It wasn’t uncommon to find Shuya at Impression’s Winter Market. With as many people as Shuya knew, he received invites to just about every event that AIASF hosted, and the winter market was no different. Shuya wouldn’t have missed this year’s market for anything, though; Frankie was working at one of the booths.
He and his friends decided to go as a group, though none of them, with the exception of him and Hinata, had any real interest in art; on the night of the market they, along with Senri and Kiyoshi, left the First House together and made the brief trip over to the sports center, where the market was being held. Their group attracted plenty of attention as they walked through and grew in number as Seiko found and joined them by attaching herself to Hinata’s arm. Shuya met the gazes of quite a few of his exes as they walked from booth to booth but he didn’t pay them much attention; he was actually surprised at how far away that part of his life seemed to be, and was even more surprised that he didn’t miss it.
“What booth is Frankie working?” Senri inquired as they walked.
“They’re selling Christmas decorations,” Shuya responded, his eyes scanning each booth for Frankie’s face. It took a while (she was so short) but he finally spotted her, nestled in a small group of shoppers as she talked to them about garland.
