Dara raised her dagger and lunged forward, Donghae was able to dodge it- he took many fighting classes as a kid.

"Dara why are you doing this"

"I have to" she replied in a cold tone.

This isn't the same Dara I know. Something is different about her..

"Dara I never hurt you, I would never do that" Donghae replied while dodging her attacks.

"You killed her. All of you did" 

She ran after him, now with both daggers in hand.

Dondhae ran into his room and locked his door.

"Dara tell me whats wrong. Why do you have to kill me" he asked through the door.

Dara paused.

He really doesn't know..? No no.. he must be faking it. He faked not knowing me..

"NO. You're a liar." she repliedand stabbed her dagger through the door.

Thankfully it wasn't able to go all the way through.

"No Dara. I didn't hurt anyone. I would never. I only lied about knowing was because I wanted to get to know you better.." 

Dara stopped.

"Donghae..please don't lie to me.." her voice seemed to softened.

"Tell me everything, please" Donghae pleaded.

She sat down and leaned against the door.

"My omma.." 

Donghae could hear her crying, he wanted to open the door and hug her, but he wasn't sure if it was safe enough. Dara could still want to kill him.

"I'm listening Dara..tell me everything, let me help you"

"They took her heart..." 

Dara explained what had happened 5 years ago in the sea.

After listening to everything, he opened the door.

Dara was still crying but her daggers were gone.

She finally revealed the story of the dragon tattoo, and the boy who had it. Of course Donghae knew who it was. 

"I want to find him myself. I want to stab him, and let him know what pain he caused me." 

Donghae nodded. He decided he's not going to tell her yet. Let her figure it out herself. 

He hugged her for a long time, all the chasing and crying had tired her out, so she fell asleep quite fast in his arm.

He carried her back to her bed and tucked her.

Dara I hope you find him soon.

Ji Yong and Nana have repaired their broken relationship within the month they got back together, as for Dara and Donghae they continued living as if nothing ever happened.

Dara saw JiYong everyday at work, occasionally Nana came to visit.

Dara looked out her office window.

It was her first time experiencing snow.

During the winter times when she lived undersea, the water would get really cold near the surface, and that was extremely dangerous to merfolf. Their tails could freeze and that would mean trouble.

They are very sensitve to extreme weathers.

"You like snow?" Ji Yong looked up to see Dara staring out the window in awe.

"Yea..." she replied still mesmerized.

Bzz Bzz

"Dara your phones ringing" JiYong said taking notice of the caller.

Donghae

Dara quickly ran back to chair and picked up her phone.

"Hello" she answered.

"Today?"

Pause.

"Reallly!"

Dara leaped out of her seat. JiYong looked up at her.

"Now? Okay!" 

She hung up and started jumping around in excitement.

"Mr JiYong can I leave early today? Pleaseeee" Dara asked walking over to him.

"Why" 

"Because Donghae agreed to take me iceskating.."

"Ah..so a date huh"

"I guess..Can I please leave early?" 

"Okay." 

Dara bowed quickly and grabbed her bag and dashed out of the room.

TOP

"Hello?"

"Yo Ji, hows things with Nana?" TOP asked.

"Pretty good, she a few days ago to finish filming. Its her last scene" 

"...I would be a bad bestfriend if I didn't tell you this" 

"Hmm?"

"Watch the news" TOP said and hung up.

Ji the tv in his office.

"This just in: Nana Komatsu was caught with her lover while filming in the United States" a female new anchor announced, along with a picture of Nana and her co-star kissing.

Ji scoffed.

How stupid can I get..

He closed the tv and put his head down. He thought he had gotten her back entirely...guess not.

Dara and Donghae were walking to the icerink when her phone rang.

MrKwon

"Hello?" she answered.

"Dara..I have an emergency.." 

She stopped walking.

"What emergency" 

"I really need someone...I can't think of anything. I don't know what to do" 

"Arraso. I'm coming, where are you" 

"home"

"Alright I'll be right there"

"What's wrong?" Donghae asked.

"Can you take me to JiYong's house?" Dara asked.

"Alright.."

"JiYong where are you" Dara called out entering the house.

"Hereee" 

She spotted him with half empty wine bottle.

"You're heerrrreee" he smiled.

"You drank so much" Dara said scrunching her nose at the strong smell of alcohol.

"Dara let me tell you..I'm so tired...I'm very tired.." He said as tears dripped down his cheeks.

"What happened Ji, tell me" Dara said sitting him down on the couch.

"Nana...she's gone...she did  it again" JiYong said.

Dara just watched him cry and rant about Nana.

This is why I can't fall in love..

