Author's POV

The sunlight slowly reveal the aftermath of the last unexpected battle. A small smokes rising up to the sky, some people started to tidying up the ruins from the building, huge hole can be seen at the field, some people start to swipe the ashes from the dark creatures, the atmosphere felt cold. The minister of Military gathered all generals all over the country to discuss about possible measure they can take to prevent things like this from occuring in any other places. BoA joined the meeting through video call due to her condition, she is accompanied by Sunny.

"General BoA, can you tell us what exactly happening last night?" The minister asked, everyone look to BoA waiting for explanation

"Yes Minister. As you can see here, the dark creatures penetrate our base from underground. Our scouts didn't detect any unusual activities before the attack occurs. Our barriers also can't detect the dark creatures....." BoA and Sunny explain every details of the battle, her analysis about the battle itself. Everyone has a serious look as they watched the footage from the battle.

"So what can we do to prevent this for happening again? It was a close call as you have told us." The minister asked to everyone that present in that meeting

"I would like to suggest it is our time to strike back to Mort's headquarter. We have developed a strong new weapon and we can start training all the possible candidates to use that weapon. We already have 2 pairs of compatible users for the new weapon and they are the strongest pairs so far. We just have to produce more of this weapon and do compatibility analysis to find other compatible users. The damage that the weapon can create is amazing. I believe if we can utilize it well, we have a higher chance to defeat Mort and his army." BoA explained them by showing the footage of Taeyeon and Tiffany's last fight with the new threat.

"Are you sure we can defeat him? He seems to be full of surprises, the last battle was unexpected. We never knew he would be able to dig a tunnel that far undetected by the scouts and end up in our airbase. How can you be so sure that by using the new weapons, we can have a higher chance to defeat him?" one of the general asked

"with all due respect General, We don't have much options in our hands right now. Do you wish for him to strike us first even bigger than what happened last night? How long we are going to wait until we're ready? We'll never be ready because both sides are improving themselves, we did and so does he. Do you wish for us to just wait for our death by the time he gets stronger and become invincible for real? Our chances are getting thinner if we keep waiting. I really hope all of you can understand the situation that we're facing right now. Mort can penetrate our base last night and deploy a huge amount of attack that nearly killed our best soldiers, who knows what he can do within the next few years if we keeps on waiting and just defend our position. it's time for us to finish this prolonged battle once for all." BoA coughs hard after she tried to make them understand the real situation, everyone gets worried about her condition and Sunny scold her a bit

"ahem.. I agreed with General BoA." the minister said "as we may know from the past weeks, Mort's attacking pattern started to get ahead of schedule or unexpectedly happened. The front liners like General BoA and her soldiers had been doing a tremendous job defending our country. It's about time that we end this prolonged war that up our sources. I asked the other generals to support BoA's division, support the materials needed to develop the weapons, send your best troops that compatible with that weapon to be trained by BoA's division. We will launch our attack within a month, set a countdown. We will be all out to defend our country and defeat our biggest threat. I will be the head commander of this attack and you all will hear more from me soon. Any question?"

"No Sir! We will Do our best!" Everyone else said in unison "Thank you, you may all dismissed. And BoA, Thank you for your hardwork and I wish you to get better as soon as possible" the minister dismissed everyone

"Thank you sir! it's an honor to be able to serve this country!" BoA lifted her hand weakly to make a salute and the conference ended. A loud sighs can be heard from BoA and Sunny's mouth as the conference finally ended. 

"Inform Hyoyeon to prepare the Link Bracelets. It's gonna be a long month." BoA unconsciously smile as she began to analyze the potential candidates available in their facility

Taeyeon's POV

I opened my eyes and saw Tiffany hugging me, still sleeping soundly. I stare on the ceiling, thinking of what happened on last night's battle. I believe I saw something else. It flies above all of us as if it is watching us. That black shadow, it disappear like a wind as soon as BoA called us all. I am sure it is not the usual creatures we encounter. The moment its red eyes met mine, I can sense a great amount of dark magic within it, it is intimidating and intense. I have to tell BoA about this, maybe one of Sunny's seed capture the image of it.

"Kim Taeyeon!" I startled a bit as I realize Tiffany's face in front of me, frowning. "What's bothering you? I've been calling you for 3 times and you didn't respond. Just staring on the ceiling in your deep thought face." I smiled to her and hugs her tightly, leaning her head on my shoulder, caress her hair gently. "I was just thinking about last night's fight." I said softly, closing my eyes, inhaling her sweet scent. She suddenly moves on top of me, trapped me in between her arms. I widened my eyes in confused. "Oh Right! I almost forgot! Did you saw that pitch black cloud like with a red eyes floating above us? It looks like it is observing us or something, but as soon as I aim to it, it disappears. It was right before BoA called us." She said it in loud voice with her eyes beaming. "I thought I am the only one who saw it. You saw it too? That's the thing that has been bothering me. I mean it was weird that it just float there and not making any significant moves, but it send me chill to my spine when our eyes met. We should tell BoA about this." 

RIING RIIING - INCOMING CALL GENERAL BOA

"Speaking of the devil, she called us first." I tap her nose gently and peck her lips before picking up the phone call. Tiffany lazily lay down on top of me while leaning her head on my chest. BoA's face slowly popped up on the phone's video call hologram. "Uhm.. am I interrupting something...?" She asked carefully while pointing Tiffan
