Hazel brown eyes meets dark brown eyes and they just stand in front of each other, challenging one another to speak up why they were both at the place they are now. The weight of the plastic bags were nothing compared to the heavy atmosphere surrounding the two. Dahyun couldn't feel her arms anymore but it doesn't matter because Sana's eyes were piercing through her whole being. The same goes with the tall Japanese, Dahyun was obviously not expecting anyone here, let alone herself. She further gazes into her eyes, she could see that Dahyun was tired, sad but most of all, she could see that Dahyun was in pain. The intense emotions in Dahyun's eyes provokes Sana to speak up.

"Why haven't you come home? Do you know how worried we all are for you?" Sana tries holding back the tears that were begging to be released. Dahyun's mind awakens from the trance of Sana's eyes and avoids the judging gaze. She takes in the gravity of Sana's question. That's exactly it. You all shouldn't be worried about me.

"Go home Sana. It's getting late." Dahyun looks away and tries to get past Sana. She moves side to side but with the plastic bags slowing her down, Sana is easily able to block her path.

"Stop trying to get past me. I feel like I'm defending against you on the court." With a huff, Dahyun puts down the plastic bags and looks Sana square in the eyes. She was frustrated now, all she wanted was to just be alone. She wanted to be alone so she couldn't hurt anyone else, so she couldn't hurt her but here was Sana getting in the way of her plans to disappear peacefully. She was slipping into another persona, a persona she hated more than Dahyunnie. She could feel herself becoming indifferent to the emotions she has been feeling all throughout the weeks.

"Then what do you want? Why are you here Sana-ssi?" the formality in Dahyun's words takes Sana by surprise but it was the foreign look in Dahyun's eyes that shakes her to her core. Her eyes have never looked so stone-cold, it was like she was in front of a completely different person.

"I... I wanted to talk to you.." Sana stutters for the first time in front of the pointguard. She genuinely feels scared of Dahyun right now.

"We're talking right now aren't we? Is this enough for you now? Tell me it is so we can both get on with our lives." Dahyun says in one breath, not even remotely sorry for the rude attitude she was showing Sana. She still had the same cold-hearted expression on her face.

Meanwhile, Sana couldn't believe that the person standing before her was the same person she found so charming, so kind, so precious. Dahyun's stern words take her aback and she feels her heart shatter into a million pieces. I thought you felt the same way. I guess that it was only me.

"I thought we had something Dahyun... I thought you felt it too... I guess not huh?" Tears rimmed Sana's eyes and after trying so hard to keep them falling, the Japanese finally let her emotions flow out.

"Just stay away from me. It's for the best." Dahyun says with an emotionless tone. She passes by Sana and tries to open the door. As Dahyun turns her back on Sana, the latter finally reaches her tipping point.

"The best? The best for who Dahyun? Please enlighten me because I feel like an idiot coming here to talk to you." Sana shouts in frustration, making Dahyun look back at her. Sana's eyes were red now and her cheeks wet from the tears cascading down from her face. The sight breaks Dahyun's heart and her cold demeanor slowly vanishes. She turns to face Sana and composes herself.

"It's the best for everyone. For you Sana-chan... So just stay away from me. Please." Dahyun now had tears in her eyes. She was balling her hands into a tight fist trying to get a grip on herself.

"Why are you pushing us away? Why're you pushing me away?!? Can't you see we just want to be there for you? We're worried for you Dahyun, I'm worried for you!" Sana was now voicing out the hurt she had been feeling all this time. Dahyun also lets loose the troubles she had kept bottled in since the start of everything.

"Because I don't deserve it! Because I don't deserve your care, your attention, I don't deserve you guys!" Just as Sana was about to argue that she deserves everything and so much more, Dahyun continues in a croaked voice,

"I... I don't deserve you. I don't deserve you Sana." Dahyun looks up and cups Sana's cheeks. The touch causes Sana to close her eyes and just cry. Dahyun wipes her tears away to no avail because she wouldn't stop crying.

"You deserve someone better Sana-chan. Someone who won't make you cry like this. Someone who's not a broken piece of like me..." Sana was shaken at Dahyun's choice of words. Baby how can you say that about yourself? You are so much more than what you think yourself to be.

