~ Jiao Lin’s POV ~
 

After releasing the poor guy from the bag, we all gathered in a circle. It was time for some explanations…
 

“So… Why exactly did you ‘capture’ a human being?” I asked with raised eyebrows. Baekhyun scratched his neck and looked to the ground nervously, and so did Chanyeol too.
 

“Well, it’s… complicated…” Chanyeol sheepishly answered. “Actually, he’s a friend of ours…”
 

“What’s complicated about that?” Yi Xing questioned with wide eyes.
 

“That’s not the complicated thing. It’s actually how we met the first time that’s complicated.” Joon Myeon calmly answered. “Well… not that it really matters right now, does it?”
 

“I would like to know the answer for the question Jiao Lin asked. Why did you put the guy in a bag?” Xiu Min questioned while slowly running out of patience.
 

“Oh.” Baekhyun let out guiltily. “About that… since we haven’t been able to meet him for a whole year we needed to talk to him now that we finally found him…”
 

“And… then it is okay to just put him in a bag?” Zi Tao questioned out of the blue after being quiet for this whole time.
 

“Ehm… maybe… no…” Chanyeol pouted. “But… it’s the only way to ever get a hold of him.”
 

“What we mean is that, our friend here disappears all the time. One minute he’s right beside you and the next he’s gone.” Joon Myeon took over from Chanyeol. “He’s always missing. He can be gone from 1 week to over a year. And we definitely didn’t want to lose him this time. We really wanted him to meet you all, I mean… you’re our new friends after all.” He smiled innocently.
 

“Okey… so… maybe you should like, introduce us?” Xiu Min shrugged. Still not sure if this whole moment made any sense.
 

“Right! Sorry!” Joon Myeon started but got interrupted by the new guy who put his hand on Joon Myeon’s shoulder.
 

“I’ll do it.” He simply said and bowed down. “I’m Sehun. Nice to meet you.” He lisped as he talked and I couldn’t help but gasp.
 

“How cute!” I burst out, still not believing how cute it sounded when he spoke. Xiu Min turned around and faced me with wide eyes, he almost looked scared. Chanyeol also stared at me with even bigger eyes.
 

“What? I’m not cute! I’m handsome!” Sehun lisped again as he spoke, making me wanting to hug him so much. Joon Myeon tried to hold back a chuckle but failed. Zi Tao also looked quite amused, a small smile spreading on his face. But both Chanyeol and Xiu Min was frozen, their expressions quite funny to see. Yi Xing on the other hand… was… spacing out?
 

“Let’s introduce ourselves then. I’m Jiao Lin and this is my bodyguard Zi Tao, then we have Yi Xing and Xiu Min.” I announced with a smile, still not recovered from the cuteness. Xiu Min suddenly walked in front of me and shielded me with his arms, glaring at the poor guy.
 

“She’s mine.” He coldly said. I shook my head and Zi Tao pushed him out of the way, surprising him.

“Hey! What did I miss?” A familiar voice called out from behind me and I turned around to see who it was. “Why did you all gather out here? Are you going somewhere?” Lu Han asked as he got close enough to put his arm around my shoulder.
 

“Ah, no, we’re not going anywhere.” Joon Myeon happily said. “We were just introducing our friend here.” He continued and pointed at Sehun. “He’s an old friend.”
 

Lu Han looked around until his gaze fell upon Sehun. His eyes widened and he blinked a few times, making sure that he was seeing correctly. His mouth fell open and he hurriedly closed it again and straightened himself, releasing my shoulders.
 

“Wow… what’s your name?” He admiringly observed the handsome guy, looking him up and down.
 

“I’m… Sehun…” Sehun hesitantly answered back. Narrowing his eyes as Lu Han got closer.
 

Lu Han smiled brightly and bit his lip after hearing Sehun speak. Not stopping in his way towards his, what it looked like, prey.
 

We all watched as Lu Han tried to get closer and Sehun slowly backed away. A scared expression taking over Sehun by every step Lu Han took. Lu Han on the other hand was grinning, affection shown clearly in his eyes.
 

“Wha… What… do you think… you’re… doing?” Sehun stuttered as he continued backing away. He almost tripped over a branch that lay behind him, but he hastily recovered his balance.
 

“Maybe we should, well, help him?” Yi Xing suddenly asked while staring at the two guys. “I mean… won’t Sehun run away if this continues?” He did have a point there…
 

“What should we do then?” Xiu Min questioned unsurely, glancing over at Joon Myeon and Baekhyun. They shook their heads in unison, not knowing what to do. Unexpectedly we heard someone chuckle and we all turned around to see Chanyeol. He obviously had a lot of fun watching the two guys, hitting his knees wildly as he started to laugh out loudly.
 

Suddenly Sehun started running away, followed by a love struck Lu Han. Zi Tao rapidly made his way to shield the terrified Sehun, blocking Lu Han from getting near. But it didn’t stop Lu Han at all; he tried to sneak past Zi Tao in every way possible. Not that it did any good since Zi Tao is both fast and flexible. It was entertaining to see this whole event, not something you would see every day that’s for sure. Even if it maybe wasn’t appropriate to just watch and do nothing to help.
 

