trying to see through the side window if anyone was home. The

door opened and a pair of innocent eyes look up at you. "Is your

mother here?" You asked, shocked that there was a child here

because your father had said his sister lived alone. The head

disappeared and the door swung inwards.

"Auntie~?" Going inside cautiously, you take off your shoes and

glance curiously around the dingy apartment. It was slightly dreary and a cold

draft made you turn and quickly close the door. Dust motes floated

from the ceiling and you uneasily glanced around. "Hello~? Is

anyone home?" The girl came bounding down the stairs and put her

finger to her lips, "Shhh, you'll wake up mommy." You go to the bedroom

and a strong smell of alcohol hits you, and you see a figure lying

on a bed. This situation was familiar to you who had lived with your

father in Seoul, you knew what to do. Pushing up your sleeves you

take off your aunt's  shoes and socks and tuck her into bed. Going

out you gasped at the mess in the living room and kitchen, 

wondering how you didn't see it. Dishes teetered on the edge of the

counter with leftovers strewn here and there; you cleaned up until

you noticed the girl again, sitting alone in the living room.

"Hmm..What's your name?" The girl looked up and said "Heejoo, I'm

six!" *What a cute name, but now I know that Aunt had probably

had you while you were in Seoul. She should be taking care of her

own child!!* you thought angrily. "Im your cousin, Hana. Heejoo, are you

hungry?" Heejoo nodded and looked up at you through thick

eyelashes. *Aigoo she is so cute!* The only thing you could find in

the cupboards was cup ramen, and you decided there needed to be

shopping done. After quickly making the ramen, you started to

finish cleaning up; years of living with your dad made you hate

disorganization and messiness. "Ah Im finally done!" 

You open up your wallet, and grimaced. You knew that the little

money you had wouldn't last long. Looking down at Heejoo you softened, 

"Do you want to go shopping with me? We can buy groceries to make curry

tonight!" Heejoo looked up to you in awe and taking her hand you

went out the door.