"If you're thinking about Dahyunnie, or your disorder I'm ready to face all of that with you. We all are, that is if you let us." Dahyun looked into Sana's eyes. The girl was sincere. She truly was ready to go through everything with her. Dahyun's problem was that her mental illness was only the tip of the iceberg of her problems and as much as she wanted to take up Sana's offer, she was scared of making the girl go through the world of pain that was her life.

"It's not that simple Sana. If it was, believe me, I would never even be an inch away from you."

"Then let's go through everything one at a time and see where it gets us."

Sana takes Dahyun's hands in her and looks into her dark brown eyes, hoping that the pale girl would see how much she is willing to endure just so to be with her. Dahyun was stuck between a rock and a hard place, she wanted to be with Sana, more than there are stars in the sky, but at the same time, she wanted to stay away from her to avoid hurting her. She had already decided on the latter a few days ago yet here was the girl of her dreams, telling her that she wants to be with her.

"And what if we get to a point where you guys can't handle me anymore? When you can't handle me anymore?" Dahyun questions Sana with all of the uncertainties in her heart. She doesn't want a repeat of the past where she hurts the person she loves that the only way for them to be happy is by leaving her side.

"Then we'll just have to try harder to be together. That's a plan right?" Sana wasn't sure if her answer was enough to convince Dahyun to stop avoiding her and her friends but she hoped that it was for Dahyun's sake.

Dahyun heaves a deep sigh and hangs her head down. All her conviction for keeping the pain to herself seems to have gone down the drain. Sana had completely torn down the wall she thought no one could ever break down. The wall that she built around herself for so long, only to be broken down by the girl in front of her in a matter of short but meaningful words.

"You sure really want to go through with this?" The pale girl says under her breath.

"As sure as there are stars in the night sky." Dahyun blushes at Sana's sweet line. Sana had made her feel like every bit of worry she had was unnecessary. After a long time, Dahyun finally felt relaxed, like she had finally let go of an enormous baggage in her chest.

Dahyun's dark brown eyes locks with Sana's hazel eyes. She could get lost in them and not have any regrets. She was searching for confirmation in the Japanese's eyes, confirmation that she's willing to include herself into Dahyun's ed up life. Sana meanwhile saw the hesitation in Dahyun's orbs and assured the pointguard that she had nothing to worry about.

"Like I said, we can take it one step at a time, I can wait for you to open up to me more white stuff, you can take all the time you want. I will be right here for you." Sana's lips form into a loving smile and it warms up Dahyun's whole being. The Japanese has been saying all the right things and it has made her feel like maybe letting in people back into her life again wouldn't be so bad.

"I still want you to think this through well Sana. So let's take this slow and if you change your mind, you're free to leave me okay?"

"Now why would I ever want to leave you?" Sana asks while she wraps her long, slender arms around Dahyun's nape causing the latter to shudder under the touch. The older closes the gap in between them and leans her forehead against Dahyun's. Sana has been wanting to feel Dahyun's lips against hers for so long since their electrifying experience that happened right where they were right now. She looks at Dahyun's lips and then to her eyes, sending signals to the pointguard about what she wants to happen next.

Dahyun wasn't stupid, she knew exactly what Sana wanted to happen and she'd be lying if she said she didn't miss the Japanese's lips onto hers. As much as she wanted to grab this opportunity, she was serious about taking things slow. So before Sana could land her lips onto Dahyun's, the latter shifted her head ever so slightly and planted a soft kiss on Sana's cheek instead.

Sana's body jerked at the feel of Dahyun's lips on her skin. She was expecting something more but after experiencing a withdrawal from Dahyun's presence, she took it as a victory and returned a warm smile to Dahyun. It was only a kiss on the cheeks but it was enough to send her stomachs in a series of flips and turns. Okay . Like I said, I'm willing to wait and wait I shall. I'll get that kiss sooner or later. With her legs wobbly from the peck Dahyun gave her, Sana's clumsy self trips over the plastic bags of ramyun that was in front of her. As she let out a small squeal, she closes her eyes and braces herself for impact but it doesn't come. Instead, she feels warm arms encircling her waist. She opens her eyes and she sees Dahyun, smiling at her with such warmth and eyes so entrancing that Sana can't help but to just gazes into them.

