Stillness
That One GirlI didn't want the next day to come, I had so many questions for myself and for her. Everything that I see began to remind me of Lisa, and I don't know why. Even just a piece of plain paper reminded me of her. Lisa knows that I'm more conservative than the other girls and that I treasure my space dearly. I just don't understand how things can end up abruptly like this after all we've been through...
"like this son of a b I see here," I said while staring down at a crushed can lying lifelessly on my bedroom floor.
I kicked it because it evoked me of our current situation perfectly... all beaten and crushed and just like the can, it'll be hard to revert back to its original shape. Spring blossoms were falling down so slowly that it looked as if they defied gravity. I held out my hand so that I could have one land on my palm. "It's been so long, we use to come here all the time when we needed each other to talk about bothersome things," I stared down at the pink cherry blossom, "I remember how you were questioning about your future saying that you'll be a garbage man or something. Hilarious." My stare softly focused on Jisoo as she patted the trunk of the Cherry Blossom tree in agreement. I wasn't quite smiling, but the corners of my mouth were tilted as if they meant to. "But why so sudden?" I asked, "Did something happen?". The cherry blossom fell to the grass as I lowered my arm. She turned to look at me. When she blinked, the beauty of her brown eyes was briefly covered by the s
