I Need You
FEAR"You know, you know basically everything about me yet I know absolutely nothing about you," I began in wonder one day. "Why's that?"
Bom laughed as she sat crisscrossed on the couch, folding her hands delicately across her lap. "That's because there's nothing worth knowing about me."
"Bull."
"Swearing was not necessary, you know, Ji?"
I scoffed, "Of course it was necessary. I've never heard a bigger lie in my entire life. And trust me, I've heard a whole lot of bull in my life, and this has got to be the biggest lie of the century."
Bom rolled her eyes, "Alright, what do you want to know?"
"You've heard all about my depressing love story, so what about you?"
"What about me?"
I shrugged, "Have you ever been in love?"
Bom pursed her lips for a moment, her eyes slightly narrow. Then, she nodded curtly. "Yeah, once."
She didn't say anything else for a moment, and I didn't push it. Bom sighed, looking down at her hands. "I'm not over it yet." She whispered softly.
She was like me. She is like me.
"You'll get over it one day," I said softly. "I'll make sure of that."

I don't know why I said that, or why I thought that I could possibly help her collect her broken pieces when mine were equally as broken. But for some reason, I just felt like trying to helping her.
I wanted to help her.
I wanted to be the one that would un-break her just as she had unbroken me.

I sighed, laying in bed, unable to go to sleep. I wanted to go to sleep, but I couldn't. Reaching over, I grabbed my phone, staring at it blankly.
