Author's POV

It's been 3 days since Taeyeon get the medicine from Dr. Jung, she had shown a great progress afterwards. She already got discharged from the hospital and back to her normal self. She start training with her weapon early in the morning before Tiffany awake, she still felt a little bit uncomfortable with her arm but everything already back to normal just like her magic core. Tiffany finally opened her eyes as she felt something is missing from her bed, Taeyeon is missing. She rub her eyes and walking half awake to find Taeyeon, she finally can find her inside the small training room they have in their room.

"Taetae~ why you already started training early in the morning? you just got discharged from the hospital not so long ago. you should not pushed yourself too hard." Tiffany walks inside the room as Taeyeon swings her sword accidentally towards Tiffany's direction. Tiffany dodge the attack easily while eyes half opened "yah. you don't love me anymore till you want to kill me?" she said in annoyed. Taeyeon just gave her an awkward laughter and put her sword down

"sorry pany-ah~ well..surely if you die, i will die too. that is just how much I love you" Taeyeon wipes her sweats and hugs the half sleeping Tiffany. "I just have to start practicing right? my body has been idle on the hospital bed for too long. Beside we have to be in our best shape for the next battle so I should start working out again" She grabs a bottle, drinks the water and splash some to her face. Dropplets of water streaming down through her neck before disappeared inside her clothes, she stretched herself a bit, exposing her abs and firm arms, surely she can make anyone faints with her perfect feature but unfortunately she is taken by Tiffany whom equally beautiful like her. Just the perfect match that makes people sometimes wondering why the world is so unfair to them. Taeyeon wipe herself clean with a dry towel as Tiffany approached her.

"who said you can go on to fight on the next battle? we haven't heard anything from BoA." Tiffany lazily leans on Taeyeon's shoulder and hugs her waist, inhaling the familiar scent that she love, she smile unconsciously with the warmth Taeyon provide from her body.

"I'm already fine tho. I can fight, the doctor said that I am good to go." Taeyeon wraps her arm around her lazy girlfriend and carried her bridal style to the dining room, she put Tiffany on the chair gently as she started to cook breakfast for both of them. A fragrant sweet smell filling the atmosphere as Taeyeon skillfully flipping the pancakes. Tiffany just staring at her girlfriend's back with so much adoration in her eyes. Her gaze scanning through her beautiful girlfriend that is cooking breakfast for them, the sunlight shining through the window, eveloping the petite body of her girlfriend, a few drops of sweats formed on her neck, flowing down slowly, she  her lips as she saw Taeyeon purposely swing her seductively, knowing that Tiffany is staring at her. "Like what you see?" Tiffany let out a chuckles as she caught red handed staring at Taeyeon "yeah. You look beautiful" Taeyeon hums as she cooks while Tiffany enjoying the view in front of her before they're interrupted by the sound of a phone call

BEEEP BEEEP

INCOMING CALL - General BoA

"speaks of the devil." Tiffany pick up the call as a video of BoA's face come to the hologram

"Morning ladies! how are you? Tiffany you should probably wash your face since I can see your drolls at the corner of your lips." BoA's word really put Tiffany to awake as she runs to the bathroom to wash her face immediately "feeling good Taeyeon? If you are good, I would like both of you to test a new weapon. it meant for couples to use. I don't have one, tried with Sunny but her body reject my magic since she only want Hyoyeon. if you still want to rest, I can have Seohyun and Yoona to put it to the test. I ask you first because, well.. basically both of you are the best 'team' we have here." Taeyeon put some pancakes on two plates and look at BoA

"Sure, I don't mind testing it. The doctor said I am good to go" Taeyeon shrugs and pour some syrups on top of the pancakes as well as the freshly cut fruits on the side.

