“Go back to college.” Jaebum whispers while the two lay in bed. Youngjae giggles lightly when he feels Jaebum’s hand twisting pieces of his hair.

“Why should I?” 

“I want you to have a good life.” 

Youngjae sits up in the bed and looks at Jaebum with a serious look, “I am having a good life.”

“No,” Jaebum sits up as well, “I don’t want you to continue working in little shops for the rest of your life. I know you wanted to be a music teacher. Go back to that.”

“Well, what are you going to do?” Youngjae replies.

“I will go to college with you to be a photographer.” Jaebum smiles when he sees a soft smile spread on his boyfriends face.

“Would you take pictures of me?” Youngjae pats his chest while stretching.

“Only if you were .” Jaebum leans in to bite the shell of Youngjae’s ear. Youngjae screeches and starts hitting Jaebums chest.

“You are such a ert!” 

Jaebum smirks casually, “Yeah, but a y ert.”

4 1/2 years later

“Guys! I want to take a picture of you.” Jinyoung yells at the two boys while they joke around.

“Why???” Youngjae whines, stomping his foot. Jinyoung gives a motherly smile.

“My two favorite boys in the world are graduating college! This is exciting!” Jinyoung pushes Jaebum and Youngjae together and lifts a polaroid camera to his face.

“Really? A ing polaroid?” Jaebum criticizes when Jinyoung takes the developing picture out of the slot.

“You know I am an aesthetic nerd.” Jinyoung pushes up his glasses. 

“Ah!” Youngjae perks up, “How is your job going?” Jinyoung decided to be a writer after he transferred colleges.

“It’s good. I enjoy it very much.” Jinyoung looks at his watch and his eyes widen. “! I need to pick up Yugyeom from his job at the coffee shop. Can I leave?”

“Wow, I can’t believe you are leaving your two best friends for your little boyfriend.” Jaebum fake cries into Youngjae’s shoulder.

“He’s important to me! I’m going to go! I hope you guys don’t trip up the stairs like losers. Bye!!” Jinyoung walks away slightly waving behind him.

Youngjae sighs and smiles, “We are getting old aren't we?” Jaebum laughs at the tone of Youngjae’s voice.

“Yeah we are. Are you sad?” 

“No, I am just thinking of the first time we met. You were yodeling and I wanted to murder you. But in the day times you would sing such pretty melodies. Then one night I decided to tell you off, but I couldn’t. You were so….so beautiful.” Youngjae reaches to grab Jaebum’s hand.

“You know when my friends were staying over?”

“Yeah, how could I forget. You storming in there saying, ‘Listen man, The cops are after me. I need to stay here for a while.’ It scared the out of me.” Youngjae laughs.

“My friends didn’t even come over. I stayed at your house for like a week and then when we got into that fight I remember I trashed my apartment just so you would come over and help me.”

“Jaebutt!!! You used advantage of me!” Youngjae hits his shoulder in shock. Jaebum grins with the look of love glistening in his eyes.

“But it worked out, didn’t it?” 

“Yeah, it did.” Youngjae puts his hand on Jaebum’s shoulders.
