INFORMATION

Hi guys! The new EXO album is coming out in just three days!! I am beyond excited and the teasers have been AMAZING so far!! Just one more teaser left before the album drops!! I'm still forever salty about Baekhyun's mullet (what was his hairstylist thinking, my god) and Lay not being part of the album (even though i know it's because of politics, just the way he's been treated by companies and netizens alike lately makes me upset), but at the very least, we're getting a great comeback this summer and BLONDE CHEN HAS COME TO BLESS THE WORLD. THIS IS HIS ERA. FIGHT ME IF YOU DISAGREE. But I will concede that this is also Xiumin and D.O's era, haha. (and if u wanna see some dank exo memes, u can click here and judge me lol)
 
Since EXO's new album is dropping in a few days, I'm adding both the Korean version and the Chinese version of The War to the prize list! In terms of versions, the winners of those albums will have a choice between the Regular A, Regular B, and Private versions for each language. I won't be offering all six versions, because then I'd have to offer all twenty versions of EXODUS, all eighteen versions of Sing for You, all four versions of EX'ACT, and all three versions of Hey Mama!. I don't have the money to offer all of that and as of now, I don't think I'll even need that many prizes since I have twelve extra prizes based on the entry count as of writing this update. So I'd rather not buy albums that I won't have any use for and will end up selling, and just wait to buy the specific cover of those albums that the winners want. So if you really want those specific albums, do your best on your entries so that you'll place higher in the ranking and have a better chance to choose which specific prizes you want! :)
 
The song list will also be updated as soon as The War drops and I have a chance to listen to the tracklist. If the teasers have been anything to go by so far, this album will probably be their best yet. Every song snippet has been so amazing so far (especially forever omg that teaser killed me). On the topic of adding new songs, I've added Young & Free, which is such a fun song and probably my favorite SM Station 2 release so far after Take You Home, of course. (black-haired, exposed forehead xiumin is my weakness.) I've also added Ka-CHING! and I know I'm super late on that, haha. I don't usually listen to Japanese discography, unless there's a Korean version (like SNSD's Mr. Taxi and Catch Me If You Can), but my friend showed me Ka-CHING! after my finals and I've been addicted to it ever since, hehe.
 
Round Six of my other writing contest, Shoes of a Unicorn Writing Contest, is currently open to everyone and the deadline for that is August 6, 2017! In case you don't want to wait until the end of the year to win some K-Pop merch, go ahead and enter there as well. It's a great opportunity to win more stuff, especially since your entries can be entered in both contests! ^^

Chapter 25: Thank you so much for hosting! It's been a hell of a ride and a hell of an inspiration for me, personally as a writer, and I really appreciate all that you've pulled through with, even through everything that's happened lately. So thanks for all the hard work and dedication you've put into this contest, and all the positive vibes you've created as well.

Chapter 25: first of all, i'd just like to say thank you so much for hosting this contest. you've been having an extremely rough time and i'm so happy you're feeling well enough to announce winners. everyone has been taking jonghyun's passing really hard. it took me a solid three days to realize it was real and not some news source's sick, awful prank.

i'm really grateful i was able to place eighth despite the fact that everyone was confused af in my comments. i was super nervous that it was horrible or something. congrats to all of the winners!!

Chapter 25: Thank you so much for hosting this contest! This is my first time participating in one and you made it as enjoyable as possible for me with the list of prizes and updates. honestly speaking I have been on writer's block for months ever since Pretend was published but somehow reading this today really made me wanna just sit down in front of my laptop and quickly start on my half-completed stories. I guess it's the motivation to do better :) anyway, thank you again!

Chapter 25: Ahhh, I’ve never actually participated in a contest before - I always said to myself ‘maybe I’ll do that!’ and then I never did. But I’m glad that wasn’t the case this time.
Thank you for doing this contest, and thank you so much for your message on Jonghyun. I’ve only just been able to start reading stuff again so I can only imagine how hard it was for you. But you did it! You read all the entries and you finished this contest, that’s as much of an achievement as people finishing their stories. And on the topic of finishing stories... I finished one! Granted it was a one-shot but I finished it! I am glad that I found this contest 24 hours before the deadline... because it gave me a push that I needed. But next time I’ll definitely look towards joining before the deadline hahaha
No matter what my ranking, I’m happy with myself for writing something so thank you for helping me to do that :)
And I’m happy with my ranking too!
