Suspicious
One million colorsJR's POV
"Ren-ah? Can you hear me?" For a short while there's silence on the other end of the line, until I can hear a quiet 'neh'. I chuckle.
"Then come here again." Not too far away, the bedroom door opens and Ren steps towards me. He has a mobile in his right hand and
looks at it in fascination. Yeah, I got him one this morning. After we returned from the beach late at night (I didn't even notice that we
fell asleep if it wasn't for Ren) we directly went to sleep, and I didn't even bother to sleep on the sofa. We were both so tired that it
didn't matter, we are boyfriend and boyfriend anyways. Nevertheless, I notice that Ren's eyes are small and sleepy, he seems to have
slept bad. That's why I feel bad for waking him in the morning, but since he hasn't complained once, I think he's fine with it.
"Mh- Hyung how do I save other numbers?" He asks beside me, and I reach out to him.
"Let me see." I examine the phone, it's not one of those complicated smartphones, so I immediately know what to do.
"Here." I say, showing Ren how it's done and explaining the most basic things to him.
"But wait- whose number do you want, beside mine?" I ask, teasingly, and Ren looks at me, cheekily curling his lips into a smile.
"Secret" He says, and I can't help but laugh.
"Yah, don't kid around, I know that you don't know anyone as important as me." I softly place a kiss on his forehead, and he squints his
eyes.
"Right. But I know the other hyungs." I nod. It would be good for him to have their numbers as well, so I snatch his phone away and
save all of their numbers, just to make sure. But mine has to be special, so I place it first and add a heart behind my name. JR♥ Upon
seeing this, Ren eyes me, questioning.
"It's because I'm your boyfriend." I explain proudly, and can't help but his silky hair. He backs away a bit. Right, Ren doesn't like
skinship too much, so I let him be.
"Then..." He says, reaching out with his hand. "You give me yours, too." I gladly do as he says, surprised by his action. I observe him
typing something, and as he returns the phone, I see what he did there. Ren ♥ I grin widely.
"Now it matches." Ren declares, looking at me with round black eyes. You know that I love you, right, Ren-ah? I can't help but smile at
every single thing he does, as long as I can watch him, I'll be the happiest person on earth. In the middle of my cheesy thoughts, my
phone starts to ring, startling Ren, and I quickly check the number on the display.
"What is it Bakeho-ya?" I ask, feeling kinda disturbed.
"Man, don't tell me you forgot. We wanted to meet up today!" At that point, my brain started to work normal again.
"Aaah, right. So, where and when?" Beakho told me the time and meeting place, and since he had told me to bring Ren if I wanted to
(and of course I wanted), I ask him immediately. To my surprise and disappointment, he declines. A weird expression has sneaked into
his eyes.
"Sorry hyung, I've got something I want to check today." Really, no idea what he means, but I let him have his privacy and don't
question him further.
Just a bit later, our ways part.
"Well, then, have fun with whatever you're doing, Ren-ah." I say, trying to sound sincere, but I can't fully hide my disappointment. Not
like I could hide my feelings in front of him anyways.
"Yeah, you too..." He mutters, turning around and walking into the opposite direction. I feel hurt as he leaves, but this way I might be
able to be there for my friends more. I can't cling onto Ren 24 hours a day.
Ren's POV
Holding tightly onto JR's present, the mobile in my pocket, I make my way through the city. My destination is the place we were at
yesterday, for I have noticed something strange there. Something that would let a bad feeling arise in my stomach - and something that
caused me a headache since yesterday.
Without my abilities, I probably wouldn't even have found it, but now I am here once again, and everything is just the same as before. I
needed to take the bus, which is no problem for me, since I never need to pay anyway. There are less people around, so I the bright
colors won't fully destroy my eyesight today. But what I inevitably noticed is that without JR around, the colors seem brighter and way
more annoying. Exactly this is what might come in handy though. I need to be extra attentive in order to possibly spot him. My feet drag
me towards the sea, and I hardly withstand the urge to just jump into the fresh water. I didn't even bring my swimming trunks anyway, so
the only thing I can do is cool my feet and walk along the beach.
Suddenly, a beach ball rolls into my direction, it crosses my way, and I instinctively pick it up. Not soon after, two small people follow,
and they stare at me with widened eyes. I think I've never been so close to kids before, so I don't know how to act at all. All I can do is
respond to their glare, until one of them is courageous enough to raise his voice. It's a little boy, maybe around five years old. He holds
the smaller girl's hand tightly.
"Hyung, that's our ball!" He says, and I look at the ball in my hands, then at the kids.
"Ah, sorry." I give them the colorful toy, and they politely thank me before departing. I decide that running around further is pointless.
So I sink into the fine sand and keep watching the children in their play, which seems fun.
"Umma! Why don't we ever go out to play, like the others?" The boy asks his mother, while looking out of the window, down onto the
small yard, where children are playing with toys he doesn't know.
"Because it's too dangerous. What if they find out?" The mother thinks it's way too risky. But the boy knows well enough that it's only
because she doesn't want to be seen with him. She doesn't love him, she hates him.
"I won't let them, I promise!" The boy continues to beg, trying to change her mind, but she stays untouched.
"No."
Sadly, the children soon leave with their families. Once again I wonder what it would be like, having a real family. I slowly shake my
head. I'm losing my focus. I should look out, not think about the past. Pain runs through my head and I know my objective is near.
"Hey." A voice beside me makes me flinch. At first I think it's JR. I mean, who else would approach me like this? But as I turn my head, I
notice it isn't him. Nope, not JR, but a blond haired guy with a friendly expression on his face that seems a bit fake. But since I can't see
his aura, I can't tell. The person sinks into the sand beside me as I open my mouth to reply somehow.

Celebration because of 20th chapter! Wuuuh~ ♥
This is officially the longest story I ever wrote. I'm really surprised (and happy) it got so far :D
All thanks to your support <3 If it weren't for you, I'd have lost interest in this a long time ago.
Hmm.. I'm kinda disappointed in myself for letting such a bad chapter be chap. 20 though. Oh well :3
