Jae called it quits. Alex’s idea.

Jaejoong POV

“oppa! You’re working so hard now a days, maybe you need a breather. Come and join us later, yonghwa and I will watch Minhyuk’s gig

at the open mic.” Seo said to me almost nagging. She’s been my distraction after Alex and I broke up. I really don’t know what

happen to us.

~Flashback~

“jae, I think I just rushed in to thing, this relationship, our relationship I don’t think this will work.” Alex said while they are

inside jae’s office. “what are you saying? Are you sick or something?” jae asked placing his right hand to alex’s forehead but alex

step back.  “come to think of it, I don’t know If I really love you at all or I’m just caught off that time. We should end now.” Alex

looked at jae with straight face, not showing any emotion at all. “but I love you I know I do.” Jae said pleading. Alex just walk

towards the door. “but I don’t Jae. Goodbye. I’ll hand you my resignation later.” Just like that alex walked out of the office. Jae,

left there with a confused mind. “what just happen?”

~End of Flashback~

“oppa! You’re in Twilight Zone again! Did you hear what I just told you?” Seo shouted at me making me collect myself. “seo, I have

so much things to do, just go without me.” I simply answered and went back to the document sure I’m not reading right now. I just

want an excuse for her to stop nagging me. “don’t worry, Alex wont be there” she said with a hint of bitterness. She never talked

to alex since she decided to broke my heart. “hey, still bitter with her, give her a chance. You’re best friends” I said, I don’t know

if I’m sincere about that or I just wanted to have access with alex again. “best friend? Tsch. I don’t know her anymore. She’ve

changed a lot. Even breaking your heart.” Seo said pouting. I know she misses her. Of course I do to. “suit yourself. I’m going out

for a meeting so will you excuse me SEO NOONA.” I stand up and hugged her. “ey! What noona?!” she shouted.

Alex POV

”okay Mr. Go, you’re furniture will be delivered 1^st thing tomorrow. Okay, bye” then I hanged up. “alex, you have a meeting later

with one of our costumer, don’t forget okay?” Jonghyun oppa reminded me. “arasso!” I replied. he waved and went to his office. We

are in Seoul now, actually, I don’t want to be here for now. It hurts me. Seeing the places jae and I went to. I pulled my bottom

desk drawer and took out this box. When I feel lonely, I look at the little things I kept when jae and I are still together. The

movie tickets, I smiled. It’s our first official date as couples. The piece of paper with his sketch of my face. The memo pad with

the “I love you my architect” note, he always sticks one on my computer whenever I’m out. I sigh. “I shouldn’t kept this anymore.

It hurts me” I whispered then I close my eyes. A tear fell.

“knock knock, is future Mrs. Park busy?”  a voice disturbed my alone time. I looked up and see Yoochun by the door with flowers.

“omo! Why are you crying?” he said hurriedly coming to my side. I wiped the tear, “uhm no, I’m not crying, I guess my eyes are just

tired.” I lied and give him a smile. “You shouldn’t work too hard. Don’t stress yourself.” He said then gives a kiss on my forehead. I

smiled, I remember something again. “arasso! Why are you here? I thought you’re in Busan for the branch out of Time out gelato?”

I asked him. “my fiancé is here, why would I want to be there? Besides Junsu is there checking it.” He replied while playing with

my hands.

“aigoo, you should be there and help him, it’s your business anyway.” I said to him pinching his cheeks. “I’ll go there later, you wanna

grab some lunch?” yoochun asked. “I’m about to go out for a meeting, Miane, tomorrow I’ll be in Busan, we could have dinner.” I said

and fix my stuff. “tsch. My future wife is so busy, she doesn’t have time for me, ahh! My heart” yoochun sat on the couch. I

hurriedly walk towards him. “are you okay? Yoochun ssi? Park Yoochun!” I shook him. “gotcha!” he said pointing a finger at me. I hit

his arm as hard as I could. “don’t do that to me! You know I got easily scared when it comes to your health.” I turned my back at

him.

Yoochun POV

I smiled. I hugged her from the back resting my chin on her shoulder. “sorry, I won’t do it again.” “you better.” She said and she

escapes from my embrace. “I really have to go, see you tomorrow then okay?” she said gathering her files. “okay, Alex Lee

Fighting.!” I said to her. She just smiled, waved and walked out the door. “I finally succeeded. She is with me and nothing will or

can break us now.”

Alex arrived at the restaurant, “shoot! I’m late! Stupid traffic!” Alex uttered while parking her car. She walks in the restaurant ,

“good afternoon ma’am table for how many?” the receptionist greeted her. “oh, no, I have a meeting here with Mr. Han” alex said

looking around. “oh there he is. I’ll be on my way then.” Alex bowed and went to Mr. Han’s table. “mianheyo Mr. Han, I’m Late, I got

stuck with the traffic.” Alex explained while bowing. “its okay Ms. Lee, we just got here really, please take a seat.” Mr. han

offered. “kamsamida” Alex replied and bowed again before sitting.

Alex POV

The waiter give me the menu, Mr. Han told me that he is with someone but got out for a while. “I’ll have the carbonara with

chicken and milk tea.” I said to the waiter. “so Ms. Lee how’s your dad doing?” Mr. Han started a conversation, “he is fine

sir, he is actually in busan right now, busy settling.” I give away a smile. “I’m sorry, for the delay, I just got a phone call from the

office.” A familiar voice came from my back. so familiar that I’m afraid to turn around and look. “oh here you are! It’s okay, Ms.

Lee just got here too.” Mr. Hand said. I still don’t want to look up knowing that I really know who that voice came from. “Ms. Lee

this is my best friend’s son, He will be handling the construction of my hotel in jeju. Kim Jae Joong.” After hearing that, I felt my

knees weaken, I can’t get up. “Ms. Lee?” Mr. Han called me. I gather all the strength I can get from my now weak body, I stand up

and faced him.

Jae Joong POV

“anyeonghaseyo, I’m  Alex Lee. Nice to meet you” she said and offered her hand. I got stunned with her behavior. Pretending not

knowing me? Okay, I will play this game. “nice to meet you too Ms. Lee.” Then I shook her hand. I held it tighter, she retrieved her

hands first. I smirk. “Ms. Lee is the daughter of the owner of Lee Furniture. They have a store in New York. It’s very famous

there.” Mr. han introduced her. “ah right? I know that store. I’ve been there. I think I’ve met your brother. Lee jong hyun.”I smirk

looking at her. She cant stand it.
