Chapter 11: The Dinner

It's Saturday 5pm. Taeyeon and her sister are getting ready for the dinner her father planned. She totally didn't want to go to dinner but she just agreed to it. Since Taeyeon isn't that girly so she decided to just wear a black pants with a white blouse and red tie. The guest will arrive at 6pm and her father wants her to greet them. 

 

''Unnie, is Jiwoon coming to the dinner '' Haeyeon asked

'' No. '' 

''Why '' she asked and frowned

''I don't know and I don't care Haeyeon'' she said while putting her clothes on,

''Jeez, I was just asking you don't have to react like that. '' Haeyeon said

'

Taeyeon ignored her sister.

 

''What's wrong with you anyway, you've been acting like a complete towards everyone. '' she said and rolled her eyes.

''Nothing. '' she coldly said walked over to the mirror and put her tie on.

''There's obviously something wrong, you know you can tell me anything '' she said and walked up to her sister and patted her shoulder.

''I know '' she said and lowered her head ''I'm just tired i guess. '' she faked a smile

''I know your lying but I'll let it go. You'll tell me when your ready right and don't forget to smile '' she sincerely smiled

 

She nodded

 

''Araso, I'll be going downstairs. The guest will arrive in less than 5 minutes so PALE!!. '' She slapped her sisters and walked out of the room to get downstairs.

 

Taeyeon eyed herself in the mirror and teared a little.

 

Smile Taeyeon, Smile!

 

She fixed her tie put on some perfume and fixed her hair also. She walked downstairs and put up a smile. Halfway downstairs she stopped when she saw who the guest were. Her dad, mom  and sister along with 3 other people. 

 

''Taeyeon, don't stand there come downstairs honey. '' Her mom said

''Dae'' she said and walked downstairs. she stood infront of the guests and bowed.

''Hello, I'm Taeyeon. ''

They bowed back.

''Taeyeon this is Johnny and Angelina hwang. And that is Tiffany hwang. He is one of my close friends.You are on the same school right. I hope you and Tiffany will be friends '' her father said

 

She kept quiet. She glanced over to Tiffany and saw the girl smiling. she rolled her eyes and looked away.

 

''Taehyang, are Sherry and Jean not coming '' Hwang dad asked

''Yes, i guess he's late. like always '' he giggled

 

The parents all giggled because they know that the jungs are always late. They made way to the living room and started chatting with each other. The parents were talking about how they became friends but Taeyeon wasn't focusing at all. She felt that someone was looking at her and looked to her side when she saw Tiffany taking a seat beside her.

 

''Hey. '' Tiffany said

 

Taeyeon ignored her

 

''I said Hey. '' Tiffany said annoyed

 Taeyeon looked at her.

''So. '' she said

''Your suppose to greet me back. '' Tiffany smiled

''Don't have to. '' Taeyeon said

''But you just did '' Tiffany grinned

''I won't anymore '' Taeyeon raised her voice a little bit.

''You just did again, TaeTae '' 

''Don't call me that! '' Taeyeon jumped up

''Why not'' Tiffany acted dumb

''Because I said so'' she said and seated again.

''Hey Tiffany. '' Haeyeon said and seated across them

''Hello Haeyeon, how have you been '' Tiffany said and smiled

''Good unnie. How about you '' Haeyeon smiled back

''Not so good. '' Faked a sad expression

''OMO. how come Unnie. '' she walked over to her side and patted her shoulders.

''Your sister is mean to me. '' she pouted

''Seriously. '' she stood up to reach taeyeon and flicked her head

''YAH! what are you doing '' Taeyeon yelled

''You deserve it. You made Unnie upset! '' She yelled back

''She made me upset first! Do you love her more than me. '' Taeyeon pouted 

 

Haeyeon covered her eyes 

 

''Don't put you look ugly. I love Tiffany more so. '' She said and sticked her tongue out.

''Aish! this kid. '' Taeyeon said and was about to slap her on the arm but Tiffany stopped her.

''Don't slap my precious little dongsaeng, TaeTae. '' Tiffany coldly said

 

Taeyeon shivered a little.

 

''Don't call me TaeTae and I won't do it then '' Taeyeon stuttered

''I can't promise you that. '' Tiffany smiled

 

Taeyeon ignored her and pouted

 

''Atleast your talked to me '' Tiffany smiled.

''Don't get your hopes up, Fany. '' Taeyeon said. When she realized what she said she quickily covered with her hand. Tiffany bright eye-smile appeared. She decided to stay quiet and don't ruin the mood.

 

After awhile the bell rang.

 

''That must be them '' Taeyeon's dad said and walked to the door and open it. when he opened it the jung family was there. 