She pulled him into a hug hoping he would calm down a bit, and luckily he did.

She wiped his face and tucked him in.

"Dara..move back in. I have a special job for you" Ji said sitting down with Dara in the living room.

"Hmm? What special job" Dara asked.

"I don't want to see anything Nana related. She is going to be on the news for a few days, I don't want to see it"

"Ah...Okay! I'll do it. Mission block Nana!" 

"I called Donghae, he should be here soon with your stuff"

That night Dara decided it has been a while since she watched any drama.

She the tv and Nana's scandal story popped.

JiYong who saw seated next to her, looked at Dara.

She jumped up to block the tv with her body.

"You didn't see anything!!!" She shouted trying to block out the tv.

Ji was about to grab for the remote, when Dara did the crab.

She moved side to side while moving arms hands up and down.

"Watch the crab JiYong" Dara instructed and worked hard at becoming a crab.

He chuckled and just changed the channel.

"Or you can change the channel.." he said.

"Oh" 

"Sit down crab" 

"Okay"

Dara did a good job trying to block out any Nana news. She put on quite a show for him and he felt it was working. He enjoyed her presence more and more.

"Dara where else do you want to go on Seoul?" JiYong asked suddenly one morning.

"Hmmmm....somewhere with a lot of flowers" She said.

"Flower shop?" Ji joked.

She looked at him and scrunched her nose.

"NO..just somewhere where it is just a sea of flowers.." 

"Okay okay. Go change let's go"Ji Yong said.

"Whooooooaaaaaa" 

Dara walked into the field of flowers, JiYong behind her.

Up ahead, there was a picnic set up.

"JiYong looook" she pointed to the set up.

"You like it?" He asked.

"You set this up?"  she ran towards the blanket.

She sat on the blanket and looked at the flowers.

"You've never see this many flowers before?"

"No..I have..just not...like this"

Dara explored many coral reefs in many seas, however the flowers on land was a lot prettier. 

"So..have you found Dragon Tattoo yet?" He asked suddenly.

"No..I'm trying really hard." Dara replied.

He swore he saw something different in her eyes for just a second.

"Tell me. Maybe if you tell me more about him..or why you're looking for him...maybe I know him" 

Dara paused.

"He owes me something. Something very important.." Dara said.

 The conversation ended there, JiYong and Dara enjoyed the picnic and the view.

"Don't do anything suspicious..just keep close"

"Yes sir"

On the ride home, Dara had fallen sleep.

He carried her up stairs and tucked her in.

What do you want with me...

"Dara I'll be back later, this is an private meeting so you can't accompany me today" Ji said and left the house.

POOL

She ran into the pool room and jumped in.

Ahhh this feels good.

She swam all around and relax her eyes.

She didn't know how long she was in the pool, but JiYong's voice called out to her.

"Dara..? Did you leave?" 

She opened her eyes and tried to get ouf the pool, however she realized her tail won't dry fast enough this time.

She dove under and hope he wouldn't see her.

"Dara are you in here?" 

She closed her eyes as she heard the door open.

"Jiyonng" 

A much too familar voiced call out.

Dara opened her eyes.

Nana?

Luckily, Nana's voice stopped JiYong from opening the pool door.

He walked back to the living room to deal with her.

Dara still under the water, suddenly felt a strange aura.

A strange...yet familar aura.

She touched the pool floor, she could feel it.

How come I never felt this before..?

She swam from tile to tile, looked for the strange aura.

Thats when she saw it.

The aura seem to call out to her.

She swam to the tile and summond her daggers.

She dug at it, carving out the sides so she could lift open the tile and when she did, she saw a golden box.

Her heart stopped.

Omma..omma's heart..

Why does JiYong have it.

He couldn't have killed her.

No way.

He doesn't even have the tatto-

She realized she never checked if he had it.

She tried to pry it open with her daggers but it was no use. It was locked and the key was not under the tile.

Maybe he has it...

She put the box back under the tile and placed the tile back in it's place.

She plucked out a scale and placed it a crack in the tile.

I'll come back. I will.

She quickly swam back to the surface and dried her tail.

JiYong and Nana seemed to fighting, so she took the chance, and tried to sneak up to JiYong's room, hoping they wouldn't notice her.

"Dara?" 

She stopped.

Nana saw her and her face turned sour.

"Didn't she move back with Donghae?" 

"Yea. She is with me now. Get out. I don't want to hear anymore of your stupid excuses. I don't care anymore" 

With a huff, Nana stomped out.

"Where were you" JiYong asked turning to face Dara.

"No where" she answered coldy.

He didn't anything.

She turned around and went back upstairs.

Is she mad at me? What did I do..
