“Araso. I’m fine with that,” Jiyong said.

I smiled at him. “Jinjja?”

He nodded. “Ne. I’m also curious of what will happen.”

“Gomawo, oppa!” then I hugged him.

“Tch. Anything for you, Hana.”

I released him and looked at my ex. “Yah. I thought you’re already over with our relationship.”

He nodded again. “Ne, I’ve moved on. But I still consider you as my younger sister. So, anything for my dongsaeng.”

“Good. Anyways, I’ll just call you next week.”

“Araso.”

Project Make-Kyuhyun-Jealous. I don’t know if my plan will work. But there’s nothing bad in trying, right? Hmmm. I need to put lots of effort in this project. I don’t want to fail.

“Oppa, what’s your favorite color?” I asked randomly.

Kyuhyun looked at me. “Black. Wae?”

I nodded. “I knew it. Jiyong-oppa also likes black. What’s your favorite book?”

“The Little Prince,” the blurted out.

“Jinjja? That’s also Jiyong-oppa’s favorite book,” then I leaned forward. “How about your favorite song?”

He shrugged. “Any song by Super Junior.”

“Super Junior… Jiyong-oppa mentioned that to me last week. And he said Big bang’s better than Super Junior,” I nodded. “I agree with him. I like Big Bang better.”

“You’re still in touch with your ex?”

I really want to smile but I shouldn’t. I heard the change of tone in his voice. “Ne, I am. I actually talked to him yesterday. We met at the coffee shop.”

But his expression didn’t change. “I thought he has moved on.”

“He already did.”

“Then why are you still seeing him?”

This time, I smiled. “Wae? Are you jealous?”

He raised an eyebrow. “What do you think?”

“You are.”

Then he smiled. “I like what you’re thinking. But mianahe, there’s no reason why I SHOULD be jealous.”

I glared at him. “Liar.”

He shrugged. “But that’s the truth,” then he tapped my shoulder. “Gwaenchana. Try harder next time,” and he left, smiling.

Aish! I failed! I hate it. I thought I already made him jealous. Ugh. He even told me to try harder. Tch. Let’s see, Cho Kyuhyun. I’ll definitely try harder. It’s just my first attempt.

I was baking chocolate chip cookies when the doorbell rang. Eomma went outside to open the gate and came back with a visitor. And it’s I’ll-never-get-jealous Kyuhyun. He approached me and sat on the chair beside me.

“Cookies?” he asked.

I nodded. “Ne.”

“But I didn’t tell you I’m coming. So you’re expecting me to visit you?”

“These cookies aren’t for you.”

“What?”

I looked at him and smiled at his upset face. “But I’ll give you some if you want.”

He shook his head. “Never mind. I don’t want to eat sweets today, anyways.”

“Tch,” then I went towards the oven and put the first batch of cookies inside.

“If those aren’t for me, then to whom are you going to give those cookies?”

I removed my apron and sat beside Kyuhyun. “I’m going to visit Jiyong-oppa today. He said he’s sick and he wants me to come over. I’m planning to bring him some cookies.”

He just nodded. “Araso. Tell him your boyfriend said hi.”

I smiled. “Ne,” then a brilliant idea popped out of my brain. “Yah. Why don’t you go there with me?”

“What?”

“He really wants to see you. Are you free today, huh?”

He shook his head. “No. Mianhae.”

I pouted. I hope this works. “Please, oppa?”

Again, he shook his head. “I still have a party to attend. Mianhae.”

I sighed. I failed again. “Araso. Maybe next time.”

“… Ne.”

“Wait. Whose party are you attending?”

“My noona. She just graduated from her med school.”

I nodded. “Oh. Tell her I said congratulations.”

“Araso,” then he stood up. “I’ll leave now. I just went here to check on you.”

“Ne. Take care.”

“You, too,” he went closer to me and hugged me.”Araso. Leave some cookies. I’ll get them tomorrow,” then he released me. “I’ll go now,” and he left.

I need a better plan. I’m now out of ideas! What now? What will I do now?

“Hana.”

I looked up at Kyuhyun. “Ne?”

“… You said your ex wants to meet me, right?” he asked.

I nodded. “Ne.”

“… Araso.”

My eyes widened. “W-What?”

“Let’s go there today. I have nothing to do so, kaja.”

I didn’t expect him to ask me that one. “B-But he’s-”

“Kaja.”

I sighed. “Araso.”

I don’t what happened. Why is he in a rush to meet Jiyong? Aish! He should have informed me. Ugh. I should have planned something.

“Annyeong,” Jiyong said.

“Annyeong,” Kyuhyun greeted.

I can sense awkwardness. “L-Let’s sit down,” I said.

We all sat around a table. I looked at Kyuhyun. He’s looking at Jiyong, which is also looking back at him. Jiyong’s smiling while Kyuhyun’s serious. Ugh. I wonder what he’s going to do.

“I heard you wanted to meet me,” Kyuhyun said.

Jiyong nodded. “Ne. I wanted to meet the new person who owns Hana.”

“So I guess I need to introduce myself now.”

“Go ahead.”

“Cho Kyuhyun-imnida. I’m Hana’s boyfriend.”

“And I’m her ex, Jiyong-imnida.”

He nodded. “I know.”

Silence. Ugh. Eotteohke?

“By the way, Hana. My mom’s throwing a party next week. She wants you to come.”

I nodded. “Araso. When?”

“On Wednesday.”

“Araso. I’ll come.”

“No,” Kyuhyun said.

I looked at him. “What?”

“Mianhae but Hana’s not available.”

“Then on Tuesday. I’ll just ask my mom-” Jiyong was interrupted.

“She’s not available the whole week. Mian.”

“Oppa?” I asked. What’s his problem?

“Wae?” Jiyong asked.

“… Should there be a reason?” Kyuhyun said.

“Oppa? What’s wrong with you?” I whispered to him.

But he just grabbed my hand and stood up. “We’re leaving,” then he pulled me out of restaurant. We stopped in front of the car. I tried to pull my hand away from his grip but I failed.

“Yah! Let go of me,” I said.

He looked at me. “Stop it, Hana.”

I raised an eyebrow. “What?”

“… You have succeeded… So stop it now.”

“I-I don’t get it.”

He hugged me. “… Fine. I’m already jealous of that Jiyong. So stop it now, araso?”

I smiled and hugged him tighter. “… Thanks.”

“For what?”

“For admitting that you’re jealous. I really appreciate it. Gomawo.”

“Tch. Don’t dare do it again, araso?”

I nodded. “Ne.”

“Good,” then he released me. “Kaja.”

“Ne,” then we rode his car and went home.
