“You ready to go?” Jaebum peaks his head into their bathroom looking at Youngjae. They moved back in the apartment around 2 weeks ago and now was the day Youngjae has been waiting for, the yodeling party.

“I have no idea what I am going to wear.” Youngjae runs his hand through his hand through his head, stress on his features.

Jaebum laughs quietly, “Just wear a t shirt. We don’t have an official dress code or anything.” 

“Alright, I should be ready in like 5 minutes.” Youngjae grabs his toothbrush.

“Wowza, you look hot.” Jaebum winks when Youngjae walks out of the room.

“Okay, 1.) Did you really ing say ‘Wowza’ and 2.) I am wearing a t-shirt and skinny jeans?? How is that hot?” Youngjae questions as they walk out of the apartment.

“I get to see your in the jeans.” Jaebum bites his lip and winks. Youngjae glares at his boyfriend.

“I can’t believe I am dating a boy!!” Youngjae yells making the both of them laugh.

“Jaebum, I’m not ready. What if I am not good enough for them?” Youngjae grabs Jaebum’s arm as the pull up to the party. Jaebum chuckles while looking at his boyfriend.

“It isn’t like you are meeting my parents! We are just 2 gay 20 year olds going to a yodeling party. This is a normal life.” Jaebum unbuckles his seatbelt and gets out of the car.

“Oh, my gooooooodddddd.” Youngjae groans while rubbing his face. “I shouldn’t have proposed this idea.” Youngjae sluggishly unbuckles his seatbelt and gets out of the car. When he sets foot on the gravel, Jaebum is immediately beside him, grabbing his hand.

“These parties can get wild. Honestly we don’t even yodel here, we just drink and talk.” Youngjae’s mouth swings open in shock.

“I didn’t know you drank at these things! I thought you yodeled and like ate Swedish meatballs!” 

Jaebum laughs loudly, “It is a party, of course we drink. It is only called a yodeling party because we all have interests in yodeling.”

“What did I get myself into?” 

“I want you beside me at all times, alright?” Jaebum places Youngjae in front of him, looking into his eyes, “There are some people here that aren’t good. I don’t know if that is the case today or not. Just to be safe, do not go out of my sight.” Jaebum grabs Youngjae’s hand with a steel grip, crushing the bones in his hand.

“Jaebum!! I haven’t seen you here in forever!” A girl runs up to him and gives him a short hug.

“Yeah, I have something to preoccupy my time.” He laughs slightly. Youngjae awkwardly stands there with his hands in his pockets.

“Is it him?” The girl nudges her head towards Youngjae. 

Jaebum blushes, “Yeah.” The girls eyes widen with excitement.

She turns to Youngjae and pulls him into a bone crushing hug, “Hi, I’m Wheein!” 

Youngjae hugs back awkwardly, “I’m Youngjae.” 

Wheein pulls back to look into Youngjae’s eyes, “I want to thank you for making my Jaebummie happy! He was in a slump the last time I sa-“

“Alright, Youngjae lets go inside.” Jaebum waves to Wheein and grabs Youngjae’s hand once again.

“If you need anything Youngjae just call my name!” She yells to the couple while waving wildly.
