Minho watched in shock, and Key sobbed uncontrollably in front of him.he just stood there, his heart hammering at a quick pace, not sure what to do. Sure he has dealt with situations like this before, with baekhyun who cried and sobbed a lot, and he always knew how to calm the other down. However this time, he was hesitant. Minho was not sure if Key would accept his comforing words. They could not even be called friends. What if Minho approaching him, scares Key away? he was thinking of calling jonghyun, when a particularly loud heartwrenching sob came from key and Minho could no longer hold back. He opened his arms wide, and hugged the other, effectively enveloping the sobbing figure. The boy tensed for a minute at the sudden warmth, but soon melted into the embrace, shifting a little so that he could fit better into the hug, all the while sobbing painfully. Minho patted Key's back, all the while whispering words like "its ok" and "let it out". Key visibly calmed down, after some time, his sobs reducing to sniffles as he just leaned onto Minho,welcoming the comfort and warmth, drenching his shirt with his tears. But Minho did not mind. He was just happy that the other had calmed down.After a few minutes, when Key made no efforts to pull away, He found it safe to then retract his arms, and looked down at key, who slowly lifted his head to look at him with tear stained cheeks.It was  after a few seconds, when Key's eyes widened in shock and he jumped back, as if he just found out he had been crying in the arms of Minho.The air was suddenly awkward and silence followed.

Key was feeling much better,thanks to Minho's hug and words. His initial shock wearing off, he was suddenly embarrased to find himself in such close proximity to the leader, who was looking at him with concern. A Sudden blush crept up his cheeks and he jumped back in embarrassment, realising Minho had seen him in his most vulnerable state. However he had to admit his presence had calmed him down, and Key was in awe of how effectively Minho did that. "why?" minho finally asked after a long silence.Key looked at him in confusion."why.....why what?"minho blinked back."what happened out onstage key?" That is when key's mind comprehended that he was in the middle of a dance when he saw him.Key gasped in shock, he was in the middle of the performance, and then he saw him.... what happened after? He remembered nothing from what happened afterwards, and did not know how he ended up here, or how he ended up crying in the leader's arms. "OMO! what did i do? " key whispered, his mind reeling, head aching from all the effort he was putting into trying and remembering what had happened, his frustration increasing when he drew a blank. "what did i do?Minho?" he continued, his voice filled with confusion.he looked at the leader who was hesitating to speak, adding to Key's desperation"WHAT DID I DO? MINHO ANSWER ME" he yelled. Minho swallowed harshly before answering. "Key...... you froze. You froze on the stage, suddenly.you just stopped dancing and looked shocked.." Key let the words sink in."I........I froze?" he muttered, more to himself than to the leader but Minho nodded back. Minho knew it was happening. the guilt of his actions started seeping through him, and Key's eyes once again filled with water, as he slowly realised the consequences of his actions. "oh my god! i froze on stage. in the middle of the performance. i just.... stopped.Oh no! I spoiled everything. I........Ruined the dance......I.....I SPOILED EVERYTHING! I single handedly crushed all hopes of us winning this. I am pathetic ! horrible!" key continued, and started wailing.Minho panicked and put his arms around the dancer, trying to calm him down, but key had lost it. He was shouting and cursing, blaming himself for everything, pushing Minho away."its my fault. We lost because of me!"he kept muttering. "Key! stop crying, i know there is a reason for what happened. stop crying lets talk this out key......... key listen to me.... I managed to finish the dance. key listen...." however the other was wailing and sobbing, completely ignoring the leader and Minho sighed in exasperation."KEY SHUT THE UP! SHUT UP AND LISTEN TO ME!" Minho finally snapped, not being able to bear this self blaming version of key anymore, and effectively gained the attention of the other, who was still sniffling, tears running down his eyes, looking at Minho with a scared expression.Minho's expression softened as he took a long breathe to collect himself. "key...listen" "you are going to remove me from the team aren't you?" key asked suddenly, barely a whisper.Minho's eyes widened, and he shook his head."its ok. I understand, minho. if I were you, i would do the same thing. I spoiled everything. It is only right for you to remove me now."Key's lips started quivering and minho sensed another breakdown.Minho was shocked, seeing this weak version of the dancer. He thought Key was a strong person. Minho's past attacks, never seemed to affect him.If anything it only fueled Key's resolve to beat the other.Minho had always admired Key's courage. And seeing key here, crumbling, looking desperate, blaming himself and sobbing, Minho realised that key never let out his emotions. It only hurt him more, knowing that he had hurt Key all along, but the latter never showed it .He moved again, shifting towards key and pulling him into another bone crushing hug, and key stiffened."no one is removing you key. It was an honest mistake. It happens.You are human too. Humans make mistakes. we cannot let this one slip up allow us to lose a good dancer like you." Minho tried to reassure him with these words, and it worked. key slumped in relief at those words. however, he did not stop crying, minho could feel his tears wetting his shirt. After a few moments, key pulled away from the hug, a blush creeping up his face and he hid his tear stained face. "thank you" he mumbled,through his hands."anytime"minho smiled back. He felt happy that for once, Minho had been the reason for making key feel better, and not cause him pain, like before. however he must have staring at key for too long, smiling like a creep, because key squirmed uncomfortably and removed his hands to look at him. minho immediately lowered his gaze, embarrased at being caught staring. the air was awkward