Xiu Min and Yi Xing helped Sehun and Zi Tao in the end, making sure that it was at least 3 meters between Sehun and Lu Han. So that we could finally return to our conversation. Sehun hid behind Zi Tao and Yi Xing, glancing terrified over their shoulders to see if Lu Han had stopped staring, which he hadn’t. I sighed deeply as I thought about what to do with them.

“Oh right!” Xiu Min suddenly burst out, turning around to face the scared guy. “What kind of power do you have? To be able to make a storm like that?” He curiously asked, excitement sparkled in his eyes.
 

“My power?” Sehun hesitantly questioned. “I… control wind. Why?” He soon answered, narrowing his eyes.
 

“Cool…” Yi Xing quietly said, showing how amazed he was by letting his mouth stay open and nod slowly. “I’m a heal-“
 

“Princess, it’s time to get ready for the party.” One of the servants interrupted, followed by two maids. Emotionlessly did the servant stare at our group, glancing from person to person. He stopped at Lu Han who were still staring at Sehun, but somehow he had made his way closer now. The servant sighed and shook his head before making the maids show me back to my room. I waved to the others as I followed back into the palace. I didn’t feel like going to the party at all, but it would be extremely rude of me not to go.
 

They had already picked out a dress for me, dark purple in color. It had lighter shades of purple at the hem and the flower embroideries were even lighter colored. It didn’t take long to finish dressing up but I couldn’t help but think about Sehun and Lu Han. How did it go between them right now?
 

~Sehun’s POV ~

“Please! Let me be! Go away!” I yelled at Lu Han. He didn’t stop following me, no matter how many times I told him not too. Everyone had to go and get ready themselves, just like the princess who I didn’t know was a princess until that servant addressed her like that.
 

“Why? Let’s be… friends.” Lu Han creepily said, staring at me with too much affection. I got goose bumps when he suddenly smirked.
 

Yi Xing was the only one who had stayed behind to help me, both with Lu Han and getting ready for the party. Joon Myeon had invited me to it after Jiao Lin had left us. It was only one problem though… Yi Xing seemed oblivious to whatever was happening around him. I can’t say that he was such a great help when it came to that creepy guy who followed us all the way to Yi Xing’s room.
 

When I didn’t pay attention, Lu Han suddenly grabbed my wrist to make me stand still. I faced him terrified once again, trying to wriggle out of his grip but it was almost impossible.
 

“Let… go… of… me…” I said insecurely, trying my hardest to make him let go of me.
 

“No. I don’t want to.” Lu Han tightened his grip and smiled mischievously at me. “Maybe if you give me a kiss.” He added teasingly.
 

“What?!” I burst out in disbelief. “Never in my life!” I yelled irritated. How can he say something that outrageous?! “Let go of me already!”
 

Yi Xing stepped between us, grabbing Lu Han’s hand that held mine and bent his fingers away from me, one at a time. Then he took my arm and pushed me inside of his room, closing the door after us and leaving Lu Han with a disappointed pout.

“Why didn’t you help me earlier?!” I let out a bit annoyed. Yi Xing looked at me confused for a while and then he smiled innocently.
 

“Let’s fix some clothes right away, shall we?” He said as he turned towards the wardrobe near the window. He opened it and stared blankly at the clothes for a minute or two before shaking his head. He closed it again and then walked over to the bed instead, crouching down and dragging out a large box.
 

I stared at the peculiar thing, not sure why he would hide a box under his bed. He lifted the top of it and then took out some clothes that he had put inside. He handed me a pair of them with a big smile, looking proud as I accepted the garments.
 

Before closing the box, Yi Xing took out another box that also was inside. It was a small jade box, decorated with white ornaments. I didn’t see it clearly though since he soon put it back in the larger box again. But it did look awfully similar to the one I got as a child…
 

“Where did you get that jade box from?” I curiously asked, but tried to not sound too eager. He looked up at me, smiling again. He soon fell into deep thought.
 

“I don’t remember…” He quietly said. “I’ve kind of always had it.” He added with a small nod.
 

“What’s inside?” I couldn’t help but ask.
 

“Eh?” He confusedly let out before continuing. “I don’t know. I haven’t opened it.”
 

“What? Why haven’t you opened it yet if you’ve had it for such a long time?!” I said in disbelief, my eyes wide.
 

“Oh! I mean… I haven’t been able to open it… it’s locked…” He soon announced as he scratched his cheek with one finger.
 

“Huh? Yours too?” I questioned almost dropping the garments on the floor.
 

“What? What do you mean ‘yours too’? Do you also have one of those jade boxes?” It was his time to be curious, and his eyes became even wider than mine. I nodded as an answer and then we got interrupted as one of the servants walked inside the room, dragging Lu Han after him. A bright smile spread on Lu Han’s face as he locked his gaze with mine.
 

“He kept on telling me that he’s your friend, and wouldn’t stop nagging me to let him inside.” The servant said with a sigh and released Lu Han who immediately ran towards me, locking his arm with mine happily.
 

 “Hi my love!” Lu Han said as he lovingly looked me in the eyes, hugging my arm tightly.
 

“Not again…” I sighed, goose bumps appearing for a second time.
