Dara woke up to the sound of her door knocking.

"Dara let's go, you still have work"

She shot up.

I almost forgot.

She rushed to get dressed and dashed out her room to freshen up.

"Are you mad at me?" JiYong asked on the car ride to the company.

"No"

"You seemed mad last night" 

"I was just tired"

"Alright. Did you sleep well?" 

Dara smiled brightly and nodded.

I need to keep this up until I find his tattoo.

"Good" taking a quick glance at her.

"Mr Kwon you have an interview with a Reporter Shin" Dara reported 

"What time"

"In 5 minutes"

Reporter Shin asked many questions regarding his success and how he got there.  

JiYong responded flawlessly.

Near the end of the quick interview..

"Mr Kwon I'm going to ask you some personal questions if you don't mind"

"Hm..go ahead."

"So regarding the accident 5 years ago, what can you remember?"

Accident 5 years ago..?

JiYong paused.

"No much" 

"Ah..I see...just a random question, do you believe in mermaids?" reporter shin asked glacing a Dara quickly.

JiYong seemed to hesitate a bit before responding.

"No."

"I see, well that will be all. Thank you again."

Dara got up from beside JiYong, escorting the Reporter Shin out.

Outside the office, reporter Shin turn to Dara.

"Miss Dara is it?"

Dara nodded.

"Do you believe in mermaids?"

"Uh..no..." Dara let out an awkward laugh.

"Alright then" he said and left.

This man is a bit weird...

"What do you want for dinner?" Ji asked Dara.

"Hm...ramyun!"

"Alright, go shower."    

Dara locked the bathroom door and let the tub fill up.

How should I get him to show me..

And then, she remember a scene from the drama.

A smile crept up on her lip as a plan started to form in her head.

She turned off the water and got into the tub.

Her tail surfaced the water.

Dara got out of the tub and dried herself off when she noticed it.

Scales.

Some of her scales had fallen out.

What is this.. whats happening..

She picked up her scales and ran to her room.

This doesn't happen unless I'm sick..am I sick?

She placed the scales in her box, and took out a pearl.

She swallowed the pearl with some water. She felt energy surge through her.

This should help for now..I need to figure out why I'm losing scales..

That night, JiYong layed in bed and opened the black velvet box.

What is this..

He examined the scale.

Is it Dara's..? 

He remembered he found it in Dara's towel that day at the pool.

Why would she have this...?

He closed his eyes to think, however his thoughts were interrupted by images of a beach.

He sat up. 

Whats this? What am I seeing?

He closed his eyes again.

Flashes of a beach, of a voice...a girl singing..

He opened his eyes..

When did this happen?

He tried to pull the images back, but they were gone.

A few days later...

Dara sat on her bed and thought through the plan again.

I just need to get him drunk...then then..things will happen and he'll take his clothes off...

She ran into JiYong's home office.

"JiYong-ahhh" She called sweetly.

"...are you hungry?" he asked.

"Hm...let's have soju" she suggested excitedly.

"Soju?" 

What is she planning. This is the first time she's ever suggested to drink...

"Okay...I'll go out and get some.." 

Is she going to kill me when she gets me drunk..?

JiYong came back with a couple bottles of soju.

"Whaaaaa Soju!" Dara clapped her hands excitedly.

2 bottles finished..

Dara's face was bright red, while JiYong watched her stumble around the couches.

"Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" Dara exclaimed loudly pointing at JiYong.

Whyyy isn't he druuunk? His cheeks aren't red...

Dara tilted her head and stared at JiYong.

"Come hereeeeeee" Dara said.

JiYong got up and walked over to her.

Dara leaned in close and smiled brightly at him.

"W-w-what are you doing.." 

Dara pushed him onto the couch and crawled on top of him.

thump thump thump

"Dara what are you doing" 

Dara didn't say anything.

She touched her nose with his.

She is so drunk..

"Take it offffff" Dara said pulling at his shirt.

Ehhhhhhhhh?

"Yah yah yah...Dara you're too drunk..." Ji said pulling her had away.

"Nono no..I wannnt thiiiiis" She said batting her lashes pulling at his shirt once again..

"No, you're going to bed" JiYong said lifting her up, her legs crossed around his waist.

Dara covered his eyes.

"Yaa...stop playing around. Go sleep you're too drunk."

"JiYong-ahhh" she cooed.

"Hmm?"

She wraped her arms around his neck tightly.

"I really wish you weren't the one..then it would be bad..." she said softly.

The one?

"The one what?" JiYong asked.

No answer.

"Dara?"

No answer.

JiYong chuckled when he realized she had fallen asleep.

He gently layed her down on her bed and sat down next to her.

He couldn't understand what it was he was feeling. His heart sped up everytime she came close, her smile made him warm and fluttery inside...

"Do I like you?"

Ahhhhhhh my head..

What happened last night....

Dara scrunched her face trying to remember what happened.

Jiyong made his way to Dara's room with porridge and water, but stopped.

"Did he take off his shirt..did I see..?" she wondered outloud.

"See what?" JiYong asked walking in.

She widened her eyes,

"Nothing.....saw nothing. I didn't see anything" She said quickly.

 Jiyong set the tray down and sat down next to Dara.

"Hows your head?" Dara asked.

"My head? You mean your head..." 

"No..we both drank last night..so if my head hurts, so would yours right?" 

"Only you drank"

"...then..."

Dara stopped and realized he drank water.

She punched him lightly on the arms and scrunched her nose.

"Here drink some water, you still have a hangover." Jiyong said reaching for the water.