again. thankfully Minho's phone rang just then and he picked it up and looked at the caller id. It ws taemin, he frowned, before answering."what happened taemin?".Key shuddered, his previous guilt hitting him again in full force.he had to answer everyone. How was he going to face them? He just sat there, coming up with reasonable explanations for why he had frozen on stage, because he could not tell them the real reason. ever. in his internals stress, he didn't notice minho's frown getting replaced by a smile, which was growing wider by the second."ya, ya Taemin, on my way.i will bring him"Minho ended the call, and suddenly yanked key by his wrist, pulling him out of his reverie. Key tried to pull his hand back, but to no avail, Minho's grip was vice like. "what are you doing Minho, let go!" however, minho just kept pulling him, back to the auditorium. "we need to be there right now. key please just hury up!" Key was dreading this, why were they going back? are all of them gonna confront him together? Key knew he would not be able to give a proper excuse.Moreover what if......he is there? fear gripped him, and tears were threatening to fall from his eyes for the nth time.He did not want to back there, and he struggled to get himself free, but Minho was having none of it. he pulled key all the way to the auditorium and was pulling/dragging him up the stairs, while Key's eyes darted frantically across, silently hoping that he would not face that man.that man.Suddenly the pulling stopped, and that is when Key properly took in the surroundings, eyes widening when he realised he was back on stage. he looked around, mind barely registering anything, when suddenly baekhyun pulled him into a bone crushing hug,and above the other's shoulder Key saw taemin and chanyeol holding hands, and jumping around like high school girls. His gaze then flickered onto Minho who was walking towards the chief guest and receiving a trophy from him.wait.....WHAT? The gears in his head finally shifted, and key suddenly realised that Minho was receiving the trophy. that means..... they won.THEY WON! Relief washed over key, and hugged back Baekhyun as he started sobbing, this time in joy. Key's body let out a series of sobs. he was beyong relieved to find out that they had won. He continued crying shamelessly, as every member gave him a hug, while he muttered apoligies into everyone's ears and got reassuring smiles in return.He knew they wanted answers, but were holding, and key was grateful. However he did not understand how they won. If he froze on stage, surely they should have been disqualified..how had they won?.... what had happened?. he asked the same thing to baekhyun, who was too overjoyed to notice the confusion in his voice."of course because of Minho!" Minho? key was more confused.Thankfully his friend explained. "after you froze...." key winced at that,"we all thought that was end, until minho got up and started dancing, as if you freezing was part of the dance. It was amazing, the way he made everyhting look real. We won today because of him."Key was amazed.Maybe that was what the leader was trying to tell him back there. Key was suddenly embarrased thinking  be of how he cried in the other's arms, and how nice it felt to be held by another, after a long time.after sometime minho walked towards him, and gave him a warm smile."see? no reason to remove you! we still won!" he said, and key blushed again, while Minho just laughed. The celebrations continued, and all of the members, along with kai were flooded with words of praise.Key was particularly stunned when someone aproached him and complimented him on acting well like a statue."it was soo realistic" he had gushed.if only they knew. Minho had almost laughed at that statement, while key went red, in shame. he kept his head low, for the rest of the evening, trying to not draw attention to himself. even though they won, the fear of seeing him was still in his heart. he kept himself hidden, hoping to god that he wouldn't be found by that particular person. however as the evening progressed and there was no sign of the said person, key began to relax.He was slowly beginning to think, that maybe, he had been hallucinating.It wasn't the first time, either. Maybe he had imagined things, he was never here. Key started feeling hopeful and even started smiling and talking to everyone. he went away to get a drink,when a voice suddenly startled him."you were amazing up there, kibum. Never tought you could dance so well. something you never told me eh?" Key's blood ran cold, he kept his head low, he could literally feel the smirk of the other.kai joined them suddenly, shaking hands with the new person."have you met Kibum? he is our lead dancer." kai spoke and key was trying hard to not sob right there.the other just laughed."your lead dancer seems to be shy, totally unlike what he was on stage" the voice spoke and key started shivering. "yah ! key where are your manners? say hello !"Key slowly raised his head to meet the eyes of him.Kris wu.he looked as handsome as ever, if not better, and key could not help stare at him. Kris just smirked back, his eyes resting too long on key's lips, making Key lower his gaze again."he...hello. Nice to meet you." he stammered, before bowing." a pleasure to meet you too Kibum." he replied, causing a cold sweat down Key's back.he gulped nervously, while kai continued rambling, oblivious to their exchange. "i am so excited that you requested for us to perform at your wedding." key's head snapped up in shock."what?" he muttered and kris just smirked at him."yes key! we have been requested to perform at his wedding. As a special surprise for his fiancee who is a huge fan of our team!" "you are getting married?" key asked, trying hard to bite down his sobs.kai nodded, his smirk returned in full force."I am looking forward to your performance at my wedding. I hope you will not dissapoint me, kibum-shii. I expect nothing less that the best."kai said, before winking at him and turning around, dissapearing into the crowd, leaving behind a teary eyed key.

i am sorry for not updating in so long.so here is a long update to make it upto you guys. the story will now start picking up pace, and you will get to see more of minkey moments. i hope you like the story. do comment on your views
