7. Nightmares
In Search of Unrequited LoveNightmares:
He grips onto her shoulders and gets down to her height previous to asking her, “Would you like me to sleep with you?”
Her mind is always polluted with bad thoughts. There are times when she’s afraid of herself. The self hate she has for herself all coming from one stupid thing she couldn’t achieve. No one really knows. She is dead. Hwang Jisoo killed herself.
Walking behind the man, Jisoo’s eyes start to shut. Her body can’t sleep any longer due to the frequent nightmares she has been having. She looks down at her wrist clock to see that it’s eleven p.m. Jisoo gets rid of a small sigh before her eyes start to shut again.
After walking for a well mannered time, the pair views a river with a bridge topping it. The cars zooming past add a nice color to the dark night sky.
“Why did you bring me here?” Jisoo asks. She looks at him admiring the scene with the breeze going through his hair. His bangs frames his face well with the dark brown hair color that compliments his golden complexion.
A smile is brought onto V’s face before telling Jisoo, “I enjoy coming here when I’m stressed. It’s really quiet and nice.”
He then sits on the grass, and she does the same.
“Tae-I m-mean V. No, Boss. . You have so many names you go by. Do they even mean anything to you?” Jisoo asks, in a sarcastic tone.
There’s awkward silence that fills the air. Jisoo slowly lowers herself after stating such boldness. She mentally curses at herself as she looks away from him.
“V for victory,” he tells her. “Coup d’etat. Success. Triumph. Everything I promised to be after leaving her. Everything I promised to be after surgery. Everything I promised to be after my resurrection.”
