-ah?"   "N-noona..."   She put down the things she's holding and pull me up to stand on my feet. I ducked by head down as I'm too embarrassed to look into her eyes because of guilt.   "Aren't you suppose to be inside? Why are you here? And you're crying. Tell me Wookie-ah, what happen?"    I lift my head up, meeting her questioning and expressive eyes.   "Kyuhyun... he moved.. b-but I think it's not a positive response. The cardiac monitor's alarm rang out and he jerked involuntarily. The nurses and doctors are inside and said that I'm not allowed in there. Noona, I'm scared... I don't want Kyuhyun to die.. No..."   She pull me close to her and say, "Ssshh... my little brother will not die. He's strong. We both know that. Listen to me, it isn't your fault okay? Now stop crying.."   I cling to her arms like my life depends on it, if it's in a normal situation sure I'll be embarrassed with my act but this isn't the time for that. We need to be strong for each other; for Kyuhyun. The hell with shyness!   After what seems like forever, the door opens bringing out Kyuhyun's attending physician, Doctor Hwang.        "Doctor, is my brother alright? What exactly happened?" Ahra noona ask.   "We're able to revive him and he's slowly getting back to his normal breathing with the help of the respirator. There's one thing good with what happened, Ahra-ssi."   "Good?! He almost die moments ago and you're telling me that it's good?!" her voice echoed in the hallway, making the nurses and few bystanders threw curious look on us. I hesitantly take hold of noona's arm making her faced me.   "Noona, let doctor Hwang explain everything first."   The physician nodded, and continue "It's a good sign because he tried to move his body but since his right lung can't process such a sudden movement, his heart tried to compensate by pumping large amount of blood but it didn't turned out well that's why he had an attack. Due to exhaustion, his heart stops beating for a second resulting for the alarm signal to automatically turn on. For the mean time we gave him medication to normalize the rhythm of his heart, he needed it to prevent another attack."   I sighed heavily after hearing those words from the doctor. It's a good sign after all!    "T-thank you doctor Hwang. Can we see him now?" I ask.   "Yes, Ryeowook-ssi. You can see him." he said, smiling at me.   Hey!
