Meet Alex Lee, a 19 year old Korean-America Architecture Student from Brown University. She is not your ordinary New Yorker.

Born and raised in the US never once she forgets her Korean values, in fact she loves her heritage. She had an older brother who

is currently working with their father in their furniture business. She and her older brother are tight. She never got to know her

mom because she died giving birth to her. So all her life she has been with the two guys in her life. With a strong personality she’s

been mistaken as “not so girly girl” but she doesn’t care. In her perspective life is hard so she needs to be tough.  She got her

best friend with her all the time. They’ve meet on their first semester in Brown and just like that, She and Seo are inseparable. 

“Oppa!” Alex called her older brother who is in his room in their penthouse. “What?” Jonghyun asked then he peeked from the wall

towards the stairs. “breakfast is ready dork! Come on down, I’ll be late for school.” Alex said while munching on her breakfast

plate. Every morning, she got this responsibility to cook for her guys (her dad and her brother). Jonghyun, now coming down the

stair smell the food. “uhhmm, like I guess last night, its eggs, bacon and toast AGAIN” he said emphasizing on “AGAIN”. “aayy, if

you don’t want you should cook your own food.” Alex said with pouting. Jonghyun smile and nodded. He goes to her side and kissed

her forehead. “Good Morning Princess” he utters then he went to his usual sit across her. “Good Morning Dork!” Alex says with

chewing her food and gave a smile to his older brother. Jonghyun laugh with the sight of her. Smiling with her eyes and has some

bits of the eggs on her lips.

“Hey, could you act like a girl!” she teased his sister. “what?” she spoke while bits of her food flying everywhere.  “Like that! You

should not eat and talk at the same time. Geez! You’re freakin’ 19 years old now; who knows maybe tomorrow you will be meeting

your groom.” Jonghyun explain while pouring coffee in his mug. “Who said that I want to get married huh? I’m young and I’m in effin’

New York City, opportunities everywhere.” She said with hand gestures emphasizing how big is NYC. “eehheemm, watch your

vocabulary young lady.” Her dad came from upstairs.

 “oopss. Busted” Jonghyun teased alex. Alex sticks her tongue out. “Good Morning Furniture King!” She greeted her dad and stands

up to accompany him. She crossed her arms in her dad’s and guides him in his seat. When her dad is seated she kissed her dad’s

cheeks. “aigoo, my daughter knows how to calm things up. Good Morning!” Mr. lee said while looking at his children. Then Alex looked

at her watch, “Shoot! I’m late, I have to pick up Seo in her apartment. Bye Dad. (she kissed him on the cheeks again.) Bye Dork!

(she waves at the brother who is busy eating) “yah! Stop calling me a dork. Where’s my Goodbye kiss?” Jonghyun asked. Alex

turned to face him and blow him a flying kiss. Then waves again, she darted out the penthouse.

“Jonghyun, have you told her yet?” his dad asked jong while sipping on his coffee. “About what Dad?” Jong asked clueless. “About

the marriage meeting?” Dad says. Jonghyun look at his father, then into the plate again. “Not yet.” He answered his tone a bit off. 

“Good. Let her be clueless for awhile.” His dad utters. Jonghyun looked at his dad again he was about to say something but he stop

himself.
