18th April // 03:14AM – Sooyoung’s house

:: Second Lockdown Part Three

"Well...Jessi needs help because she wanted to give something to Soo before we’re leaving."

"And what does she want to give?" Sunny asked after exchanging glances with the investigators. They gave up on thinking when the spirits shook their heads in respond to the question. "Hmm...I wonder it is."

Taeyeon then remembered something when she caught a glimpse of a vase. "Oh! Maybe it has something to do with vases."

"Vases?"

"Yes, love." Taeyeon nodded to her wife. "Jessica said something about vases when she was communicating with the sisters. I think she's asking us to check the vases around the house."

"There might be a clue! What are we waiting for?" Seohyun said in excitement.

"We'll be right here with everyone!"

Yuri said before vanishing from the thin air, together with her partner. The investigators then decided that it was a good time to split up again and checked all the vases they can spot around the house. While Seohyun and Sunny chose to check at downstairs, the married couple went to get the sisters first.

"Girls, I'm afraid we have to stop the communication for now." Taeyeon said. "We just figured out Jessica's hint."

"Okay." Sooyoung nodded and joined the investigators to check the vases together with her sister.

03:48AM

"Hey." Yoona came downstairs to get the two investigators that were still checking out the vases. "They have found something."

Sunny put down the vase she was holding and released a sigh of relief. "Finally." 

They went back upstairs and found the other three were observing something. Taeyeon kept on flashing her flashlight towards the paper her wife was holding while Hyoyeon was looking at it with a magnifying glass. 

"So what is it?" 

"A letter." Hyoyeon stated as she caressed her thumb against the paper. "A newly handwritten letter."

Taeyeon widened her eyes. "Really?"

"Sooyoung," Hyoyeon looked up to see her friend with a sad expression. "I–I think this is Jessica's handwriting."

The tall girl was silent as she made an eye-contact with the investigator. She felt her sister holding her hand which she gladly placed her other hand on top of her sister's. "Uh...Can you read it for me?"

"Okay." Hyoyeon nodded and pulled Taeyeon closer to her so she will get a better lightning. "Summer–"

Summer,

It has been 5 years since I have left you. I have to say that I really miss you so much. Of course I do. I miss your warm cuddling, your sweet cheesy talk, your pranks with Yuri on me and Tiffany, your kiss, your touch, your smile, your voice, everything. I miss everything about you. I miss all of the times we’ve had. I don’t want to leave Mother Earth because I’m not ready to say goodbye to you. Our times together are short and I’m really sad that I can’t make it longer. For this past 5 years, you have been living without me which makes me sadder. Seeing you struggling with your life is really heartbreaking. If only we could turn back in time....But we can’t. I’m really sorry that I have to leave you sooner. But don’t worry about me. I will be in good condition with Yuri, Tiffany and my siblings. We’ll be fine. Please, don’t lose hope because of me. Just because I’m gone, it doesn’t mean I’ve disappeared from your sight. Well, yeah I am but I will be in your heart forever. Trust me. So to my Choi Seobang, my Shikshin, my Apple Pie, my Ice Prince, my Summer...
