“ahh! Its nice to be back!” alex uttered while inhaling the air while they are in JFK airport. Jae joong just smiled. He is glad that

alex is so happy. “so what time is the meeting with the client?” alex asked. “well, it’s tomorrow, so we can rest today. Do you want

to go anywhere?” jae joong asked. Alex think. A smiled appeared on her clear face jaejoong knows that look. “so where is it?”

jaejoong asked. “let’s visit our old house” alex said. Jae joong nod and hailed a taxi.

Alex POV

It’s been a year now. How time flies. Though I haven’t been here for quite some time, nothing seems to change. New York is still

New York. A lot of busy people walking to work. traffic all over the city. Hotdog stand everywhere. “we should eat some hotdogs

later. I miss them” I said to jae who seems to be amuse on what he is seeing. “of course. Anything you say.” jae replied. In

excitement I kissed his cheeks. “we are here.” I yelled. Jae laughed. The driver also laughed. “sorry mister. I just missed new

York so much.” I said to the driver. “it’s alright miss. Welcome back!” the driver said. I rushed to the building. saw the guard. “Mr.

Smith!” I yelled and run towards him. Good thing he is still the guard here.

 “Alex? Is that you? How are you? You look so much beautiful now.” Mr. Smith uttered. He is such a good person. He is like a father

to us, jonghyun oppa and I. “I miss you Mr. Smith. Well, we are settled in Korea now. You know mother land. I’ve been good.

jonghyun is married now, and expecting his first born in 5 months. How are you? How are things here? Is our unit occupied?” alex

asked. “oh, jong is married. Well send my regards to him and his wife. Same old same old. The unit, is now empty. The last owner

just moved out. You want to take a look? Its still the same. The last owner just kept it as it is.” Mr. smith said. I nod.

We step in to the lift. “so who is this fine gentleman you’re with?” mr. smith eyed jae joong. “sorry for not introducing myself. I’m 

Jae Joong Kim, Alex’s boyfriend.” Jae said. I blushed and smiled. “you look good together. I bet he is the one making you beautiful.”

Mr. smith teased. I rolled my eyes. We reached the penthouse floor. “so, feel free to look around alex, I’m just gonna go back to

my post.” Mr. Smith said and went back to the lift. “ahh, it’s looks the same.” Alex teary eyed enters the living room. alex went to

the kitchen “this is where I cook oppa breakfast”. Then I ran to the stairs, to my room. “wah! Daebak! Seems like nothing is

changed really. Well except the mess I left here.” Jae just followed me. But then, something caught my eyes. I went to the study

table. A picture frame. I pick it up. To my surprise,”yoochun” I whispered.

Jae Joong POV

“yoochun” she whispered. I went to her side. She handed me the picture frame. I smiled. “he really do love you” I uttered. “you

think he is the one who rented this unit?” she asked. I nod. “alex, there’s a note beside the frame. Take a look at it.” I ordered

her. she took it and read it. tears started to fall from her eyes. I hug her once she finished the letter. “he rented and kept

everything to prove he is truly sorry. He did that coz he is really sorry.” She uttered in between sob. “sshh, I told you, he love you.

Just give him forgiveness already.” She nod. “but I don’t know how, after the wedding I didn’t saw him again” alex uttered. “in

time. You both needed time.” I said. her back to calm her. “jae, thank you” she said. I’m confused. “why?” “because you’re

so understanding. You keep on showing me stuff that makes me fall in love with you more” she said while blushing. “because that’s

what you do to me too. Making me fall in love with you more everyday.” I replied.

They went to the hotel they are about to stay. In their room , “alex, I’ll meet you in apple bees tomorrow morning. I have to go

somewhere. Just wait for the client.”jae said. “okay, aahh… it’s been a long day, I’m so tired. I’m gonna sleep first.” Alex said.

“okay, goodnight!” jae said and kissed alex’s forehead after tucking her in the blanket. Alex smiled. “don’t stay too late okay? Take

some rest” alex said and yawn. “yes ma’am I’m just gonna send this email to yonghwa” jae said.

Alex slept so well, when she woke up jae is not there anymore. “he is probably working somewhere. She saw a box sitting on the

couch. “what is that?” she walk towards it and saw a letter. She read it. “wear this today. This client is kinda important.” “tsch..

who is that client?” alex open it and saw a dress. “this dress looks familiar.” She picks up the dress and saw an over size shades.

“well, this must go with the dress.”

Alex went to apple bees just like jae told her. she sat on the same table she and seo usually seat. She glance at her watch. “where

the hell is he? He said that the client will be here.” “excuse me, are you Alexandra Lee?” someone talk behind her. she turn to see

who it is. “yah! Jaejoong! You scared me!” it is only jae joong.

Alex POV

Wait a minute. I remember this scene. The clothes he is wearing, seems too familiar. I look down to my dress. “oh!” I uttered.

“yes” he said. He sat infront of me. “this is where we first met. My birthday” I said. “yes. And since that day, I fell for you.” Jae

said. My jaw dropped. “bwo?” I’m confused. “well, seo, made that as our first meeting. She really likes you to be with me. I just

realized that from then, when I first laid eyes on you I fell.” Jae confessed. I blushed and tears are starting to fall. Since I’ve

been with him I cried a lot.

Jae wipe her tears. “hey don’t cry, people here might think I hurt you.” Jae whispered. “you made me cry.” Alex playfully hit his

arm. Jae stands up and stop infront of her. she looked at him  “jae?” she asked. But to her surprise he kneeled in front of her. a

waiter came and handed him a small black velvet box. Alex wide eyes got her both hands in front of . “alex, I wanted to

propose to you to the place we first met. Where the love started. I’ m not perfect I know, I’m a workaholic, with mood swings, but

I can be the husband you’ve always wanted. Will you marry me?” jae opened the box.  Revealing a ring with a small diamond at the

center. The ring is perfect for alex. Simple yet elegant. Just like her. one thing that attracts jae to alex is her simplicity. “jae.”

Alex whispered. “will you be Mr. Kim Jae joong?” he asked again. Alex hugged him. He almost lost his balance, luckily the waiter is

standing near them. “hey Mrs. Kim you almost knock me down. You want to be a widow already?” jae joked. “aish! Shikoro! (be

quiet)” alex replied. “wow! You’re truly a Korean now.” Jae said laughing. “want me to take back my yes?” alex glared. “NO!” jae

yelled. Making alex laugh out loud. They stand and jae kissed her but she pulled away. “jae there’s so many people here” alex

whispered. But instead, jae kissed her again passionately.
