Saturday, the day everyone in Alex’s life has been waiting for. It’s a bright sunny day outside. No classes. Like it’s been prepared

for her. Or is it? Alex woke up with the ringing of her phone. “uuhhmm Hello?” with a sleepy tone she answered it. “Hey! Happy

Birthday Bestie!” its Seo. “thank you bestie, now can I go back to sleep?” Alex have never been so enthusiastic about her birthday.

Why would she, Her mom died giving birth to her. She hates this day of the year. Though the guys of her life never brought it up,

she knows they are hurting as much as they are celebrating. “Hey son’t you dare hang up on me. I’ve got a surprise to you. Come on

down or I will come up in your room.” Seo says.

Hearing that she automatically stands up and went to the bathroom to shower.  When she got out of the bathroom she saw Seo

sitting on her bed. “yah! Why are you here?” Alex asked so surprised. “I told you I have surprise for you. “ Seo stands up and there

it is, THE SURPRISE. A sun dress, flats, oversized sun glasses and a shoulder bag. “WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!” Alex went over

the top of her lungs. “my gift!” Seo said a bit hurt she’s pouting.  Alex felt guilty. “okay, give it to me thanks!” alex gave her best

friend a hug. Seo gave her a big smile and nod.

Alex POV

“what the hell am I wearing?” I though while looking at the full length mirror in her bathroom. If only I  don’t love you Seo! But

while looking at herself a smile formed in her thin lips. She’s been grateful to seo. With her she experience being in a company of a

girl. I went out and Seo is being too overly excited seeing me. “OMO! Yeapuda!” Seo says while both of her hands are covering her

mouth in awe. I laugh inside. Her Korean roots are out. She really tends to talk in Korean when she’s excited. “How do I look?” I

turn to let the dress flow. She jumped and says “it suits you perfectly bestie.” Then she hugged me.

Jonghyun POV

I wonder if she’s already awake. He walk towards Alex’s room. He heard her giggling. Is she with someone? He peek on her door.

Oh its Seo. I’m glad that she met Seo. Being with a girls company is what she needs the most. “Oppa!” Alex caught me. “Oh! Hey

Good Morning and Happy Birthday Piggy Princess or should I say Pretty Princess. I see you’re wearin’ a dress.” I greeted her and

emphasizing on the dress. She rolled her eyes and side smile (kinda Kristen Stewart’s smirk) “Jong oppa, we’re going out for

breakfast okay?” Seo asked or should I say says. Then She dragged Alex out. “bye oppa! See you later okay? Don’t forget about

your gift.” Alex says while giving me a wink. I laughed and waved. And then I’m alone. I can’t break this to her. “Mom, only if you’re

here.” I thought.