 

''JUNG! '' Taeyeon's dad smiled

''KIM '' he said

''Come in Come in! '' 

 

The jung family walked in put their shoes off and walked into the living room where the rest was. EVerybody looked up while two people stood that frozen with wide eyes open.

 

''Taeyeon, Haeyeon come greet the jung family. '' he said and grabbed the two girls hands and led them to the family.

 

''Hello. I am Taeyeon/Haeyeon '' They both said and bowed in unison.

 

 

They three family sat on the table ready to eat dinner. While two were shaken with nerves. Tiffany notices it.

 

'' Mr Jung did you know. Jessica and Krystal are also on the same school as us. '' Tiffany smiled

''Yes ofcourse dear. Are you girls friends. '' He asked

''I don't know if we are friends. Jessica is so mean to me '' 

 

Taeyeon and Jessica both rolled their eyes.

 

''Is she really. '' Jung frowned at turned his head towards Jessica.

''I'm not. '' Jessica pouted

''Yes you are. '' Tiffany said

''No I am not '' Jessica yelled back

''See she's yelling at me again. '' Tiffany said and pouted

''Shut up. '' Jessica mumbled and glared at her

 

Tiffany eye-smiled

 

''That's for running away on me'' Tiffany mumbled back

''I hate you. ''

''Love you too. Sica-yah '' Tiffany eye-smiled and hugged the girls arm

 

Taeyeon who watched the scene was boiling with jealousy but why she decided to let Jessica go she shouldn't be acting this way she said towards herself

 

''Girls you should go to Taeyeon's room we would like to catch up. ''  Taeyeon's mom said. The girls nodded but Taeyeon was against it but obeyed since it's her mother. Haeyeon and Krystal went to Haeyeon's room instead.

 

She guided the girls to the room and plopped on her couch.

 

''Your room is still the same Taeyeon. '' Tiffany said and plopped next to her.

''You've been here before, Tiffany. '' Jessica asked with a little bit jealousy.

''Yes me and Taeyeon are friends. '' Tiffany said and smiled

 

Jessica looked confused.

 

''You girls were friends, really. '' Jessica frowned

''We USE to be friends '' Taeyeon made clear

''We ARE going to be again, TaeTae '' Tiffany said 

''AISH! '' Taeyeon sighed and closed her eyes

''Eh ok. '' Jessica jealous again and seated next to Tiffany. ''What now '' she asked 

''Let's play something '' Tiffany smiled and put her arms around jessica shoulders.

''Like what ''

''Truth or dare '' Tiffany evily smile.

''I'm up for it. '' she said

''TaeTae how about you. ''Tiffany asked and shook the girl

 

Taeyeon opened her eyes

 

''Sure. '' She said

 

They seated in a circle.

 

'' I'll go first '' Tiffany said '' Taeyeon truth or dare '' 

''Truth''

Tiffany thought hard about a question and after awhile smiled

''Do you still like Jessica. '' Tiffany asked

Taeyeon little shocked glanced over to jessica and back to Tiffany.

''No. '' she said but know she lied.

Jessica looked down. Tiffany glanced over to Jessica and smiled.

''Ok, my turn. '' Taeyeon said. '' Tiffany, truth or dare. ''

''Truth '' she said

''Do you still love Jessica. '' she asked

''eh.. Yes. '' she smiled and looked at jessica.

 

Jessica gave her a smile.

 

''Jessica. Truth or dare. '' she asked

''Dare. ''' she said.

''I dare you to kiss Taeyeon. '' Tiffany smiled. 

 

Taeyeon looked shocked with wide eyes open. Jessica stood up placed herself infront of the girl and leaned closer to her face. Their faces were inches apart and jessica closed her eyes taeyeon just followed behind. Jessica closed the gap and kissed her fully on the lips after 3 seconds they parted ways. Taeyeon secretly enjoyed it and missed her warmth already. Tiffany who was a little hurt but deep down she was happy.

 

''I never said kiss her on the lips though. '' Tiffany said 

''Are you kidding me right now, Tiffany. '' Jessica said and slapped her on the shoulder.

''Yup anyway it's your turn Jessica. '' she said and pouted.

''Taeyeon. '' she said

''Dare. '' she said quickily.

''I dare you to... '' she thought and smiled. '' Well since you don't like me anymore. I dare you to when we get to school kissed the girl or boy I pick out for you. '' she smikred

''No! '' Taeyeon yelled ''I'm never going to do that. No, No, No. ''

''You have to! '' Tiffany helped Jessica.

''AISH! Give me another one. '' Taeyeon begged

''Araso '' Jessica said. '' How about you have to ask her/him to be your girlfriend or boyfriend. ''

That will punish her for not liking me anymore.

