INFORMATION

Hi guys! So this is the first update/bump post of this contest! If you're also part of the Shoes of a Unicorn Writing Contest, then you know the drill (and i love you very much for joining me here as well!). For the newcomers, welcome to From Head to Toes Writing Contest! Thank you so much for expressing interest in the contest! I hope to read your lovely stories soon! I'll be posting updates on the 15th of every month for this contest to address anything that I feel you all should know and to also bump the contest to the front page to hopefully garner more participants. I'll try not to spam you all with notifications, since I know that can be a bit bothersome, and I'm hoping we'll all have a lot of fun with this!
 
As EXO continues having comebacks, I will be adding more albums to the prize list (yay for more prizes!!) and songs to the song list. The preference list may also be updated from time to time, so you can always check back every so often to see if I add anything. I just want to take a moment to thank iiluvbubbletea, because she is the most amazing person on the planet and agreed to provide graphics as prizes even though she's busy with school. She's great, so go be friends with her and support her, haha.
 
I'm going to try to keep these update posts relatively short, about two-three paragraphs long, so I don't run out of information to put in them and they don't take too much of your time to read. Anyway, please continue to write stories, submit entries, and promote the contest! If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please contact me via the comment box, my wall, or private messages. I respond to all messages within 24 hours. And if you'd like to be a karma donator, please contact me so we can discuss the specifics. I will repay you for your generosity! Have a lovely holiday season, everyone! See you in 2017!

Chapter 25: Thank you so much for hosting! It's been a hell of a ride and a hell of an inspiration for me, personally as a writer, and I really appreciate all that you've pulled through with, even through everything that's happened lately. So thanks for all the hard work and dedication you've put into this contest, and all the positive vibes you've created as well.

Chapter 25: first of all, i'd just like to say thank you so much for hosting this contest. you've been having an extremely rough time and i'm so happy you're feeling well enough to announce winners. everyone has been taking jonghyun's passing really hard. it took me a solid three days to realize it was real and not some news source's sick, awful prank.

i'm really grateful i was able to place eighth despite the fact that everyone was confused af in my comments. i was super nervous that it was horrible or something. congrats to all of the winners!!

Chapter 25: Thank you so much for hosting this contest! This is my first time participating in one and you made it as enjoyable as possible for me with the list of prizes and updates. honestly speaking I have been on writer's block for months ever since Pretend was published but somehow reading this today really made me wanna just sit down in front of my laptop and quickly start on my half-completed stories. I guess it's the motivation to do better :) anyway, thank you again!

Chapter 25: Ahhh, I’ve never actually participated in a contest before - I always said to myself ‘maybe I’ll do that!’ and then I never did. But I’m glad that wasn’t the case this time.
Thank you for doing this contest, and thank you so much for your message on Jonghyun. I’ve only just been able to start reading stuff again so I can only imagine how hard it was for you. But you did it! You read all the entries and you finished this contest, that’s as much of an achievement as people finishing their stories. And on the topic of finishing stories... I finished one! Granted it was a one-shot but I finished it! I am glad that I found this contest 24 hours before the deadline... because it gave me a push that I needed. But next time I’ll definitely look towards joining before the deadline hahaha
No matter what my ranking, I’m happy with myself for writing something so thank you for helping me to do that :)
And I’m happy with my ranking too!
