I got back to the hotel early and packed up all of my stuff. Youngbae was in his room and I left my room silently before opening the door to his. He looked up from his phone and beckoned me over with a smile. I timidly walked over and sat next to him. He was facing timing Hyo rin and I waved at the camera. “Ah, JiYong-ah” she smiled “how are you?” she asked kindly.
 
“I’m good, and you?” I lied. She replied with a similar answer and I was about to get up to leave Youngbae and her in peace but Youngbae pulled my down and gave me a firm look. I smiled and leant my head on his shoulder.
 
“What happened to your hand?” he asked.
 
“I bashed it in the shower.” It was the answer that I was telling everybody.
 
“Doesn’t look like it.” He said firmly. Hyo rin looked at my bandaged hand through the camera. “It looks bad.” She commented. I held my hand to my chest and looked away. “Let me see it JiYong.” I tried to get up and escape but he held firmly onto my sleeve. I gave in and he slowly undid the bandage. “Oh my word.” He winced as my hand was revealed.
 
The slightly purple bruise had spread and my whole hand was swollen, the purple had now gone blue and green and Youngbae froze. “You didn’t do this in the shower did you?” he whispered. He then turned to his phone screen.
 
“Can I call you back baby?” she nodded and blew him a kiss before hanging up. He then turned back to me. “JiYong, how did this happen?” I cringed and tears welled up in my eyes.
 
“I told you, I whacked it in the shower, why don’t you believe me?”
 
“Because you’re not that clumsy.” He stated. I pulled my hand out of his.
 
“I’m meant to be your best friend; you could at least believe me when I tell you things.”  I protested. I tried to leave but Youngbae jumped up from the bed and pulled me over again. “I’m sorry JiYong but I worry about you sometimes, you just get these random bruises all the time.” He pulled me into a hug and I returned it, knowing that he was only nosy because he cared about me so much.
 
“You would tell me if something was wrong right?” he asked. I nodded guiltily.
 
“I have to pack.” I choked out before leaving. When I got back to my room I sighed and fell against the wall. I decided to take a shower before the flight and where something nice for once. I used the hotels soap and washed my hair and body before stepping out of the shower and pulling the gown on. I hadn’t packed my toiletries and I added a layer of BB cream to my dark circles and some on the bruise on my wrist, just to be safe.
