As Aileen was leaving the building after a long days work she heard loud music. Someone was still in the building. She peeked her head in the room and found Xiumin Oppa practicing really hard on their new single. He did the moves flawlessly so she wondered why he was still there. She tried to go in the room without him hearing her but the door made a noise.

“Hey,” he smiled at her

“Oppa what on earth are you doing? It is late,”

“I have to keep practicing,”

“Why, you dance really well,”

“Really well isn’t perfect. I have to be perfect,”

“I think you’re pretty perfect,”

“You have to say that, we are paying for your job,”

“I don’t lie. Just because I work for you guys…technically I work for Lee Soo-man but anyways…I’m saying that not to make you feel better or feed your ego. I really mean it. I even think you dance better than Kai,” he started laughing but she can tell by his tone that he was getting mad

“Ok, right I dance better than Kai,” he turned the music back on but this time he turned up the volume, “Please leave,” he shouted at her

Aileen was shocked by his behavior. He never treated her like that. She wondered what was wrong. She stood there for a moment letting him dance but then she couldn’t just go with his attitude being so sour. She walked over the stereo and unplugged it. Xiumin exploded.

“What the hell!” he rushed up to her, “Give it to me,”

“No,” she calmly said

He went to grab for the cord but Aileen move the cord in her other hand. Xiumin tried to grab it again but she moved it behind her back. He had had enough. He didn’t mean to get rough with her but he grabbed her shoulders and shoved her against the wall. She was a little surprised but not really. Something was really wrong. Once he slammed her he instantly regretted it. His eyes got soft and he started crying.

“Oppa,” she reached for him as he turned his back to her. She gave him a back hug instead

“I’m sorry,”

“It’s fine. What happened? What’s wrong? I have never seen you like this,”

“I hate it,” he whispered

“You hate what?”

“You know I’ve gotten used to be ignored. I even accepted my cute little nickname but I can’t take it anymore. You know I love my boys. I really do; every single one of them but I don’t feel like I belong. I feel like a step child and a stand in for a new trainee who may steal my spot. I’m the oldest and I’m not even the leader,” he continued to cry, “So this time around I have to be noticed. I have to dance harder and be better than I’ve ever been. I refuse to be in the shadows anymore,” he went and plugged the stereo back in and continued to dance

Aileen never knew he felt this way. It broke her heart because to her Xiumin was everything. He was kind and caring. He never stole the spotlight from s. He always took care of the younger ones. He was selfless. She didn’t know what to say to make him feel better so she didn’t say anything. But she suddenly remembered what her father always said to her, “Actions speak louder than words,”

“Oppa,” she yelled over the music, he turned to her, “I’m going to go. See you tomorrow?” he nodded at her and continued to dance

The next day Exo was going to the S.M. Art Exhibition. Aileen of course being the Cordi had to go. She remembered her encounter with Xiumin last night and she found a perfect way to make him feel noticed by everyone, and she meant everyone. The boys were all lined up on the stage answering questions and being all happy. She noticed Xiumin’s fake smile on his face and she knew it was her cue to surprise him. She exactly had connections with one of the news reporters and she got to ask Exo a question. They were all surprised to see her stand up with the mic.

“Hello, this question is for Xiumin Oppa,”

They all looked at him as he had a confused look on his face.

“Ok,”

“Besides being known as Baozi, what other good qualities do you have?” she knew what his answer would be and she was ready for him

“Well…” he chuckled, he knew he had a role to play and make everyone laugh, “In the MAMA video, my shouting part was pretty epic,” everyone laughed

“That’s it, because I beg to differ. When I look at you I see one of the hardest working, dedicated selfless members and even though you are the oldest one and you’re not the leader, you possess all the great qualities any leader would have. Exo would be nothing without you and I don’t want you to ever forget that Oppa. And when you feel like you can take no more I want you to look at this enormous banner behind you and never forget,” she pointed to the huge banner hanging behind her. All the news crews put their cameras on the banner and photographers were taking billions of pictures.

Xiumin instantly had tears in his eyes as he looked at his precious dongsaeng smiling at him. She made a big heart with her arms and screamed, “Love you Oppa!”

That night every internet, TV and newspaper was talking about the Xiumin fan who expressed her love for her favorite idol. Comments were pouring in of other Xiumin fans who were expressing their love for him. He had to thank his dongsaeng for making him feel like a million bucks. He found her on the roof overlooking the city.

“How can I thank you,” he wrapped his arms around her

“You don’t have to. I don’t want you to ever think you aren’t loved by your fans or by me,” she sweetly kissed his cheek as he hugged her tighter

This was my fav one to write. I had major issues because I had no idea what to write for Xiumin. I don't personally know that much about him but I read someone's blog about him not getting enought love and it broke my heart. I love all the Exo members but i think they all need to get equal amounts of love. Enjoy
