“Come here,” A wrinkled finger beckoned the child forward.

The child was playing with his toys. He immediately dropped them onto the ground, trotting towards the old man.

“Yes, grandpa?” The child chirped up, sitting down on the ground in front of his grandfather.

The child had admired his grandfather ever since he was only a little younger. He thought of the old man as a determined, careful and wise man. To the child, the grandfather was the definition of perfect; from the wrinkles around his eyes and forehead, to those calm looking eyes, and to his pointy nose.

“Have I ever told you a story?” The grandfather asked, leaning forward to get a closer look at the boy.

“About vampires and werewolves?” The boy asked, tilting his head to indicate that he was curious.