 

Tiffany laughed her off and Taeyeon stood their with eyes open.

 

''I'll just do the kiss then. '' Taeyeon sighed defeated.

 

The girls played the game for another hour and after awhile decided to watch tv instead. Jessica sat in the middle. Tiffany wrapped her armm over her shoulders. Taeyeon boiling with anger and jealousy looked from the side of her eyes to the girls. Jessica was a bit sleepy.. She leaned her head on Tiffany's chest and closed her eyes. Tiffany could feel Taeyeon looking at her and smiled. She's jealous she thought. She cae with a great idea. She pushed Jessica's head genlty towards Taeyeon's shoulder. '' I have to pee. '' She winked and walked out of the room. She wasn't really going to pee she was just giving Taeyeon some time to think.

Taeyeon looked at the figure on her shoulder. She kept staring at the girls face. without knowing that her hands genlty carresed Jessica's cheek and a tiny smile appeared. Jessica stirred a little and Taeyeon quickily stopped and turned her face back to the tv. Jessica woke up and sat back up.

 

''Sorry. '' Jessica said and looked embarrased.

''It's okay. '' taeyeon coldly said

 

They watched to tv for another hour.

 

''Where's Tiffany. '' Jessica asked

''Toilet. ''

''For a hour, da hell. '' Jessica said and stood up. 

 

Taeyeon nodded. She alreayd knew Tiffany was doing it on purpose but she liked it.

 

''GIRL! COME DOWN FOR A SEC!'' Taeyeon's dad yelled

 

All the girls came downstairs.

 

''Tiffany we are going home. Let's go. '' Tiffany's mom said.

''Araso mom. See you later TaeTae and Haeyeon. '' she said

''Bye Jessi. '' She said and hugged the girl.

''Bye Tiff. '' She smiled and hugged her back.

 

''Jessica and Krystal you have to stay here. Me and your mom have some business overseas and Mr Kim suggested you should stay here. Okay. '' Jessica's dad said and hugged the girls.

''Araso appa. '' Krystal said.

''Bye appa. '' Jessica said.

 

They kissed her mother on the cheeks and left the house.

 

''Taeyeon. You don't mind Jessica sleeping in you room right since the guest room is with our stuff. Krystal you can stay with Haeyeon. '' Taeyeon's mom said.

''Yes mom. '' Taeyeon said and walked to her room.

''Thankyou Mrs Kim. '' They both bowed

''Just call me Auntie. '' 

 

They nodded.

 

''If you need anything just tell me, okay. Now go take a shower and sleep. Tomorrow were going to the amusement park. '' Taeyeon's mom said.

 

The girls bowed again. Krystal went to Haeyeon's room and Jessica to Taeyeon's room. When she entered she saw Taeyeon laying on the bed with her hands over her eyes. She walked over to the bed and seated next to her.

 

''Could you lent me some sleeping clothes since mine will arrive tomorrow. '' she asked

 

Taeyeon didn't answer and stood up from the bed towards her closet. She opened it and took a shirt and pajama pants and threw it towards Jessica. Jessica barely catched and pouted. She was confused on why was taeyeon acting like this.

 

''Are you mad at me or something. '' Jessica asked 

 

Taeyeon ignored her and sat on the chair of her desk.

 

''Are you ignored me'' Jessica said a little louder.

 

Still no respond.

 

''Never mind then. '' she said and changed her clothes into her pajamas. 

 

Taeyeon glanced over to Jessica and saw the girl in her underwear and blushed. She quickily looked away when she saw Jessica looking back at her.

 

''Your still wearing the necklace. '' Taeyeon asked 

''Yes. ''

'' Can I have it back. '' She said and looked at Jessica.

''Why. ' Jessica looked confused.

''I only give things to people I like. '' She said and opened her hand ready to receive the necklace.

''Fine. '' Jessica said coldly and took the necklace off. She threw it towards Taeyeon and made way to the bed, layed on it and covered the blankets over her body. Tears slowly coming from her eyes.

 

 

It's 12 pm now. Taeyeon is still sitting at the desk. She has been staring at jessica for 1 hour already. She sighed and changed her clothes to ther pajamas. She placed herself next to Jessica. The back off Jessica towards her front. She scooted closer and wrapped her arms around the girls waist. Jessica without knowing just snuggled closer in her sleep. Taeyeon secretly took the necklace and put it around Jessica's neck again. She put on a tiny smile and kissed the girls on the cheeks when she noticed tears on it. 

Did she cry because of me.

Why would she cry

Maybe she's having a bad dream

Don't think about it to much

She don't like you 

She hates you

She used you

 

Taeyeon turned her body around and faced Jessica with her back. Tears slowly coming from her eyes. She deciced to sleep. She closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.
