Alex POV

On my way to Busan now, I can’t explain the feeling of content I’m having now. Seo and I are okay. I saw my friends and spend time

with them. But something is still missing.

~Flashback~

“yah, alex ssi, jae hyung asked me to give you this.” Yonghwa said and handed alex the phone. “where’s oppa?” seo asked. “he said he

got something to do in the office so he head off.”yonghwa said then drinks his beer.

~end of flashback~

He doesn’t want to see me, of course. I hurt him so bad, only a fool would want to see someone who hurt them. 

“alex!” I saw yoochun waving to get my attention. I waved back. “ah, I love your defective car right now. Gave me a reason to fetch

you here in the train station” he said and embraced me. As always I respond  coldly.  We are in that point when I saw someone

recognizable. ~jungshin? What is he doing here?~ I thought. I was about to call him when I saw my dad walking towards him. Dad

gave him a hug. I pulled away from yoochun’s hug. Puzzled. “are you okay? You don’t look good.” he asked. “ah must be the travel to

here. Exhausting.let’s go.” I grab his arm and drag him out of there.

Yoochun POV

Alex is acting weird since I fetch her in the train station. We are driving to her mom’s brother now.  Everytime we go her since

last month she is always quiet. “Alex, dear, are you feeling okay? You are too quiet all of a sudden.” I asked her. “huh? Uhm, no, no

I’m okay. I’m just exhausted and I need rest.” She give me a smile but I know something is bothering her. “oh okay, you rest once

we get there.” I said to her and hold her hand. She pulls back and scratches her head.

Alex POV

We arrived at uncle Minho’s house now. I got out first. He hurriedly went to my side, he keeps on looking at me but I’m not in a

mood for another chat. Then there it is, the swing, the swing that jae and I… I stopped myself. I let out a sigh. Yoochun is looking

strangely to me now. “uhm yoochun can you drop by to jong oppa’s office after this, I need to give him this files but I .. I’m really

not feeling well.” I said to him more alive than my obvious face. “yah sure, I’ll just send you to your room and off I go.” He replied. 

“thanks” I smiled and pats his shoulder.

Now I’m alone, I’m free to analyze everything that’s bothering me since last night. One, I’m happy that seo and I are okay again. I

missed her so much. Not having her around is not fun at all. She’s family to me. Without her it feels incomplete. But the happiness

is not whole hearted, since number two, I saw Jae joong again, God knows how much I try to divert my feelings to Yoochun, I want

to love yoochun, he is nice, but I LOVE JAE JOONG. I love him that it hurts seeing him not with me. That makes me move to

number three, I will work with him for 3 months, 3 whole months. I don’t know how I can pull that off. Yesterday being near to him

again, honestly I want to hug him right at that moment.

And number four, seeing Dad with Jungshin, the way he hug that guy, there is something suspicious about it. Does jong oppa know

about it? “No, dad loves mom so much he will not do that.” I uttered. Then there’s a knock on my door. “come in its open” I called.

Its So Min. “Hi Alex, are you feeling good now? I can get Hyun Joong to check you up” she said sitting on the bed. I got up from

lying. “no, I’m okay now.” I replied to her. “ah good. well, can you come with me tomorrow? I have to meet my friends and they’ve

asked me to bring you. They are interested with your designs. Possible customers..” she explained to me. Tomorrow, I can squeeze

it in, besides I don’t have much work tomorrow. My work starts next week, the super toxic work. “sure what time are we going?” I

asked.

At the restaurant, So Min and Alex seated in the furthest table. *ring ring* “oh its my phone excuse me Alex, I’ll just take this.”

SoMin got up and moved away from their table. Alex looked around she is being amaze with the interior and the theme of the

restaurant, vintage western style. She remembered a place in New York that’s similar to this, then the smile faded when she

remembered something

~Voiceover~

“Jae honey, we should go to this restaurant in New York, the theme is so wonderful. I heard the food is great.” “sure, we should go

there before my birthday”

She stands up and shook her head. “oh alex, where are you going?” somin asked her. “I’m just going to the wash room be right back”

alex said. Somin nod and alex walks off. Near the wash room she recognize the man sitting on a table. “Dad?” she whispered

questioning. But then her eyes fixated with the two person with him. A lady and a youngman. She looked carefully, “omo! Jungshin?

But who is that lady?” Alex thought. She felt something is wrong with that image. She decided to pace towards them now.  

Alex POV

“Appa, I don’t want to work for you. I love being in a band.” Did I heard it right? Jungshin called my dad appa? “Dad?” I asked. Dad

looks so surprised seeing me there. The lady is stunned to. Jungshin just sat there. Motionless as if I’m not there. “oh dal, why are

you here?” Dad asked. There something that snap inside me. “Appa? Dad why does jungshin called you appa?”My voice is a tone

higher now. My hand is shaking but I quench it to hide it. “Dal, keep it down, I just.. uhmm I” Dad stuttered. “why Dad? You can’t

think of an appropriate lie?” I’m trembling now. Jungshin looked at me with a concern stare. “I’ve seen enough. I think Uncle Min

Ho can explain this to me. I’m leaving… and oh… I don’t what to see you ever again.” I run towards the exit now. Somin followed me.

“So Min Eonnie,.. my Dad.. He…” I breakdown now at the car. “sshh.. let’s go home, let appa clear this up.” So Min said and drove

away from there.