Reporter Shin taped newly taken pictures on his wall.

"I'm pretty sure she's the one" He said rubbing his chin.

Flashback

Reporter Shin packed up his bag. He had just taken a few shots of the beach, when he noticed a female's voice.

He set his stuff down quietly and looked to see where the noise was coming from.

He crept up behind a huge boulder and noticed a young man laying on the sand, but he didn't see anyone else.

He looked out into the water, and noticed a champagne pink tail, before it disappeared completely into the water.

Mermaid?

"Daraaaa I miss you" 

Dara smiled, she missed Donghae too. They'd have at least one long phone call every week. Although they work at the same company, Donghae is usually too busy, and JiYong keeps Dara pretty busy- delivering files,making appointments, writing emails etc.

"Whos that?" said someone in the background.

"A friend" Donghae answered.

"Donghae-ah, are you staying with someone?" Dara asked.

"Yea my friend came to visit me, you should visit me too"

"Hm..since I'm going to Japan with JiYong in a couple days, I'll visit tomorrow" 

"Japan? Oh, for the SMILE fundraiser?" 

"Mhm"

"Alright"

"Let me taaaalk" the voice whined in the background.

"Ya Chanyeol shush. Sorry Dara, I have to go, I need to help him with something. I'll see you tomorrow. Goodnight"

"Goodnight"

"JiYong-ahhh" Dara called out from here room.

No answer.

His office door was close, so she opened it just a little.

He was so focused, he didn't see or hear her.

Dara stared at him.

The way his eyes furrowed whenever he found a mistake.

The way he ruffled his hair when he get stuck on something.

The way he bites his lip while concentrating.

"Enjoying the view?"

The way his voice sounds when he teases her.

Dara blinked.

He caught her.

"Heh...no. I'm going to Donghae's tomorrow I just wanted to visit him before we head to Japan okay? I'll see the next day. goodnight"

She closed his door quickly.

"Come back here" he called out.

She walked in slowly.

"From what time to what time will you be gone?" 

"Uhm..all day"

"What time. To what time?" 

"Uhm..he's coming to pick me up at 8..and then I'll be home by..9?" 

JiYong became silent.

A scary silent.

"8. I'll come pick you up. You still need to pack for Japan"

"Yes sir"

"Goodnight Dara"

"Goodnight"

Dara scurried out of her room and fell onto her bed, clutching her pillow.

She could not get the image of JiYong out of her head.

"Let me warn you, Chanyeol is a bit crazy. He's only staying here for a few days until s get back" Donghae explained to Dara on the car ride.

Donghae parked the car, but before he coul even get out the car, Chanyeol burst out the front door and ran to the car.

"Hi Dara noona!" Chanyeol opened the door for Dara.

"Hi Chanyeol!" Dara answered back just as enthusiastically.

"Noona wanna see something cool" 

Dara nodded.

Chanyeol turned the laptop to Dara and pressed play.

All 9 EXO singing dancing on stage.

"Wait for it...." Chanyeol clapped his hands together.

"Noona did you see? That was me!" Chanyeol grinned.

"Can you do it again" Dara asked excitedly.

Chanyeol cleared his voice, got up and did his rap, jumping around while Dara cheered and jumped around with him.

"Ya sit down. You guys didn't even have breakfast yet, how are you so energetic" Donghae called from the kitchen.

Around 7:30 pm JiYong's car pulled up to Donghae's house.

JiYong: I'm outside. Let's go.

Dara frowned at the message. He was half an hour early. 

"Noona what's wrong?" Chanyeol noticed her expression change.

"My boss is here, I have to go.." she pouted.

"Aww..." Chanyeol pouted with her.

Donghae and Chanyeol walked her outside.

"Dara noona, I'll miss you. Please watch me on t.v. and I'll give you special passes to come to my shows okay?" Chanyeol said and pulled Dara into a hug.

He rested his head on top of hers.

Dara chuckled and gave him a quick hug back and ran towards JiYong's car.

She waved goodbye as the car pulled away.

"Who was that" 

"Donghae's superstar friend"

"Superstar?"

"Yea..Chanyeol from EXO. He can rap, he sounded so cool, wanna hear?" Dara pulled out her phone.

"No"

Dara pouted and played anyway.

JiYong walked into Dara's room as she was stuffing her suitcase.

"How many days are we going to be there?" she asked.

"4 days"

"What clothes should I pack?"

"Your normals are fine. Don't forget to bring a formal dress too" 

"Formal dress?" She picked up the white dress that Donghae has bought for her on the first day they met.

"No." 

"Oh..so what kind then?"

"Just..don't worry about it then. We'll deal with it later"

Dara stared at the blue sea below her.

Bommie...I miss you so much..

"Dara are you okay?" JiYong noticed tears forming in her eyes.

"Yea. I'm fine" Dara swiped the tears away.

"We're almost there okay?"

JiYong and Dara arrived at Tokyo, where JiYong's friend picked them up.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Kiko Mizuhara" 

Dara smiled and bowed lightly.

She is so pretty.

Kiko introduced them to some of the stores, where JiYong helped Dara pick out a dress for the fundraiser event.

 JiYong sat on the couch waiting while the stylists worked on Dara behind closed curtains.

She stepped out in a thigh length strapless chiffon champagne pink dress. It wasn't poofy, yet it wasn't too straight either.

She wore a pair of champagne colored platform and a silver clutch.

"What do you think?" 

JiYong glanced up, immediately speechless.

Dara gave a small spin.

"JiYong?"

He cleared his throat.

"Its good"

Its more than good..Is this even the same Dara?
