Here you are lying in front of me, surrounded by white walls and this horrible scent of hospitals. I never liked hospitals. Your eyes are shut tight, never opening for me once again. Your ruby lips have lost their colour, scratches lingering on your cheek.

You're still so beautiful, even in your eternal sleep.

A tear rolls down my cheek when I hold your hand. It's cold. Why is it so cold?

'Come back. Don't leave me,' I want to scream but can't. My voice is trapped in my throat, silenced by my sobs.

I don't want to leave your side; don't want to let you go. They force me to, bringing you somewhere unknown. My world is crumbling around me, the basis of my life and every being vanishing.

I can't let you go; it's too hard for me. My heart died together with your last breath.

I can't let you go; I never will.
