Faking it

“If  you cared then you would’ve seen through me when I faked my actions.”

        Everything starting from her smile to her actions are and were fake. Even the slightest thing about him would tear her apart. The mention of his name stings her heart, and the way he still cares for her hurts her soul. He’s oblivious to the whole situation. It doesn’t matter to him that she’s hurt because his world is revolved around his girlfriend. No one is wounded but her. Two years of agony went by for Jisoo. It may have felt like a breeze to her friends, but to Jisoo it was a time of suffering. Coughing out petals every time she would hang out with Jungkook wasn’t so well in her opinion. She’s a wreck because of him.

          “Jisoo!” Chaeyoung hollers.

          “Yes?” Jisoo asks as she turns to face her friend.

          “Everyone has left but you,” Chaeyoung says. “Well excluding me because I was waiting for you.”

          “I didn’t realize office hours were over.”

          “Yeah, what were you dosing off about?”

          “Nothing important,” Jisoo tells the younger female - with a visible smile.

          There’s not much on Jisoo’s mind as she returns home will a pile of mail in her hand. While climbing stairs to her apartment floor, Jisoo hears yelling from what seems to be a couple. As Jisoo enters the hall of her apartment complex, she recognizes her neighbor fighti
