There are still a few more hours remaining before we head to the YG Headquarters but everyone is already busy preparing for our surprise attack.

I am still in my room and is thinking of sneaking my way down the basement to have a private talk with my manager, Se7en-oppa. I'm still shocked and confused to find one of my friends here. Is there something that Se7en-oppa hasn't told me yet? Does he know who and what i am from the start? How come he ended up captured here? I need to talk to him.

I successfully sneak my way in the basement without anyone noticing. I take a peek on the small window first before unlocking the door then carefully opening it to reveal a tortured Se7en.

I gasp. He seems unconscious. I feel my lips quiver so i try to bite it to keep me from screaming. I keep blinking my eyes so that i can stop myself from crying.

"This is horrible." I whisper.

I see Se7en-oppa stir and hear metals rubbing each other at the same time. I immediately run to his side.

"Oppa." I whisper. "Can you hear me? Wake up."

Se7en-oppa finally opens his eyes and stares at me. His eyes widen upon realizing that i am here.

"Jisoo-ah." Oppa's voice comes out rusty. "What are you doing here? Did they capture you as well?"

I shake my head and my tears finally fall. Se7en-oppa is still watching out for me. He doesn't even mind himself being chained and beaten up or cares how he looks right now. All he cares is me crying in front of him.

"What's wrong? Did they hurt you?" Se7en-oppa struggles to break free from the chain. "Those bastards! Wait till i get out of here."

"Oppa." I touch his bruised face. "I'm okay. I'm fine. They didn't hurt me and they never will."

Se7en-oppa scowls. "Then why are you here?"

I wipe my tears away and face him. "I should ask you the same thing. How did you end up here? Do you even know how dangerous these people are?"

I see Se7en-oppa biting his already cracked lips. He tries to look away but i grab his chin and force him to look back at me.

"You're keeping something from me. I just know it." I frown. "Tell me."

He contemplates before turning his wide eyes on me. He hangs his mouth open, looking incredulous.

"Don't tell me--" Se7en-oppa chokes his words. "You're the one Jongsuk was talking about. The one who will help me escape from this place!"

My eyes widen by the mention of my older brother's name. Se7en-oppa might've noticed it that he immediately purses his lips and bites it.

"You knew my brother?" I ask. I scoff when i haven't heard a response from him. "That explains it then."

I dig something out under my pocket and show it to Se7en-oppa. His eyes immediately widen upon seeing a familiar face.

"Where--"

It's a photo of my older brother, Lee Jongsuk who i thought is in New York, working but it seems like i was mistaken. In the photo i stole earlier from Mino, my brother is with the other men in cloaks and they happen to be the ones transferring whoever this Dara person is.

"It seems like you have a connection with my brother that's why you ended up here in the first place." I furrow my eyebrows. "And it looks to me like you two already have an idea of my kind."

"Jisoo-ah--"

"Oppa!" I almost scream. I take a deep breath and try again. "Oppa, tell me the truth. Tell me what's really going on here!"

"I--" Se7en-oppa stutters. "I don't know where to start."

"Start from the very beginning."

Se7en-oppa sighs before shaking the chains on his wrists and ankles. "Before that, would you mind freeing me from these?"

I close my eyes before standing up. I pick up the keys hanging on the door and unlock the chains bounding Se7en-oppa on the wall. Se7en-oppa shakes his wrists, checking if they're still attached to his body.

"My real name is Choi Dongwook. I'm a Keeper."

"Keeper?" I scowl. "That's the third time i heard that word. What exactly are they?"

"We're just ordinary people without any supernatural powers, a blank as what your kind usually calls us." Se7en-oppa answers. "We're Protectors trained to protect Bestowed like you."

"What?"

"I know. Weird, right?" Se7en-oppa laughs. "But that's our job. We make sure no one takes advantage of your kin