"I do Mind! Taeyeon still need to rest!" Tiffany's voice echoing from inside the bathroom

"psst.. BoA, just prepare the new weapon, I will deal with Tiffany. when should we meet up later on?" Taeyeon whisper to BoA on the phone

"great! meet me in the testing room by 10 sharp. and if she is going to kill you, don't ask me to help you." BoA whispered back and chuckles "BoA sign out" she hung up the phone when Tiffany just got back

"Yah Kim Taeyeon! what did you just say to BoA? Did you still gonna do the weapon test later? Aissh!" Tiffany crossed her arms and taps her feet on the floor, Taeyeon just gave her a dorky smile

"uh... yes? but but but.. it's okay! I promise I wont pushed myself too hard!"

"YAH! THAT'S SO NOT MY POINT! YOU STAY HERE! I will call BoA again" she grabbed the phone to call BoA but Taeyeon immediately jumps to kiss Tiffany on the lips, stopping her on whatever she is doing. Taeyeon slowly grab the phone from Tiffany's weaken hand and put it away on the table. Tiffany breaks the kiss and look Taeyeon in the eyes "I know what you're doing. you try to make me not call BoA to cancel the meeting, I don't like the idea of you do the weapon testing but I like the way you try to stop me. promise me you wont push yourself too hard? if you push yourself too hard, i will definitely not let you go into the battlefield." Tiffany sternly said to Taeyeon while tapping her nose with her index finger

"ay ay sir~ I promise you with all my life" Taeyeon grins widely, Tiffany pull Taeyeon closer and lock their lips into a passionate kiss and the pancakes is totally forgotten

BoA's POV

I wonder if Taeyeon can come here alive, but the heck, she always know how to makes Tiffany obliged to what she wants. just like Tiffany knows how to persuade Taeyeon to do what she wants. What a couple we have in this facility. I look through the manual book and ask the scientist on everything to make sure it is already perfectly safe for trial. I can see Sunny walks into the room from afar, she is holding someone else's hand as she walks happily. I scanned through the magic core so I can see it clearly from afar, oh it's Hyo!

"Hyoyeon!!" I exclaimed happily, waving my hand to them

"BoA!! long time no see!" Hyo waves back along with the happy Sunny beside her. as they arrived, Hyo handed a documents to me and ask me to look through it "I figure that this weapon will only worked with the matching wavelength, in this case, you're going to test it to Tiffany and Taeyeon. I thought this data might help them to utilize the weapon in its full strength" I stare at her with a sudden flashback playing inside my mind

flashback

it was a dark and cold night, we're still working all together in one team, I am not yet becoming a General, and we are assigned to do a night shift scouting around the perimeter. We spotted a small dark creature lurking around, getting closer to the outer barrier. It seems harmless, I squinted my eyes, trying to scan the surrounding of any possible other dark creature nearby but not finding any.

"One small fry up ahead. Want to take it out quickly?" I asked through the intercom as we are moving stealthily nearing the dark creature

"Affirmative. I will take it down with Tiffany." Taeyeon said while moving faster to the dark creature's position, Tiffany followed her close behind. I saw they swiftly eliminate the dark creature in silent, I can sense something is not right, because it is very unlikely that a dark creature roaming just by itself, usually they will move in groups.

"Stay alert. Sunny can you get any visual of anything weird around here?" I asked while looking at Sunny who command some of her seeds to scout around.

"I see nothing else. But I know something bothering your mind" Sunny said as I saw her took glance to me for a bit while running beside Hyoyeon. Taeyeon and Tiffany got back to our original formation as we continue running through the permimeter.

"Something is off. Don't you think it is weird that dark creature earlier only by itself? My instinct told me to be more careful" I said while scanning further ahead with my dragon's eyes, trying to find the source of my uneasiness

"Yeah, I also find it wei--" Taeyeon's sentece got cutted as the ground below her suddenly trembles and revealing a huge black claw trying to kill her. Fortunately Taeyeon has a great reflect as she jumps immediately to avoid the claw, she deploys her barrier to protect her as Tiffany quickly shot the claw. I jumped back a few steps with Hyoyeon and Sunny as we deployed our barrier. The d
