"You need me?" I asked, my voice just as quiet as hers.

"I need you," she repeated, louder this time.

I sat up, the bed sheets ruffling around me.

"I'm scared," Bom began, her voice wavering. "I've never told anybody about this."

"I've never told anyone about Dara before you," I said softly, "but it gets better. After you tell someone about it and everything."

She let out a shaky breath. "I - his name was Seunghyun."

"Was?"

"He - he died."

"Oh," I said, shocked, "I didn't know."

"Yeah, he got into a car accident last May."

"I'm sorry."

"Don't be," she breathed out, "it's not your fault."

And at that moment, as she told me about her late ex-boyfriend, Choi Seunghyun, I felt, for once, as if I really did know Bom.

"What are you doing here?" Bom asked as she opened the door to her house. It was the next day, and quite frankly, after our little talk last night, I just wanted to be there for her.

"I just wanted to be here, is that so bad?"

Bom grinned slightly, "Oh, so you want to be here now? Just a few months ago, I had to force you to hang out with me."

"Pfft, that was ages ago, Bom. Now, are you going to let me in or what?"

"Hmm, I don't know," she began, squinting her eyes slightly as if deep in thought.

I rolled my eyes, "I brought pizza." I said, gesturing to the box of pizza in my hand.

"Well, why didn't you just say so? Come on in."

"This is nice."

"This pizza? Yeah, it really is."

Bom shook her head. "No, well, yeah, this pizza is good, but I was more so talking about us."

"Us?" I echoed, not sure where this is going.<
