Where is he?
Pareballes“We’re having cereal for breakfast?” Jungkook raised an eyebrow. No matter how late it was, Jin would never ever let anybody have cereal for breakfast. It was a big no no.
“Don’t eat it if you don’t want to,” Yoongi said. At his words, Jungkook faked a smile. He was just joking, so why did Yoongi have to use such a hostile tone?
Sometimes, Jungkook couldn’t help but feel like Yoongi didn’t care about him as much as he did back at the orphanage. Maybe he didn’t even care back then, maybe he just felt lonely so he approached Jungkook because he didn’t have any other choice, and maybe he brought him to this place because he would feel guilty if he didn’t.
Maybe that was it. But he still feel guilty for thinking so low about him.
On the other side, Yoongi was so immersed at his own thoughts that he didn’t realize how rude his words were until he saw Jungkook’s expression. He felt hurt, and it didn’t take a genius to notice. Maybe if he told him what was going on…?
“Should I prepare something else for you?” the oldest tried to fix the situation quickly.
“It’s fine. I’ll take the bus today hyung,” okay, maybe hitting his face with a hammer would hurt less. Jungkook bowed and headed to the door.
“Ah… I asked Jin-hyung if he could get me a book from his mom’s place," Jungkook turned around, hesitating for a second.
At the mention of Jin, Yoongi forced himself not to say anything.
“I don’t want to wake him up,” he continued, “Can you ask him to leave it on the desk?”
“Yeah,” he nodded, doing his best not to sound nervous. “He went to his mom’s?” Yoongi asked, expecting it to sound as a very casual question. But he desperately needed the answer.
“Yeah. I texted him last night. He was going to his parents’ house, and he said he’d get it for me.”