"So you've fallen real hard for me eh Minatozaki?" Dahyun smirks and Sana just chuckles and hits her savior on the shoulders. Glad to see you're back white stuff. Dahyun helps Sana back to her feet and picks up the plastic bags from the floor. "I should probably take this in. Wouldn't want you to hurt that precious tushy of yours." Sana just rolls her eyes at Dahyun, making the latter break into a grin. Walking towards the door, Dahyun asks Sana to retrieve her keys from her pocket and open the door. Looking at Sana trying to get the right key to unlock the door, Dahyun couldn't help but feel like she forgot to do something, something important. It was at the moment where Sana had found the right key and was turning the knob that Dahyun's eyes widened as she finally remembered what she had forgotten to do.

"Wait wait Sana don't open the do-" . Well if this doesn't make her run away, I don't know what will.

"Oh my god. How long have you been here Dahyun? The place looks like a pigsty and I'm not even joking at this point." Sana couldn't believe that this was the same nook Dahyun had taken her a few weeks before. The once warm and homey hideout was now looking like a scene after Jeongyeon's intense parties. The sink was filled to the brim with dirty dishes, wrappers of ramyun were cluttered all around the house and crumpled balls of papers were spread across the front of the sofa. Sana's eyes were wandering the area, scanning if there was anymore to add to the list of Dahyun's mess of a hideout.

"I uhh today's my first day out of here actually since the party. You can stay outside for a while if you want while I clean up for a bit. " Dahyun says while rubbing her hand on her nape out out of utter embarrassment. Sana just shakes her head and lightly chuckles.

"Aigoo you won't finish cleaning up by yourself. I'll help clean up the kitchen and the sofa while you go battle it out with the horrors of the sink." Before Dahyun could even object, Sana was already making her way to the kitchen with a broomstick in one hand. Dahyun watched as the Japanese was sweeping the wrappers and bits of ramyun noodles that were on the floor. Each motion of the broom like a trance holding Dahyun captive. Sana was able to make that simple chore look like something out of a musical. Her hips swaying side to side along with the broom. Now I know what Chaeng meant when sweeping can be something so y.

Feeling the stare burning at the back of her neck, Sana turns to see a stunned Dahyun looking at her. She gives a soft laugh before gaining the attention of the pointguard.

"You can stare all you want but the dishes aren't gonna do themselves Dahyun-ah." Dahyun shakes her head and trods her way to the sink. She holds her head down trying to hide her reddened cheeks from being caught staring at the Japanese beauty. While both girls were busy doing their share of work, meaningful stolen glances were being exchanged by one another. Every time Sana would shuffle to sweep another spot, she would automatically look up and glimpse at Dahyun. Dahyun meanwhile had her chance to sneak a peek at Sana when she would reach out for the next dish to wash, she would look ever so slightly above her shoulder and just admire how the sweeping girl's hair would just fall perfectly on the side of her cheeks.

Sana finally finishes cleaning the mess in the kitchen and moves to conquer the sofa space. It wasn't as bad as the kitchen. She would just mainly have to pick up the crumpled pieces of paper and she'd be done. She bends over and picks the papers up and throws it in a plastic bag. Curiosity takes over the Japanese as she begins to unravel and see the contents of one of the pieces. There were markings together with words that were either crossed out, blackened out or erased.

You and I
We're like fireworks and symphonies exploding in the sky

Reading the words, and finally realizing what the markings were, Sana figures out that she was holding lyrics to a song.

With you, I'm alive
Like all the missing pieces of my heart, they finally collide

It was only 2 lines but Sana could already feel the lyrics tugging on her heartstrings. It had struck her too close to home, too close to what she was feeling with Dahyun. She hopes that even in the slightest possibility, Dahyun was writing about her feelings towards her.

Just as she was about to read the next lines, a hand flies in front of Sana taking the piece of paper away and Dahyun's body soon follows, crashing down onto the floor with a loud thud.

"Dubu are you okay? You just flew across the room, is this why they called you Eagle? Daebak!" Sana helps the s
