Jay was figetting in her plane seat, playing with the ring Chanyeol gave her. After moving back to the US Jay had put the ring on a thin silver chain and wore it around her neck., always close to her heart. 

"Jay, if you keep fiddling with that stupid ring I'm going to rip it off and throw it out the window." Her companion said

"Hiro, you do that and I'll chop your balls off" she said glaring at him, the boy rolled his eyes.

Jay's ring was one of her most precious belongings, she wore it every day and every night. She didn't wear it on her finger in case on of the boys looked at pictures of her on the internet, she did however always wear the bracelet that exo had gotten her years before. When Jay had to attend formal events she would tuck her ring and chain away in her purse, always keeping it near her. She once thought she misplaced it and cried for hours looking for it until she found it tucked away in the clutch she used the night before for a formal.
